    At last, someone intelligent enough to realise that people want to hear the lead tones possible! Useful, thanks, buying one!

    FANTASTIC! I've been waitlisted for one of these for a while, but didn't expect it to sound THIS good. Great demo: got a very clear sense of the modes and you took us through knob tweaks and even the fabled special modes. Thanks!

    I read somewhere that the enclosure is ABS plastic (something you'll find a lot of in your car, designed to take high impact). I know some folks are worried that these Behringer pedals will break, and probably they will if you're an animal, but I'd say that what is most likely to break is the switch itself, which also happens with pedals in a metal enclosure (I've an old Boss Super Phaser PH-2 that broke this way). Anyway, these Behringer pedals are great value for your hard earned bucks, I own three already and they get the job done pretty well.

    What I enjoy very much is to get a really fuzzy tone going then dial up the reverb. I'm doing this while jamming to a trip-hop backing track (a Portishead copy) and it sounds really vintage and cool, like something out of the 60s or early 70s.

    I dropped a few drops of super glue in the 1.5 position as an always-on setting. Best $20 I've ever spent on a pedal

    Nice Demo - Clever-riff to compare between rhythm and lead playing. Subscribed.

    Neither setting is based on a Big Muff. The original super fuzz has a fuzz 1-2 switch which scoops out mids and adds gain. Just an FYI.

      Thanks, I've been corrected on that a few times since I made this. Ha ha!
      Very strange that the source I was using for reference, got it so incredibly wrong!

    W the 2 bonus modes, gives a total of 5 tones… one short of JHS Muffuletta. Might have to pull the trigger on this bad boy!😝

    Been wanting a good fuzz pedal for a while now. The vintage ones are just too much for me to justify buying. 30 bucks? sold.
    Then you hit me with that FAT BONUS: 2.5 jack white mode. Cannot wait for it to come

    It's a fantastic pedal, but mode 2 has nothing to do with a Pi. The original Superfuzz had a switch labelled "Tone" and modes 1 and 2 on here (and on the Boss version) are just the two positions of this tone switch.

    • @PedalExperiments
      @PedalExperiments  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@PedalExperiments Well, it kind of has that scooped sound, but it's still a lot more abrasive than Muff and has that octave thing going on.
