No mind for design concepts, how things look and should look etc- but I still feel longing to make one. I suck at asking for help, like making the choice to ask for help- so. I guess this is my attempt lol.
Design can be very challenging. To be honest, the best advice that I could give is to find a bunch of art you like and try to copy it. Eventually you'll create your own style. Also everyone can get good at art, it just takes practice. Maybe that's not the advice you want to hear haha but it's true. We have a discord server where people post art and help critic if you're interested.
@@Goodgis I appreciate the time you took to make your response- I think I will look into that. I suppose I just psyche myself out with the time it may take for me to invest in learning it "all", in relation to the time it took me to get where I'm at with programming haha.
For sure, I learned so much from both of these projects. And because Construct is a "drag and drop" game engine, it helped me focus more on the logic. So learning C++ has been a cake walk.
Construct2 has drag-and-drop and JS so you're not stuck with one or the other. There are some foolish things that aren't worth programming that its like, "Why am I remaking the wheel (especailly when there are at least 200+ versions of setting up the control schema)?" You can setup enemies in Construct2 with network. There can be some positioning issues. One way you can set it up is by setting one of the users as the primary server or the otherway is to setup a server then average out the ping & positioning.

Have you thought of doing unity C# is one of the best coding languages it gives you the most out of the time you spend.
C# has some strengths but C++ is much better if I want to make a proper MMO. I'm also messing around with Rust!
@@Goodgis I haven't really done much research into C++ just thought the newer coding language C# would one day be the dominating game coding language. I have never heard of Rust but I think that is a really good idea due to the ability to combine the language with C++ or C#.
Do you think I could dev one in scratch
Who knows, the question is why would you want too. XD
@@Goodgis bc I'm
Always up for
A good challenge
Hi I'm 14 and I'm trying to make a mmorpg in construct2 any advise
Read, read, and read some more of Construct's multiplayer manual. It's super boring but a necessity if you want to do it. Best of luck!
@@Goodgis ok thanks
I have a dream for doing a 2d shooter, like madness combat interactive, but, i dont have the pc or the programs or the experience programing so... Is a horrible feel can't do a project
It just takes time!
hey I have a problem I want to make mmorpg but haven't been able to find any tutorials pls help
You'll probably need to read your engines manuals or any written tutorials.
@@Goodgis I'll try, thanks
I'm a construct developer. I'd love to talk! x-ray games
:D
can we buy its source code template love the game. thanks
The project is too much of a mess to sell as a template. Maybe in the future though. :D
programmer here looking for a graphics designer because i s u c k so bad.
Any tips? I really don't want to delve into the design side of things. I really enjoy programming and engineering- I want to stay there but I know that it's holding me back :|. I'd love to work on a project like these but I'm strictly programming.
Long time delevolping gets somewhere at least
For sure, I learned so much from both of these projects. And because Construct is a "drag and drop" game engine, it helped me focus more on the logic. So learning C++ has been a cake walk.
I wnat to be a game creator like you!
Go for it! I believe in you. :D
Construct2 has drag-and-drop and JS so you're not stuck with one or the other. There are some foolish things that aren't worth programming that its like, "Why am I remaking the wheel (especailly when there are at least 200+ versions of setting up the control schema)?"
You can setup enemies in Construct2 with network. There can be some positioning issues. One way you can set it up is by setting one of the users as the primary server or the otherway is to setup a server then average out the ping & positioning.
Yes, that's actually how it did it with Construct built in networking but Photon seems to work differently.
BRUHHHH, You played stick online? Wow. Same, and honestly it was super fun.
SO UN: Gho$t
Heck yeah!
@@Goodgis I'd still play, in fact at the time it inspired one of my game designs which was short lived unfortunately. The game was super fun despite being so simple and not what you would thing a traditional MMO is
8:14 My dream game is an MMO unfortunately my terrible hardware and not enough money to buy some good hardware makes it impossible for me to use just about anything....
Never give up! :D I believe in you.
@@Goodgis thanks.. it truly means a lot :D
How do I play fantasy world?
It's not available anymore.
everyone should play wizbirds because its kinda empty rn.
Haha, that's the charm of it.
how about a steam release
We probably wont for these games but definitely for future ones. :D
You should do tutorial 👍
Thanks! :D
