I really want to thank everybody who stopped by to look at the video and make a comment and send love and good thoughts Gina‘s way. So my darling sister Gina died last year almost to the day that I’m posting this. She was diagnosed with a cancer that normally kills people very quickly, and we were lucky that she was relatively well for a long time even through a lot of hardships of chemo and radiation therapy. She travelled as much as she could, she had a wonderful time with her kids and her grandkids just doing amazing activities and making memories for them. I’ll always be grateful to have a wonderful sister like Gina. During the time that she was trying to deal with all of this, we also lost one of our brothers, David. It was also through cancer but he died very quickly after diagnosis. I know that Gina was a great help to him in his last weeks. And I know that she was a big help to all of us across our lives. Just by way of context for explaining why it took so long to post this. I was just in too much grief to be honest, I knew I had the video but I couldn’t post it. I told her kids and grandkids about it and they weren’t quite readythen either. I’m glad we took the time, it’s nice to spread out the love that we all feel for Gina.
I have incurable cancer and I could live for years yet, but cannot say I have had a great life. Thank you for sharing her video and her story. It’s a wakeup call. I need to start living, despite being born disabled and having serious health issues I need to maybe get outside in nature more and enjoy the sun and fresh air instead of wasting away in bed. ❤️
@@iSheree I’m so sorry…you deserve whatever brings you ease. Just before Gina was diagnosed we had planned to go on a long road trip across Western US. Funnily enough we never would’ve made it because the pandemic happened the following month and Australia’s borders weren’t open. Even so, she managed several times to make it across the country to see mum, in the middle of her getting treatment. And she organised all of these amazing activities for her grandkids but it was definitely based on what she could do, and everybody understood. Later she travelled across to see David, our brother, when he was first in hospital and not long before he died. I’m with you, I hope that if I know I don’t have long that I do what Gina did. Just really enjoy herself and enjoy others. But also you just deserve to have whatever ease you can manage.
@@sandyosullivan I am Aussie too! I cannot afford to travel but my partner’s parents have a holiday home 5 hours away that we can go to. I need to find a gap in medical appointments and just go! I think you should be living your life how you want to now. It’s too short and we are not promised tomorrow. ❤️

I'm 58. Ovarian cancer diagnosis Sept 30th 2022. Just had my 6-weekly tumour marker test and a 6-month CT scan. No evidence of recurrence. I didn't expect to live very long after the diagnosis and i can relate to a lot. I wouldn't be this held together. I'm not ready to say that I'm ready. I hope her paint was truly peaceful, free of all pain and anxiety.

I was just thinking of my deceased brother who left us suddenly and unexpectedly in June of 2022. When I looked up at the screen, I saw your video. What an amazing person and bright soul and vibrant heart. Thank you for reminding me of the good times, and thank you for adding a little light back during a moment of darkness we all feel at times. I'm glad Gina found her way to me, I've been unable to walk for 3 years, but I'm alive . She was in such a good humor, facing death seemingly unafraid and my depression lifted that day I watched her. I can't imagine losing 2 siblings back to back to effing cancer. PLEASE for the rest of ur family , get checked often, early, etc . Bless all of you . Gina sure helped me, a year after u lost her and I didn't even know her!! I'm glad you all are sharing her with the world because she has such a happy spirit and it definitely touched me today thank you so much and bless your family for all the losses that you've had Daria ~🌹❣️

You show us how we should appreciate what surrounds us and we need to notice the things big and small, because no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Thank you for loving the precious things, God gave you in this life. You will be dearly missed and loved.
