I recently got overall 8 (L-8.5, R-8.5, W-7, S-7) in my IELTS academic test thanks to the awesome guidance of Alex and Jay. I got it in the first attempt which is why I am so happy. The weekly mock writing sessions with Alex and speaking tips of Jay were super helpful. I love you guys, I love E2 language. Keep up the good work 💯💙

@@mn00004 Make your typing speed and accuracy better. I had to struggle in my writing section as I didn't take this seriously. If you don't practice well enough, you will find yourself correcting the spellings again and again which happened to me in the writing section; and it kills your time a lot. Reading part is actually better in computer delivered format. For listening section, you need to practice listening and typing at the same time. It might be a little tricky sometimes specially if you don't get used to it but it's not that hard either.

    summary
    1. you get a pen and paper
    2. there is a suite of on-screen tools
    3. you can move around between sections
    4. no need to count words
    5. there's a timer on the screen
    6. you don't get 10 extra minutes in listening (cuz for paper based test, the 10 minutes is for transferring answers to answer sheet )
    7. All capitals ? NO !
    8. you get headphones
    9. no official break
    10. the speaking test is not on the computer

Hi E2IELTS, today I received my results of the computer delivered IELTS. Thank God! I got L-8, W,S,R-7 and it’s exactly the result I wanted. Thank you so much for all the tips. Especially I should say the mock tests help immensely. They take away most of the fear we have inside us and make us comfortable for the real exam. The mock tests of yours are really just like the same as the real test. Thank you again and again.
I had the exam in Macquarie University, Sydney. I should say that the speaking test was really shorter than it earlier was. If anyone is attempting the exam there, please bear that in mind.
Another thing I want to say is do a lot of practice for listening and reading and that’ll take you there where you want to be in. I have Cambridge books from 1-10. I could give them to anyone who wants. They give you a lot of practice.
I wish all those who are out there practicing for the exam to achieve their targets without hassle. God bless you all.
