I'm trying this with Chinese. Reading stories on Hanyu Tales website and listening to podcasts on Spotify

There are plenty of people who have become fluent without even speaking a word in the target language with thousands of hours of reading and listening. It has absolutely happened there is plenty of evidence and testimonials to attest to it. However, i can see how your method is effective because it's essentially trimming the fat from pure immersion so that you get exactly what want and need when you need it from the target language in a relatively short time. I by no means am saying your method doesnt work, I'm merely saying CI has absolutely been proven to work, it just takes a lot of time.

Excellent video. With 2,000 selected sentences and 10,000 repetitions? Did you really mean 10,000 reps of each sentence? Thanks

It depends on the talent of each person. There are people who can learn a language in a short time and there are others who cannot. I highly doubt that everyone can learn a second language in just three months.

@@NaturalLanguageLearning Yes, I watched it. It is not a response denying your statements, it is a comment adding my perspective. You should learn to know how to interpret words.

@@James_zai_dongbei damn stop with the crab mentality bro. Jealousy will shorten your lifespan (although with toxic people like you, go ahead and keep being jealous 😉)
