Robbie, I would like to make a suggestion. Maybe you didn't do this to just keep things simple? However, I tried this and it adds a bit more to the sound. Right before you change from the "C" chord to the "F" chord, drop down the pinky and play the "C7" chord for a few strums. It seems to tie the "C" and "F" chords together.
