I love this tune! I used to sing and play this all the time. Due to a head injury I need a cheat sheet on the lyrics now. Pisses me off! Thank you for teaching us the proper way to play this sir!

I'll be 60 next month...saw Hank Jr. in '86 in Worcester MA. Waylon opened for him! What a great show, Hank and Waylon played the whole 2nd set together. Great music!

Thank you, great easy song to practice strumming, however the only problem I'm having is the pick slipping out of my finger.
It is a good and easy one for that! Hope you can hold on to it a bit better!
Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the middle of the pick. It will greatly improve your ability to hold on to it. Been doing this for years.
