Great tips! Another I would recommend is to designate certain areas of the base to different functions. Maybe one could be a fabrication/utility room, with fabricators, a modification station, battery/power cell chargers, etc. You could do all of this while still maintaining a nice atmosphere with wall planters or potted plants, but I would save the really nice decoration for a leisure room. One with a bed, picture frames, shelves with the occasional nik-naks you find along your journey. Overall fantastic video though, great work.
a cool trick i found while messing with commands(unfortunately you need commands) is to use the item command with plants in the acu. you can place some of the ambient plants not able to be used in planters and generally make it look much more lush
