The unused Chao interactions (holding hands, having conversations, getting fruit) make me a little sad since they could have made the game a lot more interesting.

I just recently began playing SA2B on PC just for the sole purpose of playing with the Chao and seeing what kind of mods were available (thank you, CWE), and I've definitely seen #128 used when my Amy Chao gets hungry enough to add to the "dizziness" stat. It's pretty funny to see.
107 and 108 is when a chao like the character you are playing and you whistle, this is one of the animations that the chaos can make while he runs on you Edit: 121 is for breeding chao
Imagine if sega was making a chao garden add on and these animations were some of the things going to add, more emotians and animations for small stuff but also added completely new things like the chao's climbing up trees
Some of this animations are form SA1, and some others like bully chao and friend chao are probably from mechanics they couldn't implement. I think 109 was probably meant for the chao when inside the egg, but they probably didn't use it because it was unnecessary. 99 was most likely for usage while evolving or winning chao races, since the chao race animations can probably be sped up manually. It's possible that chao would have been able to detect collisions around them instead of running into them and sliding along the sides, I imagine animations like 522 and other tree related mechanics could have used this feature.

Theres probably a couple mods available that do just that! Sapphire's actually been using a few to add the piano, conversation, bully animations, etc, to her chao let's play Though if you have a console version of the game, I don't think theres any way to do it

in the gamecube you need to play a game and win a prize from a chao then you put in your gba and transfer to gamecube , now in chao world extended you need a chao to reincarnate 2 times and then give him 24 animals and he need to be a fly chao , now on chao fusion editor you just need a new born chao and put on tails chao and tada
I think it has something to do with a game called Phantasy Star Online, but I'm not entirely sure. You might try doing some Google searches. An ActionReplay or other hacking device would also work.

The debug names for these animations also hinted what they did - 151 was literally had the japanese name which meant 'Drowned'

I’m going to assume that Hanabi is unused for the Neutral Garden. It feels like an unused thing.
Hanabi is the word for fireworks in Japanese, there's an unused model of a candle/sparkler which is believed to be the Hanabi that Chao can hold.

Only possible in Chao World Extended, you can press the alternative action button to allow Chao to be placed down

I force each individual animation to play using Cheat Engine
