I have started doing this. I make a few short sentences of some topic like travel, food, compliments, sports etc. It is easier to recall and it gives me around 10-15 sentences per topic. These are best for conversational fluency. Imagine yourself in a bar talking to someone. These mini sentences will go a long way

Great stuff thanks! Would you give a bit of info on how\where you find correct translations of these sentences? Do you simple use AI to translate and if so what would you do in the absence of AI?
He doesn't hate it but points out that it should not be entirely relied on to learn a language. CI is good for maintaining and recalling what you have learned however initially you need to get your foot in the door in a more concrete way. Focusing on what he teaches (especially in the beginning) will make CI More effective later on. The big problem with CI is that progress will be extremely slow if it is the only thing you are doing. I have experienced this myself for example in German which I have been reading for a long time but still can't speak. I came to realize that I simply needed more vocabulary and phrases.
Lately, he makes it sound like he hates CI, but he doesn't. He just criticizes it much because it's become super trendy, so he points out the limitations. He recognizes CI is a valid part of the process, but he teaches adding drills makes you learn way faster and it's far more effective than just CI
My language lacks countable and uncountable nouns and articles, making it difficult to understand and properly use sentences like "There are cats all over the driveway." and "There is cat all over the driveway."
