Cool brother. You are the 1st person I've known to use the belt trick. I've seen it recommended but never done. 👍👍😏

Thank's brother. It was a lot of fun. I'm going to try it with a thicker limb that will bend, and mabye make the handle like I was saying. Thanks for watching.😃💥

Ranger Survival and Fieldcraft did the saw blade in the belt, and it's something that's actually looked for at security checkpoints. At the courthouse in the county I live in, you have to remove your belt before going thru the metal detector.

@@baronedipiemonte3990 yep I remember seeing his video survival stuff, I did see him use a saw with bandana or shemagh in one of his vids. He has a great channel. Thank's for stopping by.

@@baronedipiemonte3990 missed that episode. He's got good content. Here in Tulsa County you have to remove belts also. Did jury duty last spring

@@OKBushcraft That can get aggravating. Thankfully I'm excused from jury duty. Thanks for subscribing. I added you as well.

Those Swiss ponchos were designed to be "capes". I purchased 5 brand new for $10 12 yrs ago. They definitely aren't as versatile as the flat American style poncho. I hope the Swiss transitioned to something better...

cool vid. The belt idea was great! how about useing ranger bands to hold the saw on the belt . as for a little saw I have a 5 inch ust folding saw that has a sheath that I carry for cutting shooting lanes out of a tree stand . you wolud be surprised how big of a log you can cut with it. to me new gear that works better than the old gear is not a cop out just working smarter not harder.

Ranger bands would be good, also with ranger bands I would have some fire starter to being rubber. I can say silky saws are the best, nothing in my opinion can compare to them. When I first bought one which was the silky F150 I was absolutely amazed. Have you ever used a silky saw ray?. They are amazing saws. Thank's for watching appreciate it much.

I have not had a silky saw yet. I have a lot of hours behind a arborist pole saw that cuts on the pull stroke .they can chew some wood. I bet that are well made since everyone loves them.

The bowsaw and bucksaw are two totally different designs. The branch bowsaw performs pretty poorly when compared to the bucksaw but it is still better than trying to use the blade alone.

I will have to try the buck saw sometime mabye. But I'm going to try the bow saw with a thicker branch and see if it does better though. Thank's for watching
