Can you make a playlist specifically for the RE Achievement series. I would like to play them while I sleep on a loop which would be very lucrative for you.
I've been on a random kick watching achievement completion channels and one thing I really like about this one is not only do you not know all the elite veteran tricks, you're playing through these games for the very first time which is very admirable you're aiming to master them first time. (true, you're using guides where needed but that's a-okay by me)
Thanks man. I love doing the first run as naturally as possible and get the proper experience, as well as doing it on at least normal difficulty. Love a bit of a challenge. Typically, i'd only use guides for collectables or if I'm completely stumped. I just hate when you miss 1 thing and end up having to do like a full playthrough just to make up for it, so I try to avoid that as best as I can. I'm glad you're enjoying the content and videos. I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil, so much so that I'd sell my soul to bang clai- ehem i mean to be friends with the characters because they're awesome. I mustered all my skill to achieve S+ in RE2 remake on hardcore and S+ in RE4 VR. Im happy with that. What you did is totally nuts. Hats down, this deserves respect.

I just got 100% completion on RE2 today, S+ Leon A and Claire A and completed all the Tofus. Really amazing game, it's the first RE game I've completed and I have only played the demo of Revelations 2 and Evil Within which I wasn't a fan of. You did a great job covering this game, I'll stay tuned for the rest of the series.

Ghost / 4th survivors were the hardest for me but that's because i went in totally blind and didn't want to use a guide. Great video. I think you’ll find RE3R to be a nice break whenever you do get around to it. Edit: I should clarify that I meant that the achievements in RE3R are the easiest in the series imo.
The portable safes get easier if you assign the buttons a 1-8 number, then you just need to repeat the button positions as you learn the light positions
already working on my 4 plat, started with assisted to just figure out how things work, next run i did something for a really powerful weapon, doing every collectible and misc achievement, and so far im mostly done in two playthroughs
Great stuff! Are you enjoying it ? I need to get in the habit of doing assisted first or easy to learn the game etc but I like the challenge of trying to do my first playthrough on a tougher difficulty. Although you wouldn't think it with how much I cry on haha. What game are you doing next?
My opinion may change when I get round to it tbf. I'm just going off the reviews and the 2-3 games I tried to play of it which were just extremely laggy and buggy to the point it was unplayable :( Granted that was like 2 years ago Going to do a tier list once all the games are done so we will see what changes :D Hopefully get to meet you all when I get round to playing it
One of my favorite games ever made. There was nothing better then playing mastermind and killing all 4 survivors in the second room. The skill cap was insanely high and the wide variety of mastermind skills made building decks pure joy.

The Licker that attacks after you blow the C4 will always immediately attack you when it first appears, I always just run into the library to dodge him.

This was actually the first game I ever got platinum on, and I had so much fun unlocking all of the achievements. Idk if it’s becuz I played this game so much but getting all of the achievements was really easy for me.
Loving this series so far. Don't forget to do the og Resident Evil 4 alongside the Remake version. And Don't forget Code: Veronica (considering your doing Revelations 1 + 2) IK it seems like much 😂

Oh is there? I was struggling and tried looking one up but they said the puzzle changes each time you open it so i just had to try and do it myself haha. took me like 20min
@@houseofsten Yeah i just looked someone saying it's always the same things to do even if it's not exactly the same you can do like 3 moves that are always the same and then just align them (that part is slightly different for everyone but atleast you know where the cube are and it's a no brainer)

Honestly I didn't really mind completing this game. Yes a lot of it was busy work and yes the ghost survivors do kinda suck as a form of bonus dlc... But all the different challenges they give you are actually tracked in the menu unlike say how re7 did it, and it helps that just like the original re2 even on hardcore they _shower_ you in diverse ammo. See hardcore outside of the ink ribbons only cuts the pickups in half and cut the crafting, however to circumvent this you can use large grade gunpowder as this is still locked to it's double the size. You can't do this for magnums but _damn_ is it effective for the shotgun
It definitely has been the most enjoyable. It is a game I will be keeping installed and revisit from time to time to do casual runs and maybe go for all the unlockables on the game. from the comments, people have been dropping a lot of hints and tips. its cool how everyone has their own kind of way how they managed to get through hardcore and had little techniques etc. I made the mistake of just instantly crafting with the gunpowders instead of maybe stacking them and waiting for the right opportunity to make Shotgun shells or using Large ones to get more of it. What RE game are you playing at the moment?
you called the west 1f office "stars office" like ten times despite the names on the desks on the puzzle you solved clearly not being stars members, the stars office is the upstairs office with wesker's , jill's, chris', and barry's desk.

Its 24 hours prior to the events at the start of the game, by the time Carlos goes to the RPD it could of just been an hour or so before Leon got there for all we know. I don't think it give an exact time that Leon arrives and what time Carlos arrives. who knows! :D Either way he is a trooper!
I literally tell you I used a guide for achievements im stuck on, so i dont miss collectables, files and avoid having to do all 4 playthroughs again. Try listening lad 👍 thanks for the Oscar though

It's the way you act surprised when you uncannily pop obscure achievements one after another on a supposedly blind playthrough. The Mr X one where you take a single shot at his hat and run away before dodging him looked a little sus but y'know, not a hard one to get. However, the Berkin fights, firstly the one when you're knifing Berkin on your first encounter and get grabbed, and then when you do the puzzle fight with him later and you just so happened to get him to go down after pressing the button for the swinging container once, like, C'mon dude. After that I just assumed you were using a guide on the first run. I mean, maybe it's just the way the video is edited. Perhaps you had multiple attempts and we're just seeing the moment where you "accidentally" popped those 'chievos, but the way it looks is like you're pretending to stumble into them on your first try. Alternatively you perhaps started using a guide mid run and forgot to mention it in the video after stating it was a blind run. Whatever the case I still love the videos. Just thought these moments where amusing. Also yw for the nomination. Look forward to seeing more RE
@Glazenburg blind in terms of the story, puzzles , fights etc yes unless stated otherwise when doing the achievement. There is like 6-7 achievements. I explicitly say i am using a guide as I don't know where it is, don't want to miss things, or have to repeat a load of playthroughs. The natural reaction was to shoot Mr x in the head, yes. The games has been out a long time, so I have through this time seen shorts or random videos of Mr. X spawning and the way people dodge him, I can't control what I've already seen. The birkin fight, you can see i stun him with a flash and use the knife as long as possible until it breaks, then he grapples me. I don't see why simply using the prompt that pops up to counter him is sus 😂 this is after already dying to him like 3-4 times after running out of ammo. The crane fight you can see how much ammo I go through and use al the flamethrower on him until leon gives the crane prompt. Don't particularly see why that would be so sus 😂 Alot of parts took multiple attempts and some achievements it is just a case of showing it when it unlocks. The video is very long as it is so where i can I try to cut out waffle or parts that don't add any value. The "pretending to stumble Into them" is just the opinion you've formed based on a few seconds of a clip. At no point am I flexing or saying " I done this first time or by accident" of course there are some achievements or trophy i am aware of that need to be done, I'm simply showing you the achievement unlocking. Which is part of my journey unlocking them, which is what this channel is about You're free to speculate, form your own opinions or whatever. I'm not here to convince you this or that. I've been open and transparent about using guides where I had to, even saying I use a speedrun when doing the mop up run and stuff to make sure I hit those achievements but I guess the youtube comment police can never be satisfied 🚔 😂 Not having a go at you or anything, just explaining things from my perspective, appreciate you watching

BTW The Shotgun has a 70% damage REDUCTION against Birkin, it's basically worthless against him, only good for one shotting zombie heads.

Erm, I don't think I'd do the originals as videos. I don't think they have achievements as far as I'm aware. I would probably do a fun, casual playthrough on stream/twitch sometime to chill out with.

This was actually the first game I ever got platinum on, and I had so much fun unlocking all of the achievements. Idk if it’s becuz I played this game so much but getting all of the achievements was really easy for me.

Yeah, it really is a true shame for sure. The Ghost Survivor stuff was cool...but a 2-3 hour dlc showing how the RPD fell would have been epic!

Oh is there? I was struggling and tried looking one up but they said the puzzle changes each time you open it so i just had to try and do it myself haha. took me like 20min
@@houseofsten Yeah i just looked someone saying it's always the same things to do even if it's not exactly the same you can do like 3 moves that are always the same and then just align them (that part is slightly different for everyone but atleast you know where the cube are and it's a no brainer)

Honestly I didn't really mind completing this game.
Yes a lot of it was busy work and yes the ghost survivors do kinda suck as a form of bonus dlc...
But all the different challenges they give you are actually tracked in the menu unlike say how re7 did it, and it helps that just like the original re2 even on hardcore they _shower_ you in diverse ammo.
See hardcore outside of the ink ribbons only cuts the pickups in half and cut the crafting, however to circumvent this you can use large grade gunpowder as this is still locked to it's double the size.
You can't do this for magnums but _damn_ is it effective for the shotgun
It definitely has been the most enjoyable. It is a game I will be keeping installed and revisit from time to time to do casual runs and maybe go for all the unlockables on the game.
from the comments, people have been dropping a lot of hints and tips. its cool how everyone has their own kind of way how they managed to get through hardcore and had little techniques etc.
I made the mistake of just instantly crafting with the gunpowders instead of maybe stacking them and waiting for the right opportunity to make Shotgun shells or using Large ones to get more of it.

you called the west 1f office "stars office" like ten times despite the names on the desks on the puzzle you solved clearly not being stars members, the stars office is the upstairs office with wesker's , jill's, chris', and barry's desk.

Hang on.... Mavin got bit in RE3 which is 24 hours before RE2... hes been holding his bloody chest wound and fighting off turning into a zombie for 24 hours...
Its 24 hours prior to the events at the start of the game, by the time Carlos goes to the RPD it could of just been an hour or so before Leon got there for all we know. I don't think it give an exact time that Leon arrives and what time Carlos arrives. who knows! :D Either way he is a trooper!

It's the way you act surprised when you uncannily pop obscure achievements one after another on a supposedly blind playthrough. The Mr X one where you take a single shot at his hat and run away before dodging him looked a little sus but y'know, not a hard one to get. However, the Berkin fights, firstly the one when you're knifing Berkin on your first encounter and get grabbed, and then when you do the puzzle fight with him later and you just so happened to get him to go down after pressing the button for the swinging container once, like, C'mon dude. After that I just assumed you were using a guide on the first run.
I mean, maybe it's just the way the video is edited. Perhaps you had multiple attempts and we're just seeing the moment where you "accidentally" popped those 'chievos, but the way it looks is like you're pretending to stumble into them on your first try. Alternatively you perhaps started using a guide mid run and forgot to mention it in the video after stating it was a blind run.
Whatever the case I still love the videos. Just thought these moments where amusing. Also yw for the nomination. Look forward to seeing more RE
@Glazenburg blind in terms of the story, puzzles , fights etc yes unless stated otherwise when doing the achievement. There is like 6-7 achievements. I explicitly say i am using a guide as I don't know where it is, don't want to miss things, or have to repeat a load of playthroughs.
The natural reaction was to shoot Mr x in the head, yes. The games has been out a long time, so I have through this time seen shorts or random videos of Mr. X spawning and the way people dodge him, I can't control what I've already seen.
The birkin fight, you can see i stun him with a flash and use the knife as long as possible until it breaks, then he grapples me. I don't see why simply using the prompt that pops up to counter him is sus 😂 this is after already dying to him like 3-4 times after running out of ammo.
The crane fight you can see how much ammo I go through and use al the flamethrower on him until leon gives the crane prompt. Don't particularly see why that would be so sus 😂
Alot of parts took multiple attempts and some achievements it is just a case of showing it when it unlocks. The video is very long as it is so where i can I try to cut out waffle or parts that don't add any value.
The "pretending to stumble Into them" is just the opinion you've formed based on a few seconds of a clip. At no point am I flexing or saying " I done this first time or by accident" of course there are some achievements or trophy i am aware of that need to be done, I'm simply showing you the achievement unlocking. Which is part of my journey unlocking them, which is what this channel is about
You're free to speculate, form your own opinions or whatever. I'm not here to convince you this or that. I've been open and transparent about using guides where I had to, even saying I use a speedrun when doing the mop up run and stuff to make sure I hit those achievements but I guess the youtube comment police can never be satisfied 🚔 😂
