Don’t stress urself with too many tips or high vocabulary etc. Imagine u r speaking to just a random person in English. That’s it. You’ll get 7 for it. All the best

This was a random suggestion that I got today and just reminded me of the time I attended IELTS last September. I'm a fluent English speaker but often due to anxiety issues, I stutter during the start of a conversation and it would completely ruin the remaining part. Hi I scored 7.5 in speaking even though I stopped once for around 10 seconds (or more) ..the examiner had to repeat the question and I also hesitated in a couple of part 2 follow up ques but still I scored 7.5 because I used the simple yet effective methods of this video.... I used the phrase "nothing to talk home about" when asked about my home and I can tell the examiner looked a lil impressed... I spoke naturally and used good vocab as well.. thank youuuuuu so muchhhh Keith ...
@@HuongLe-ic3jg there is no way to prepare and pass the speaking part of the exam just in one week. He had already been good at speaking and mastering his skills for quite a bit of time (from 6 months and more, it's rather individualiatic). There is no way to make it simple, don't be misguided.

The most useful lesson ever! I learnt from a lot of IELTS speaking videos and websites, but I found it difficult to understand because of complicated chunks and grammatical structures. Dear Keith! I took my IELTS last week and I landed an 8.0 score across all sections! Unfortunately, I couldn't study in a proper and timely fashion for the exam. Just two days before, I consumed all your videos regarding the "Speaking" component and what to do on the day of the exam. I used some of the expressions you mentioned, but in general, I kept it very spontaneous, simple and fluid! I didn't prepare for the Listening, Reading and Writing components, but in the end, all went very well!

It really helps me a lot in Part 1, and it’s not too difficult to understand but very useful. For writing part, I accidentally deleted on all of my staff (approximately 310 words) in PART 2 that I have already written. I only managed to recover 210 words of it within 10 minutes without finishing my last paragraph. However, I still get what I need for my college application in Canada🇨🇦. Thank you so much!!!

I had been done twice ielts test before I started to watch Keith’s videos and always I got 6 on speaking and then I got focused and my last test I got 7 so I would like to say thank you Keith . Hi Keith, I'm a customer service rep. Here in my country, the Philippines. In BPO industry interview, the keep it short and simple in introducing yourself won't work out. Why? The interviewer wanted to hear more from the interviewee. Because, this company is making sure that the applicant can handle a normal conversation from his/her daily task as a customer service rep. Using 100% of their voice.

It generally takes 14 days to get the IELTS result. In computer based exam you will get result within 5 days.

Hello Keith!! I couldn’t thank you enough for all your very useful videos! I depended solely on TH-cam for both my IELTS General and Academic tests and relied on you to prepare me for the Speaking test.
Last August, I had my General Module and I got 8.0 on Speaking and just yesterday, I got my score for the Academic module I took last week and my Speaking score is now at 8.5!!
I particularly love this video because I believe it’s so important to set a first impression and it helps identify how the conversation will flow.

I had been done twice ielts test before I started to watch Keith’s videos and always I got 6 on speaking and then I got focused and my last test I got 7 so I would like to say thank you Keith . I have followed all your tips and advice and even the pauses and the speech which worked very well .I didn’t get 6.5 overal yet but my speaking definitely improved.

Finally, a teacher that says what I actually think! Most of the answers in the other videos sound fake, I can't speak as the same way I write. I would prefer to sound natural and talkative instead.

Hi Keith, I'm a customer service rep. Here in my country, the Philippines. In BPO industry interview, the keep it short and simple in introducing yourself won't work out. Why? The interviewer wanted to hear more from the interviewee. Because, this company is making sure that the applicant can handle a normal conversation from his/her daily task as a customer service rep. Using 100% of their voice.
