  • In this video, I explored the possibilities of each of the Five Great Knights' (Ogrim, Ze'mer, Dryya, Isma, and Hegemol) eventual fate, looking at what we know from the game and adding my own speculations.

    I believe Ze'mer was well aware of how deadly the traitor mantises are, that they would surely kill her before she even thought of delivering the flower herself, let alone got to the grave
    But surely if such a small creature could pass through the ruins of this land unscathed, then perhaps they could do her this last mercy

      I dont think, Ze'mer was afraid of the traitors, beacause she seem to be pretty strong, but i think there was a reason that she cant get out, prob the infection

    Ogrim actually didn’t go to the waterways to protect himself he actually was exiled by the king from hallownest. This is emphasized throughout the game and sheo even says…
    “There was fierce Dryya, kindly isma, mysterious Ze’mer, mighty Hegemol and… the other one.” The reason for why he is in hallownest still and why he was exiled is unclear.

      Ogrim have a dialogue where he talked about the creation of the vessels and commented that what the pale king did was cruel. It is possible that disagreeing with or opposing the plan was what got him exiled

    I noticed that Isma was actually merged with the plants, her mask was turned into some sort of fibers where said mask touched the plants.

    My best guess about Hegemol is that he was already dead when Maggot got the armor because after you defeat failed champion Maggot at one point says “sleeping there” which might meant he was dead probably infected or something else…

    • @lethequin
      @lethequin ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Ogrim sleeps and he is completely infection-free.

    • @aydenrozzelle7691

      @@lethequin I think it was the knight who saved him actually. The radiance usually promises a bugs desire. Ogrims desire was to restore hallownest and the five great knights. The knight beats the sense into him and allows him to move on, or at least wake him up.

      Or Hegemol could have been just sleeping around
      I'm not hating ! I'm just saying other things that could be possible
      He could just be sleeping without his armour and the Maggot took it and Hegemol could have died because he was unprotected or he could still be around hiding somewhere or trying to make another armour or just something to protect him
      He could indeed have died when the Maggot found him yes
      Or maybe he killed Hegemol in his sleep

    • @EaterOfGeese
      @EaterOfGeese 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm assuming hegemol was just sleeping and the maggot surprise-attacked him, because if hegemol was infected, it would have taken over the maggot too

    • @Victini7472
      @Victini7472 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@EaterOfGeese how would a harmless tiny maggot defeat someone giant like hegemol tho? also the infection did indeed take over the maggot, maybe not fully, but you can still see the infection come out of the false knight when it dies
      also something to note is that maggots feed on decaying corpses, so perhaps hegemol had already passed, from like the infection, and the maggot just ate his head off and controlled the rest of his body

    I know this is really late, but I wanted to throw my thoughts on Ogrim. I believe Ogrim was exiled because he prioritized guarding Isma's grove, possibly after her death, instead of guarding Hallownest. This is why he was never bitter about his exile and remained loyal. His exile was never meant to be a punishment, it was meant to be a blessing. Isma's dream nail dialogue indicates that there was no time for a final goodbye. There is heavy implications that Isma and Ogrim were lovers after all. The White Defender's dream nail dialogue, Ogrim saying that Isma is a good judge of character and that he is unworthy to be in his presence after the Knight received her blessing, and how Ogrim even mumbles Isma in his sleep.

    • @lifebloodcore2106
      @lifebloodcore2106  2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I personally don’t think that Ogrim was exiled but rather he chose to leave, but your theory has some validity too of course

    • @aydenrozzelle7691
      @aydenrozzelle7691 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Ogrim chose to leave. I theorized isma was planning on flooding hallownest with her acid blight.
      Ogrim helps by turning off the pipe which recedes the acid.
      The, "it's too late" line was her telling ogrim that restoring hallownest won't work. As we see he wishes to do in the white defender fight.
      Though he still offers to help in her plan.
      Btw this explains why all the guards are down there.

    I know I‘m late, but the seer actually doesn‘t die/ move on into the dream realm. She becomes a lumafly, and flies away. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ze‘mer actually did become the mask shard she leaves behind.

    I doubt Sheo's model of Hegemol was his body underneath. Hegemol was probably pretty small considering a mere maggot could pilot the entire suit of armor. I do think that he was in charge of Pilgrim's way and the crossroads. What would be cool is if you could meet Hegemol in Silksong in a secret area maybe.

    i‘m very late but i think isma was a child of unn and/or the white lady (she was at least a moskin).
    The only acid we find in the game is either in greenpath and the sorounding areas or near isma‘s Grove so she might have been unn‘s child.
    Isma could also be a plant (that would explain the Grove and the tear) and the only other being in hallownest that is a plant is the white lady.
    So if isma is a child of unn and the white lady that would explain why she is loyal to the royal family ,her being a plant (only maybe) and her acid skills.

      The white lady (and possibly monomon) stole unn's territory. I don't think Unn's children would be very loyal to the pale king and Unn definitely did not have a child with the white lady.

    I’m a bit late, but here’s how I think Isma died. If you look at Isma’s dead body, it looks like their body is fused with the plants, as Isma’s mask seems to be melted into the plants. My theory is that they got infected, but they weren’t fully under the Radiance’s control, like Myla. Isma obviously knew that they didn’t have much time left, and I’m guessing they didn’t want to be under the Radiance’s control, so they possibly used their plant skills to grow vines within themselves at a rapid speed to kill themself.

  • @karl7699
    @karl7699 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Isma was probably some sort of plant bug with plant abilities and hence the reason we see plants around her. It’s either she died and became a huge plant or this is a part of her life cycle hence the reason she has a fruit budding from her. Could be the knight even has one of ismas species developing in them due to it being a fruit probably meant for the ongoing of her species once one of her species dies.

    Hear me out:
    What if Hegem quit being a knight and traveled away and is still alive, like Team Cherry suggests, and he could be a character in Silksong
    Anything’s possible

  • @frenchbaguette817
    @frenchbaguette817 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I believe Isma was a plant all along and maybe was gonna turn into a tree to protect the others because she got infected and she knew about it deeply well and wanted to tell Ogrim about it but, as she said, there was no time left. The tear would be the last one that ran down her mask as she transformed and therfore, died
    It would explain why the white Lady didn't turn into a tree herself
    Or maybe she wasn't infected and just was about to die for mysterious reasons (maybe a disease) and when her type dies, they merge with the rest of nature or can't control themselves from growing, she knew her time was coming and didn't have time to tell Ogrim but he knew this place was important to her so he kept it without entering because he respected her

    My headcanon about Dryya is that she's a Root like the White Lady. She's just some sort of smaller, more mobile species of Root, and likely went to Hallownest with the White Lady to be her body guard, either because they knew each other already or because she was royalty in their homeland.
