Terraria is definitely not a very blind playthrough friendly game, but man, you did so well with figuring out some of the features, like the crawltipede gimmick. Also, I was initially cringing at using the light disc to beat cultist, but honestly, that's just impressive now that I think about it.

its so wholesome seeing someone play terraria for the first time, its awesome that you were able to navigate the very ambiguous game that is terraria. all that aside would love to see more terraria stuff. also FYI dying that many times is completely normal
I never got to experience terraria like this, my first time was a master mode crimson world with my friends. I understood nothing at the start, but quickly started using the wiki to learn how I should be a good mage (since I wanted to be a mage), but watching this makes me appreciate the game more and more.
This game is so amazing. You just played through and beat everything completely blind and you really tore through that extremely fast, and yet theres just so much more You never really learned how to properly make houses, didnt fight like half the bosses, missed multiple huge events, didnt fully go through any upgrade trees, never really visited the hardmode dungeon, never experimented with magic, and so much more. It just made me realize how many ways there are to play this game, how much there is to learn, etc. Great video my friend
Fishing, pylons, housing, and so much more that I never even touched! I'm wanting to do a master mode run which will force me to fully upgrade and use all the systems the game has to allow me to win!
Just a tip, you can use wood as a basic building block. It genuinely hurts to see you use dirt as your building block, since grass, flowers, and vines grow on them. Oh, and for your next playthrough, you might want to check the wiki for the bosses list, since you missed fighting a few bosses in the game. They're genuinely great fights that you definitely not want to miss.
Here are some tips: The broken hero swords that were dropped by the Mothrons (Those weird flying bug things which are summoned rarely in the solar eclipse which is the orange moon thing-y) are apart of a long crafting tree for the Terra Blade, which is a absolute MUST for your next playthrough. I recommend you search up its crafting tree. If you can't find to get the Terra Blade. Then get the Influx waver from the Ufos in the Martian invasion! After all, they are pretty much equal when doing the job. Now, there are a lot of upgrades you could've gotten, but didn't get. With the Spectre boots you can make Lightning boots with a Aglet and Anklet of the Wind. These boots make your movement speed 8% faster which can help a lot if you need it. Now if you have gotten a pair of ice skates, combine them with your lightning boots to make Frostspark boots which can help you with ice. You need to do this to get to be able to craft the Terraspark boots, but they are really grindy and I recommend you stop at the Frostspark boots. Now you should have also gotten a better pair of wings. As the bone wings weren't a upgrade and kept you down with stats like the angel wings, instead you should've gotten Mothron wings from those Mothrons I mentioned earlier or the butterfly wings which are crafted with butterfly dust dropped from Moths in the jungle (Not mothrons). Then you should also get a pair of EoL or Duke Fishron wings which are dropped from the side bosses with the same names, the wings are after all godly from what I heard! So I recommend you grind them for the wings.
I love watching new players on my favorite games. reminds me that there’s more to these games then hella competitive gameplay and optimizing everything as much as possible. I miss this first experience, taking 300 hours to get to moon lord, having to plug in my spare controller and have my dad help me beat the destroyer after struggling for weeks, having a thousand wiki pages pulled up for everything I needed to remember. the good ol’ days, before 1.4 was even on the ps5. all the support in the world, man, this video’s amazing and I haven’t even seen you get wooden leggings lol❤
I aam a Terraia veteran, or something like that and I am really proud of you defeating Moon Lord with relative ease! I struggled with it msyelf when it first came out, so good job!
This was genuinely happy and nostalgonistic. I remember when I first played Terraria and I was so confused and I quit the game because I couldn't make progress. Glad to see you making good content! You need some more Subs.
51:30 this is the main appeal of terraria honestly, the feeling of growing stronger is so well done in this game, even just getting a 15% boost to one's power from a ranger emblem is a big, big step forward
Seeing you discover the mechanics and let yourself go with the flow of the game made me feel like I felt when I was a kid playing this game Just going in blind and letting the awesome progression of the game take me places and getting awesome items Idk man, I feel really good watching this and I hope you enjoy more of the game in the future, mastering this game is so much fun Thank you for the awesome video :))
I’ve played through this game so many times that when I start a new save, I practically already played through the whole game in my head before I even fight a boss and then turn it off. When it’s your first time, everything is new and exploration is more fun than anything so enjoy this experience, you won’t get it back. Also, great video!
this is your only video on this channel and it's brilliant, this is exactly how a first time terraria playthrough should go, there were plenty of times where I cringed at how you could've done things differently but that's all part of the first time experience, I think you totally nailed it on this one, keep it up
There is nothing more magical then playing a masterpiece for the first time ! Played Bioshock last week for the first time, what a blast. Its great to see someone experience this.
100 subs?!?! Very underated! This video is very intertaining seeing you don't know what to do yet it gives me the feeling of when i first started playing the game! It was a great experience watching you playing it! You did really well actually.
This video deserves so much more attention and views, you have amazing editing, commentary and pretty much everything else, it's just such a good video. I wish you luck on your next playthrough if you ever come back to this game!
seeing you think that certain accessories had to go in certain slots, making you just keep the step stool on for way too long absolutely killed me. really fun to watch but man did that hurt to see every time you opened your inventory
i spent an entire summer back in middle school playing this game lol the trial and error of your gameplay is pretty reminiscent of my first play ! i wasn't able to beat the final boss but i had a lot of fun
Good job! That was gripping. As a longtime Terraria player (since beta) it's kinda funny and frustrating to see how those arenas were built, but you got the job done anyway!
Really cool to see how you interacted with the mechanics! As a 2000+ hour player I take a lot of the good game design for granted and am glad you were able to figure things out using the guide and intuition. Thanks for making this video!
This playthrough is extremely impressive for your first time. I had to turn to the wiki for so many little eccentricities that you were able to figure out immediately
You're far better than I was starting the game - I was as kitted out as can be for the wall of flesh and still couldn't do it for ages, while you just beat it with demonite armour! Great video!
What a great video! I started playing terraria a couple days ago, and watching this video was so fun, seeing everyone experiencing different things in different orders also from the quality of this video, im sure you will have much more subs in the future.
For a smaller TH-camr this was amazing. It was incredible watching you learn about the game as it went on and you destroyed it. Much love. Hope you keep putting out more❤
I've played this game for years, but still wanted to watch this! I screamed at the screen sooo many times xD and yet thinking that this is how the person teaching me this game must have felt watching me figure it all out mistake after mistake xD Great content! You should try Sun Haven! Sort of stardew valley meets Terraria, etc!
On my first run, I was barely able to get to hardmode before having to check the wiki. You were able to just tear through the entirety of classic difficulty on your first try, Amazing!
man i seriously enjoyed watching this video start to finish, your content is so engaging and it's really refreshing to not be bombarded with overstimulating edits most TH-camrs use :) this also really made me want to forget everything I know about terraria and go back to 2019 when I first played, I forgot how exciting it was not knowing anything about what's in store xD
ok, please, make a 200 days or another playthrough with another class (Summoner is underrated and fun in my opinion) this was such an entertaining vid. Also, this playthrough was so good for first time. And from the looks of it you didnt look anything up at all. All of the problem solving that you did was rly incredible. rly good stuff.
as my final comment in my barrage of comments, ill say that im a bit sad you missed 4 of the optional side bosses. perhaps you can try "100 percent" completing this game in a follow up video? if you have ANY interest in finishing all the remaining bosses, do not torture yourself again. google the terraria wiki and read until your eyes bleed. this game has thousands of totally unmentioned items and weapon combinations, and im quite sad you never went back to the shimmer pool. there is a fishing boss called duke fishron that is super fun and quite challenging, and his placement on the boss tree is right around plantera level, and he gives some incredible mage weapons. as a day 1 terraria fanboy, watching you play one of my favorite games with such joy and patience was a genuinely wonderful experience. ill never forget my first time playing this masterpiece of gaming. thank you so much for having the foresight to record it!
oh and the "rare item" achievement was referring to opening the "biome" chests in the dungeon. these chests require a key that is literally a 1/1000 drop chance from any enemy in their respective biomes. given your insane luck for this run, im surprised you never found one!
I am amazed and also feeling nostalgic for my first ever playthrough. I've been playing this game since 2011 and I've never advanced so quickly and so successfully like You did in your game. Again, really nice video to watch and to go back in time. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great video it reminded me when i first started. 😂😂 but even with the scuffed accessories you managed to play through. I would love to see you play in expert mode then to play mods like calamity as the mods more than double the content in the game and also are so much fun. Hope to see more content soon andbyou earned a sub.
If you ever play this game on the channel again, I wouldn't mind seeing a let's play on a harder difficulty. it would be interesting seeing your reaction to Items and features you may have not seen or missed.
insane gameplay 10/10 you can craft more things with the solar fragments you can make class specific armors with them to further boost your stats and i suggest checking ur melee weapons too because there’s a a lot of super good swords you can use by mixing them together.
you are really good at the game.. undeveloped accessories for the most of the run, skipped hallowed armor, and the entire terrablade (which is helpful in melee run)... as a melee main u show me that there are other great melee weapon than terrablade swords progression lmao
That was really impressive going into this game blind, wow! Though I was interally screaming at the way you used the same weapons for half the game lol. It makes me think, since I never talk to the guide that the devs made him more helpful, without players having to use the wiki. Also it made me realize that new players can easily miss so much content on their first playthrough. There are quite a few optional extra bosses that slipped past you, and invasions/events. They can really help solidify your gear and streamline progression if you are having noticeable difficulty. :)
This is actually is just like how I started but i never beat it this fast it took like a few years for me to actually beat it. This video was really good man cant wait for more content man
if you ever want to play it again, try expert mode. Its more difficult but changes a lot about bosses and there's some great special loot. Great vid! (also i havent watched the full video yet but i feel like you never used the "crafting" button in the guide npc)
Great video! You should try out some playthroughs using other class's like summoner and mage. You could also try out modded terraria but i would recommend playing through the main game a couple more times and at a higher difficulty as modded can be pretty difficult.
I actully started laughing when you summoned the Eye Of Cthulhu on your first few days. Normally I fight him with the Zenith and in the best armour known.
couples of tips to help things go smoother 1. When battling the destroyer WATCH HIS HEAD if it hits you it does the most damage compared to any other part of his body 2. It helps to choose a class like summoner, mage, melee or, range so you can pick out armor sets and weapons to maximize damage. 3. Herp farms help a ton for making potions, planting seeds in pots will grow herbs over time, harvesting them with a staff of regrowth (found in jungle chests) will get max herbs.
watching a first terraria playthrough is so nostagic, and it is interesting to see what it is like to try it out in 1.4, as i started 8 or so years back in 1.2. overall very good video, man 👍👍
You did really well for not even watching anything about the game before this! It might be fun for you to try out another playthrough in Expert or Master modes, and maybe take your time a bit more, since you really blew through the game. Also, the video is really well made! I was surprised to see you only had 2k subs, so definitely keep it up!
So this video was amazing and it was nice seeing a new player do all this. I wanna give you some hints for melee tho xd so when you fight the lunatic cultist you still used the discs which are pretty bad after all the mechanical bosses and there much better weapons like the Terra Blade, Eye of Cthulu YoYo or the Influx Waver.
It sounds like you are having fun. I am so happy that is the case, because this game is amazing and truly worth experiencing many times due to its almost infinite replayability. keep up the good content! :)
I remember the first time i played the game i started in probably 2016 playing just the demo for the xbox 360, i had no idea what i was doing but i was loving it the whole time. terraria left a huge impression on me and 3 years later i got a full copy of terraria for the Nintendo switch for Christmas, since then i have been playing and loving the game.
If you feel like more terraria, you should check out expert mode or even master mode. I really enjoyed seeing a new player work everything out on their own, it takes me back lol.
I really like new players reactions because they are so real and natural, no exaggerated reactions, false impressions. They are just enjoying for first time the game.

This is probably my favorite "100 days" style video ever. I love the calm dialogue and small bits of humor. good luck man!!!
Seeing you discover the mechanics and let yourself go with the flow of the game made me feel like I felt when I was a kid playing this game
Just going in blind and letting the awesome progression of the game take me places and getting awesome items
Idk man, I feel really good watching this and I hope you enjoy more of the game in the future, mastering this game is so much fun
Thank you for the awesome video :))
I’ve played through this game so many times that when I start a new save, I practically already played through the whole game in my head before I even fight a boss and then turn it off. When it’s your first time, everything is new and exploration is more fun than anything so enjoy this experience, you won’t get it back.
Also, great video!
This is very entertaining. Keep it up my friend!
Thank you! 😊 these take awhile to create, but I plan on making plenty more!
Using a Light Disk almost the entirety of Hardmode must’ve been difficult
this is your only video on this channel and it's brilliant, this is exactly how a first time terraria playthrough should go, there were plenty of times where I cringed at how you could've done things differently but that's all part of the first time experience, I think you totally nailed it on this one, keep it up
Love seeing new people play the game it’s always fun seeing how big the game seems at first
There is nothing more magical then playing a masterpiece for the first time !
Played Bioshock last week for the first time, what a blast.
Its great to see someone experience this.
The editing on this video is good!
Thank you! I'm excited to continue improving the format/style too!
100 subs?!?! Very underated! This video is very intertaining seeing you don't know what to do yet it gives me the feeling of when i first started playing the game! It was a great experience watching you playing it! You did really well actually.
I don't think I have ever seen anyone other than myself die by mining a boulder they were standing on.
That's the magic of blind playthroughs.
This video deserves so much more attention and views, you have amazing editing, commentary and pretty much everything else, it's just such a good video. I wish you luck on your next playthrough if you ever come back to this game!
I look forward to seeing more terraria videos from you! That was dope, I remember my very first time playing terraria, nothing compares.
The fact the dirt houses managed to stay until Moon Lord is incredible
seeing you think that certain accessories had to go in certain slots, making you just keep the step stool on for way too long absolutely killed me. really fun to watch but man did that hurt to see every time you opened your inventory
i spent an entire summer back in middle school playing this game lol the trial and error of your gameplay is pretty reminiscent of my first play ! i wasn't able to beat the final boss but i had a lot of fun
Good job! That was gripping. As a longtime Terraria player (since beta) it's kinda funny and frustrating to see how those arenas were built, but you got the job done anyway!
Impressive first playthrough and first(ish) video! Hope to see more Terraria content!
Really cool to see how you interacted with the mechanics! As a 2000+ hour player I take a lot of the good game design for granted and am glad you were able to figure things out using the guide and intuition. Thanks for making this video!
I enjoyed watching this, my first playthrough was many, many years ago, its so weird to see someone fight bosses without making arenas , good stuff!
Sir, that plant is a woman.
absolutely great video, was entertaining all the way through and the quality was really high for a first video. Honestly incredible.
What a great video! I started playing terraria a couple days ago, and watching this video was so fun, seeing everyone experiencing different things in different orders also from the quality of this video, im sure you will have much more subs in the future.
happy to be your 1000th like for the vid man you deserve it plus some for sure, great vid bro 😀
For a smaller TH-camr this was amazing. It was incredible watching you learn about the game as it went on and you destroyed it. Much love. Hope you keep putting out more❤
Always love to see a new players perspective. Good vid!
Watching you use a flail had me in stitches!
I forgot how good the first time in terraria felt.
Bravo my man, gained a sub.
I've played this game for years, but still wanted to watch this! I screamed at the screen sooo many times xD and yet thinking that this is how the person teaching me this game must have felt watching me figure it all out mistake after mistake xD Great content! You should try Sun Haven! Sort of stardew valley meets Terraria, etc!
tbh that was one of the most painful videos I've watched it in my entire life 💀
You did uber good for your first time bro. I look forward to seeing what other videos you'll make.
Good stuff! I had a laugh when you opened the chest with the ice skates and said "nothing in it" lol
as my final comment in my barrage of comments, ill say that im a bit sad you missed 4 of the optional side bosses. perhaps you can try "100 percent" completing this game in a follow up video? if you have ANY interest in finishing all the remaining bosses, do not torture yourself again. google the terraria wiki and read until your eyes bleed. this game has thousands of totally unmentioned items and weapon combinations, and im quite sad you never went back to the shimmer pool. there is a fishing boss called duke fishron that is super fun and quite challenging, and his placement on the boss tree is right around plantera level, and he gives some incredible mage weapons. as a day 1 terraria fanboy, watching you play one of my favorite games with such joy and patience was a genuinely wonderful experience. ill never forget my first time playing this masterpiece of gaming. thank you so much for having the foresight to record it!
oh and the "rare item" achievement was referring to opening the "biome" chests in the dungeon. these chests require a key that is literally a 1/1000 drop chance from any enemy in their respective biomes. given your insane luck for this run, im surprised you never found one!
If you ever play this game on the channel again, I wouldn't mind seeing a let's play on a harder difficulty. it would be interesting seeing your reaction to Items and features you may have not seen or missed.
ngl he was super smart his first run using the guide and everything, props
insane gameplay 10/10 you can craft more things with the solar fragments you can make class specific armors with them to further boost your stats and i suggest checking ur melee weapons too because there’s a a lot of super good swords you can use by mixing them together.
This was so incredibly hard to watch but you still made it entertaining. Looking forward to more videos in the future.
you are really good at the game.. undeveloped accessories for the most of the run, skipped hallowed armor, and the entire terrablade (which is helpful in melee run)... as a melee main u show me that there are other great melee weapon than terrablade swords progression lmao
You’re a real funny and chill TH-cam pls play this game more. Subbed :)
Amazing content dude, can’t wait to see more!
TLSG, Your videos are fantastic! I just had to subscribe!
43:58 this is straight up poetic, stumbling upon like the second best weapon against the destroyer in search of things to beat him with
That was really impressive going into this game blind, wow!
i wish i could go back into terraria blind, the first playthrough is always the best, glad you had fun with it ❤
This is actually is just like how I started but i never beat it this fast it took like a few years for me to actually beat it.
Man, seeing you play another game rather than snap is awesome :)
Loved the video
watching a first terraria playthrough is so nostagic, and it is interesting to see what it is like to try it out in 1.4, as i started 8 or so years back in 1.2. overall very good video, man 👍👍
Great video man im def subbing💯🔥
You did really well for not even watching anything about the game before this! It might be fun for you to try out another playthrough in Expert or Master modes, and maybe take your time a bit more, since you really blew through the game.
Also, the video is really well made! I was surprised to see you only had 2k subs, so definitely keep it up!
You made so much progress so fast its unbelievable congratulations man
So this video was amazing and it was nice seeing a new player do all this. I wanna give you some hints for melee tho xd so when you fight the lunatic cultist you still used the discs which are pretty bad after all the mechanical bosses and there much better weapons like the Terra Blade, Eye of Cthulu YoYo or the Influx Waver.
Fascinated by the graphics and addictive gameplay! Terraria is one of the best games I have ever played.
It sounds like you are having fun. I am so happy that is the case, because this game is amazing and truly worth experiencing many times due to its almost infinite replayability. keep up the good content! :)
You get a sub, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.
also, hammers are required to destroy the shadow orbs in the corruption
I remember the first time i played the game i started in probably 2016 playing just the demo for the xbox 360, i had no idea what i was doing but i was loving it the whole time. terraria left a huge impression on me and 3 years later i got a full copy of terraria for the Nintendo switch for Christmas, since then i have been playing and loving the game.
I LOVE watching newer people play Terraria! It's such an interesting experience watching them figure out mechanics!
Your first ever death in Terraria being due to a Corruption pit is such a Corruption moment.
Awesome stuff. Hope to see you doing Expert or Master mode next!
If you feel like more terraria, you should check out expert mode or even master mode. I really enjoyed seeing a new player work everything out on their own, it takes me back lol.
I just subscribed this was one of the most entertaining, terraria videos. Please make more terraria videos. They’re so entertaining and cool!
I really like new players reactions because they are so real and natural, no exaggerated reactions, false impressions. They are just enjoying for first time the game.
Man, u did a great job for a first timer. I remember my first time, when i was totaly lost in the game :D jeez. U did a good af job for sure. Try playing master mode next, because game is harder, but rewards and uogrades are better as well
Good video makes me remember some of the things i missed playing like being able to craft from chests
Jojos are definitely my favorite weapon in the game. :)
Excited to watch this, thanks, TLSG!
