I'm a woman but have had exactly the same experiences with friends and relationships. We do need more help and support in this area because we do have a lot to offer if extended a little grace and others put away their egos occassionally. You deserve a life as we all do. General counselling doesn't help at all. It's UNDERSTANDING we need. I can relate to frustration with God. I think it's awesome that you're nursing. You can prove we really do care and have empathy and as you say, you are able to comfort others on the spectrum. I pray the Most High will help all of us no matter our situation. He works best through our weakness and we can glorify His Holy name more. Halleluyah!

I can relate so much to this tbh. I look back on times I was exceptional mean to people to just get them to leave me alone. I got bullied for a period and later I just kept being defensive with any new person, male or female.

thanks man for the Godly perspective. im 36, and thinking i might be on the spectrum. although not diagnosed, looking at it through those lens is helping me understand my past... I believe God has healed me and grown me from this even though i didnt know about it!

Christian girl with Asperger’s here and I experienced the exact same thing. Being normal has always been my desire. I have had no romantic relationships and different special interests. However, I have lost friends. Thank you for sharing.

See you in hell, mate. We are the ones that won’t make it. There’s no place in heaven for us both

My special interests are tower clocks (and I've seen that one in other Aspies) and I am into classical organ music always loved creative writing. I have dealt with the same fear of rejection that you have dealt with. I am an Apostolic Pentecostal Christian and for the first couple years that I was in church I had trouble with conversations and such but God has helped me with this much like you. I tend to be a go for the jugular type as well but God has helped me with that as well and softened my heart. I was very legalistic for a long time and Jesus I know is working on me and changing my heart. God has helped to embrace who I am as an Aspie and like you I know that he loves me and I'm a child of God because I struggled and thought that God hated me for a long time. Same here God is teaching me patience and how to be compassionate and understanding with people. Always been a computer geek as well I love computers. I am also into like how things work always have been and maybe that's why I've been so good with my job which is testing hardware components on computers

2 days ago, I discovered I probably have Asperger’s. It’s answering so many strange things in my life. Being a Christian was always a huge struggle in the church-going context. The emotionally-charged atmosphere made me feel like an absolute alien. I would constantly question my faith because of how great the experiential disparity between myself and those around me. I thought I was just a selfish jerk for HATING being in the concert and desperately wanting to sit in the lobby. I hope the American Christian community becomes more aware about us.

Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins!
    Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂🙂

Terrible advice, “just repent”, sure, just repent, just forcefully turn from sin and then trust jesus. The Bible mentions that salvation suppose to be a free gift, tell me what’s “free” about it?
