(it’s also something i’ve been thinking deeply about for a long time) Romans 12 is one of my favourite passages as i’ve been studying sacrifice for the past several years… it’s interesting to note what’s plural and what’s singular. Offer your (many) bodies as a (one singular) living sacrifice. Paul is not encouraging individuals to be individual sacrifices, rather he is saying that as a church, we become a living sacrifice together as a united body
