@Teddy James That has more to do with the script than the actor. Angelheart was terrifying because it had less supernatural elements, more nuance, and seemed closer to being real. I will agree that the devil in that one was way more terrifying. Actually, the whole scenario was the most horror I've ever seen. Imagine discovering that you had FORGOTTEN that you sold your soul, being innocent, believing that you are good and discovering that your new personality must pay for the actions of your old personality. Yeah.. that's real horror.
If he was a host for a horror anthology series, I'd totally watch it.

I hate to say anything negative but I always thought he had such a charming smile and now it looks like he's physically unable to smile and that makes me sad. I know I shouldn't feel bad though, we should be happy he's still in this world with us.

I would like to ask McDowell about what the times of his bold heyday were like and how they gave him opportunities like Clockwork and Caligula, and how he viewed the projects overall and what he thought of their impact while making them, after they were released, and today. They have overt sexual and violent content, even fixation, but they were also expressive art.

I met Tim! Unfortunately there was alot of technical difficulties so he couldn't hear me well. Even on the 3rd attempt (which fanmio was kind enough to let me try meet him after it didn't work the 1st or 2nd time) I still feel like the chat could've been alot better if there was no difficulties. I'm glad I got to meet him though. He's a lovely man ❤️

@Lady Trek2space I'm struggling to think of people to whom the descriptor "living legend" has been attached who were not performers of some kind or another. I think it's deserved in Tim Curry's case because his performances have not only been influential on other actors but also on the audience. From the 70s to now, his flamboyance was a source of strength for people in terms of expressing a different kind of sexual image or simply a certain kind of wit. When you have that position, you're not just an actor who turned up and did their job; your existence becomes meaningful to people in enough ways that you have a special status, and the audience can feel that. If you don't, fine; he's not a living legend for you. But when other people do, that's no longer arguable.

Nobody will or has ever applied "living legend" to a postman or a cleaner or any of those other people (and for the record, I worked as a cleaner for many years). The "legend" bit really is the operative term here. Legends are famous. And the rest of your word-salad is pure bollocks, an incredible amount of wriggling for just a fucking phrase: a figure of speech. Dear God.

A very talented person who could sing, dance, act and pull roles of comedy and seriousness. Few like him today among the new comers and somewhat regulars.
I would say his speech has IMPROVED SIGNIFICANTLY, given his stroke and being wheelchair-bound. Although his voice is still a little hoarse, he’s talking a lot faster, and more smoothly than before. Overall, I’m amazed! ❤️🤟😉
Mr. Curry was, is, and always be Pennywise. No one else even comes close to that performance. To this day I am terrified of clowns, thank you for that Mr. Curry. The simplicity of the original Pennywise along with that iconic voice is what makes the clown so terrifying.

One of the greatest actors ever.
Loved in him The Muppet Treasure Island, Annie, Rocky Horror (obviously!), Legend & Clue! He's a legend - for some reason I've never actually seen IT (I must make that on my next film to watch). Shame to see him wheelchair bound, but glad he's looking much better these days. He always had a certain presence on screen that was just awesome.
I had no idea Tim had a major stroke back in 2012 as the last film I saw him in he was OK, this is very sad what has happened to him but I have to say he actually looks rather well and i am pretty shocked that he is 73 years old as to my eyes he only looks around 60 at most, I hope he continues to make good progress and god bless

Hollywood stars aren't exactly given out. The actor is nominated by whoever, and basically they get put on a waiting list. It also has to be paid for by the person nominating.

Super underrated actor. Hes done everything! from stage acting to horror films and comedys , action-adventure movies.... He was even a singer in the 1970s to the early 80s before doing voice over work for games and cartoons.

Personally I have the best memories of Tim curry from home alone 2. That was my favorite character he played.
Muppet Treasure Island was his crowning role for me. He's even said it was one of his favorite roles.

he still has that amazing personality and laugh even after all these years.id love to even hear him just do audio books to hear the sound of his voice in new and different things.plus he never married or had kids but has had more than probably half the cult crowd want him.no matter what i will always love this man for such quality performances and his way of entertainment there will only ever be one tim curry.
