I am glad now that I heard Japan is willing now to transfer the technology for MRT to Indonesia. It is better than too late. The North Semi High Speed Line from Jakarta to Surabaya is still on the table and reserved for Japan actually, but it seems that Japan is still sulking from loosing the Jakarta to Bandung HSR. Indonesia was fair to give Japan as well the same chance but it seems Japan is " slow walking" or show no interest , so we have to make a decision to switch to another country willing to cooperate with us especially ToT ( Such as South Korea, France and Germany ) in JV with INKA. So to my Japanese netizens if you are reading this, you need to move and do not stay idled. Indonesia never disrespected the Japanese Imperial family ever , not in our DNA. ✌️🙏

indonesia set a great example. infrastructure should be considered public goods and services, not private companies that aim to maximize the rate of return and stock price. there is multiplier effect spread through out the economy, looking at infrastructure as a stand alone unit is such a brainless concept

The next "President" leaders in Indonesia will be very grateful to Jokowi because of the great facilities and development he has made. I have experienced it myself that all mobility in Indonesia now moves so cleanly, neatly and quickly. For those of you who have been to Indonesia, you will definitely not forget the trains before 2014: not on time, dirty, crowded, lots of pickpockets, buskers and hawkers passing by on the trains and not all passengers could get a seat. Very different from the years since Jokowi became president, he has built a very strong foundation for a magnificent building in the future.

The old airport in Bandung will be reserved only for PT Dirgantara Indonesia , our aircraft manufacturing company.

Good Choice. Let me put it easy. How many km HSR have japan built in recent years? China have built 44000 km HSR in recent years. How about Japan? It's long time ago they built HSR in japan. Their skilled engineers and workers have retired. Two trains they built for Taiwan killed 100 people and one bridge for vietnam killed 50 people. Their newily built train for UK just got raining internally when first operation. Japan has lost a lot capability of infrastructures though they still dress good suits bowing to you. You see their failures in India and VIenam.

Jokowi terkait data kebakaran hutan Indonesia aja gak tahu, padahal katanya lulusan kehutanan. Apalagi tentang hal lainnya?
Dia itu cuma terlihat bagus akibat media dan buzzer bayaran. Makanya orang-orang yang baru mengenal Indonesia langsung fanatik buta.

Lah ini ada pemimpin yang katanya lulusan kehutanan, tetapi terkait data kebakaran hutan aja dia gak tahu, apalagi terkait hal lainnya? Yang sebenarnya bisa kerja dia atau anak buah? Pemimpin kok tugas nya cuma jalan-jalan tiap hari meresmikan proyek? Itu pemimpin atau TH-camr?
