Placebo is still so underrated, people have no idea what they’re missing… Discovered them at 15 years old, around 2004, I’ve never looked back since. I do like other artists and bands, but none do it for me like Placebo does. Pure perfection. If you’re here too, then I like you, whoever you are. I remember watching "Cruel Intentions" for the first time. This song is the music for the opening credits. I was so flashed and had tears in my eyes. Next day I bought the soundtrack. Even today, about twenty-five years on, it is still one of my favorite songs.

Placebo has been in heavy rotation on my playlist since the late 90s. Always had a soft spot for them, this album in particular.
His voice and the tone of the bass just sounds tough, Its simple but WOW!!!

Sometimes songs can be about something specific, even if the lyrics are buried in analogy, but sometimes lyrics can just be words and phrases that don't really mean anything, but just sort of conjure a feeling.
Even the repeated chorus line _'Every me and every you',_ if you think about it, doesn't really make sense in either a grammatical syntax way or even conversationally. If someone said that to me I wouldn't know what they meant. What do you mean _'every'_ me? There's only one of me, I think. Are you saying there's a clone of me somewhere? WHAT??
So yeah, doesn't make sense. Still works as a chorus. The song means whatever you feel like it means.
