I guess you didn't know this, but you could use Face Slam and Disembowel to one shot the Special Forces guys. It's risky when they group up, but when it's just one or two guys and you have medium to high health it is an efficient way of dealing with them.

I just did 5 and 7 day in one day on my 1st try on my ps5 so many close calls with kent respawns and soilder paranoia like seriously i was turning every corner every time i heard "FOUND HIM!" but i was screaming and kicking when i made it the amout of luck i had throughout that playthrough was unholy and its jarring to see how much hell other people went through to do this achievement im so grateful i played my cards right and aced that shit in one sitting but that doesn't mean i'll 100% the game not after the hell ive went through today fuck that it'll be awhile before i get back in the dead rising saddle again or just zombie games period too much stress but so much gratitude

Good job, what makes it much harder ? Is it not that you have done it already so you knew exactly what to do? As I feel like if I did the OG now I'd probably cruise it. Only difference would be the time it takes to do it/easier soldiers
@@houseofsten so, yes I will admit I’ve done both. And yes, adding the soldiers are definitely a added problem. However, I will say that it is meant to get the zombie annihilator achievement. Since the new game gives you a comic that gives you unlimited ammo, and you can easily get a rocket launcher (not to mention the mega buster) with an AoE effect, you can kill the soldiers in 1 shot around corners with infinite ammo. Compound this with the new controls that make moving with guns easy, you can kill anyone and anything without taking damage pretty easily. I finished 7 day survivor last night, on stream, in 1 hour and 56 minutes with these strategies. My closest brush with death was going to the security room a group of 4 soldiers caught me off guard. I hope you go back and do the 14 hour achievement on the original and tell me then if you still feel the same.

I did all the achievements on PS4 which was 9/10 difficulty for me and playing with randoms there is two trophies were you have to beat act 5 and 6 in no hope difficulty and good luck with random RNG cards.
I was in high school when the game first came out. I never fully completed the achievements, for so many reasons. One kid spent 2 months trying to beat infinity mode alone. He would try every Saturday and Sunday due to it taking over 12 hours. He tried doing it after school for a few hours, pause it, start again the next night. The 360 would freeze though. Well, he was pretty close to getting the achievement over a month in and he got the red ring of death....Another 360 later he finally got it. I can't imagine how he will react if he see's the Deluxe Remaster haha.

Soldiers are vulnerable to disembowel
I think they would be good for the Melee achievment on them but when there is a group of them would they not just mess you up?

that happened to me!!! the game crash on the ps5 same time and day and it's soul destroying but came back few days later and finally completed it 🙌 🎉
