Thanks for this very detailed review. I bought this motorcycle last week as a first bike with the brown seats instead of the black ones. As a 6.1ft I'm glad to see that even a bigger person than me finds this bike comfortable. i m going to ride this motor in rain mode untill i'm used to the motorcycle. i really can't wait untill this motorcycle arrives!
Good review. I noticed some dealers, discounting these. I prefer the 23 colours 😊 I got the 500se. Am a real short arse, so this be the logical upgrade. Maybe next year. I just got my custom seat back from the specialist…. My only doubt, is it’s much heavier and I got a very steep drive, and tight area to turn bike, and a wee lip to push it backwards into garage. (Abdominal issues). Anyway cracking review. Nice handy storage under the seat.. but, would still want a usb on handlebars.😊 oh and heated grips
You looked very strange on that bike, I'm a bit of a Honda fan boy and the price is really good but I really don't like the style of the bike, especially the tank. To me it just doesn't do it any favours, but nice to see you up and about lofty, it seems a while.
It's one of those bikes if it fits what you are after It's great.....it doesn't fit my size or style.....thanks for watching once again....bikes are thin on the ground...I'm riding the 450 Himalayan Friday and the S1000XR Monday, then I'm off to Spain.....
Great review mate.. Too small for my long legs though. Not a fan of all these mini bikes... Looking at a CFmoto GT or MT 650.. Need a bit of protection from the rain...
Great review. It's an odd looking bike, just in the look of the petrol tank (which seems a bit small, too). The exhaust could sound a bit more "thumpy" without being any louder (the Africa Twin sounds better). That said, I bet it's a fantastic bike to ride, Honda know what they're doing, even when the stats look strange on paper. 👍
@theloftybiker3090 most bikes are a third of the american brands, im somewhat interested in cruisers but not willing to spend that amount of money for a brand. Your vids are always a joy to watch
@@ThePresidentofMars both take a very Japanese view of the Cruiser......unfortunately we do not have a Yamaha dealership in Cornwall, which makes riding Yam, HD & Triumph challenging.
What's the expression? Knee high to a grasshopper? I had the CMX1100 DCT for a while. A virtuous bike, plenty fast enough, at its best over long distances, but the fuel tank is too small. The manual version looks excellent value for money. I PXed mine because I could not get used to the DCT. How people cope with the DCT on the Africa Twin I cannot imagine.
I had the 500 as a loan bike when my Duke was written off and didn't like it at all. Too low, and hated the riding position but I suppose cruiser fans like them.
Your video was Great!!!! I was looking for a bit of mode action and that's what you showed. Thank you!!! I appreciate it!
@@annehause7118 you are welcome, thanks for watching
“Ive got a good six inches above the seat!” 😂😂😂
😄😂😆🤣😥😆
I have a 2021 love it

Thanks for watching Mark
The low seat height is nice but not much travel to go over bumps
A consequence of the low seat is little shock travel......Longer more subtle shocks ingrease the ride height....thanks for watching

Yes the short of leg need only apply....the CF moto 800MT is a wonderful piece of kit.....thanks for watching

I agree and at under a third the price of an HD😉.....far too small for me, but it will suit a lot of riders....thanks for watching

@ThePresidentofMars pound for pound, this is probably the best value cruiser out there! ....thanks for watching
@@theloftybiker3090 much better looking than the vulcan imo. Do you see yourself reviewing a tenere in the future? Those are gorgeous bikes

Brilliant. You sitting on the bike 😂😂😂
It was a very low seat lol......thanks for watching
Nice, steady kind of bike for the shorter leg rider. But, did the winner of the ugliest Honda exhaust can get to put it on the 1100 Rebel.
I think the whole bike appearance could divide opinion not just the exhaust......thanks for your continued support

Lol.....I'm a massive DCT fan. Wouldn't be without it now, slow speed and tight mountain passes a cinch 😉....thanks for watching
Liked the looks but couldn't cope with the riding position.
It is very different indeed.....thanks for watching

Cruiser style bikes are the marmite category of bikes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder........thanks for watching
The CMX 1100 has a smaller fuel tank(2.5 gallons) than it's 500ccrebel stablemate (3 gallons). Not impressed with it at all.🥺🙄
Rebel 500 is 11.2 ltrs and the Rebel 1100 is 13.6....so no the CMX1100 has 2.4ltrs mor than the Rebel 500.....thanks for watching
