I first heard about Skin/Skunk Anansie from the movie Strange Days/Selling Jesus. I kept rewinding the VHS over and over again just to see the band. She is by far my favorite female vocalist of all time. Been hooked ever since. Traveling across the pond to see them live is on my bucket-list!!

From the punk aspect that might seem a bit strange, but then you realize that outrageous talent like that is perfectly at home in academia or the gutter equally. Their genuine musical intelligence is unbelievable. I start to wonder what they do in their spare time when they dont have to be punk. That calibre of artist can do anything.

Skin= utter powerhouse. Watched SA tear a venue up at a pre tour warm up gig back in the day... no support, came on to a totally cold room and delivered a stunning set.... underrated
