I am looking for a fifty right now and the Evasion 32 is high on the list. I solo sail most of the time here in Brittany. This looks like a real bang-on sailing channel, I like the style. 1st time i hear so much good music in a sailing vlog! That's cool....

Soo glad you liked the video. The evasion is a very cool little 50 but bear in mind it's very light about 8 tons so its very rolly at anchor. We now have a heavier boat and the difference is astonishing. Hope this helps. Cheers mate

Love your sailing watch ! What type is it?

Is just a regular Garmin Fenix 6x the new Fenix 7x has more cool things including connection to Garmin navigation instruments, autopilot Control, tacking help. And even a anchor alarm. But still too expensive for my wallet 😅

LOL, good one! It's very nice to see you publish this as many sailors will have a similar experience. If the mizzen would have been down, maybe you wouldn't have drifted with your stern? Anyway, nice of you to share this :)

I have a Beneteau Evasion 32 as well. Not sure I could survive without its bow thruster. But those last few feet as you berth with a long keel are critical. A fine balance between enough speed to maintain steerage but not so fast you can not stop the 8.5 net tonnage momentum as you come onto the pontoon.
