i wish there were more sonic games like sonic heroes where you can switch between characters i always loved it since i could play as tails and knuckles so i could battle with knuckles in some areas or i could decide to use sonic instead for example

It's definitely TH-cam. This was captured at a high bit-rate at 60fps, in 480p, line-doubled to exactly 960p in a 1080p frame. I've actually run it on my Wii! Nintendon't is _the_ GC image loader to use, as it actually manages to keep the system running in Wii mode despite running GameCube software!
I couldn't help but notice your concerns about risking a Wii brick... I hope you don't mind, but I have a couple easy/safe Homebrew installations I have worked with. I've installed Homebrew a total of 6 times on Wii/Wii U consoles, and there are a few extremely cheap and easy methods (such as any of the 3 exploits involving the Lego games. Indiana Jones, Batman, and Star Wars all have exploits which are built to install whatever payload you include) I personally prefer the Lego Star Wars exploit, as it is the easiest game to find of the three, and only requires you have some piece of active save data that the patch can replace. At that point, you just touch the character creator, and it will load the payload. (ideally, the payload would be the Homebrew browser/software, but other payloads work too) All in all, if you try this method, it will only run you about $20 to get a copy of Lego Star Wars, and a standard SD card for the Wii. There are plenty of other methods for installing Wii homebrew - such as Letterbomb - but all are relatively risk free as long as you follow the directions and don't try to install a volatile payload as the first one. My last thing to say is that Wii/Wii U modding and exploits have become significantly better and more stable... as my first Homebrew was using an old version of Letterbomb, and took over 12 hours to complete. New setups can take under 30 minutes to execute once you know the steps. Hopefully this info helps some!

I'm an NHS worker in the middle of a COVID pandemic, have a 3 year old daughter to attend to, as well as a wife and family, and chores to do and etc. Now lockdown is easing, I'm also seeing friends I haven't seen in months. The only time I get to do TH-cam work is at 10pm or even later at night, and I have work at 7am next morning. After a long day and it comes to 10am, the last thing I want to do is more work; especially as the studio is also my NHS work as been working from home a lot. So, sometimes I chill out (as I won't have any other time to).
heck I remember back in the CulT days some girl got her hands on an early xbox version around the game's development/release... would this effectively have the same content? my copy of Mario Kart Double Dash came with a playable demo for Heroes, but I don't remember how different it was from the final release. Definitely wish I could have disabled in-game dialogue in the final game... "a lot less chatty" is a nicer way to say that we don't have to listen to them gab every ten seconds :P
This makes me wonder if the Xbox version of this E3 prototype demo has all the secret in-dev things that the Gamecube version has. Perhaps I should look into exploring that with my softmodded OG Xbox. 📀🤔

NR Discs only run on NR Reader GameCubes. (not to be confused with the NPDP Reader, a cartridge-based dev system)
