How to Have Gmail Delete Emails Older Than a Certain Date

If you are like most people and have way too many emails in all of your Gmail categories, you can easily delete all of the email that are past a certain age with a simple filter. That way you can run it as needed and any email that is older than the time period you specify will be deleted. You can still get them back from your trash if needed until Google empties your trash for you after 30 days.
Here is the text for the filter.
older_than:X
Use y for years
Use m for months
Use d for days
