When I was 13, I heard an inaudible voice say You're not needing power, love is what you lack. I had simply cried out for truth, whatever that was to no one in particular. Months later, Jesus saved me from a background like this, too. Praise Jesus our Lord and Savior!

She tells my own story of being loosely rooted in Christianity as a child, then becoming hooked on tarot cards from a friend I met in rehab. I practiced the occult for years, then returned somewhat to Christianity but was vulnerable to new thought and ended up picking up the occult again. Some terrible events caused deep grief in my life, and I became so frustrated that I renounced all belief in the supernaturally. Recently, I just cried out to Jesus, and here we are.

I understood immediately that she was telling me to turn to her Son! I was not Catholic, knew nothing about Catholicism....2 years later...still being spiriritually attacked I walked into our little Catholic church, starting g reading Fr Rippergers deliverance prayers EVERY day...out loud...my life is so good now! This is such a great interview. Many churches, especially ones associated with non-denominational charismatic dogmas, are dabbling in a lot of new age and/or new thought. The “church” I left told me,”we are trying to get away from the self help gospel.” I was in there for eight years drinking the kool-aide. Thank God He opened my eyes. Crystals, “Christian yoga”, enneagram, “the blessed life” teachings, and many other ideas were allowed in life groups or even classes they wrote curriculum to. Get into Gods word and hear His truth.

I'm 71 & even school told me to question everything (including parents) we were rebels & questioning takes WORK to find answers. I got lost again even after Jen turned me to Jesus back in 2022. I am ashamed I got lost again, but thinking critically has actually brought me back. But because this topic is always being debated Jenn's testimony would be a strong example of how Jesus is enough to set us free. And of course reading Gods word along with good biblical teachers to help us along in our journey to sanctification. But that is definitely not the same as searching out someone who presumes to have the power to cast out our demons ughhh.

Jen, I don’t know why I’ve never thought to ask you this except that the Lord used this interview. 💖 I am a committed Christian, who is daily in the word and attends a gospel preaching church and serves regularly. However, as a child, I was heavily influenced by some spiritism that had been passed down through my family. Those family members have been saved but had held onto some of those beliefs. I’m not blaming anyone but myself, but this influenced me to be very inquisitive about certain practices (dreams, etc.) thank you so much for mentioning the “psychic attacks.” I did not recognize what they were exactly.

Praise God for your podcast and your testimony! So much of your story, Jenn, sounds like my former daughter-in-law! She has been like a daughter to me since she came into our family. There were things that she would say, or books I had seen in her house, that would make me wonder about her beliefs. She said many times that she's VERY spiritual. After she and my son split up, I haven't been able to stop praying for her. I would wake up in the middle of the night, and ask God to shake up her world. After I would pray for her this way, I would see her posts on social media that life was difficult for her, and she was having a mental breakdown. I recently talked to her and she thanked me for welcoming her into my home and being her mom when she needed a mom. She then shared some music links with me and they are Christian artists! I'm still praying and trusting Jesus has a hold of her and bringing her out into His light.

So cool when someone from your home (Long Island) is used in such a way. Makes you more sensitive to the fact that God can and will (if you/they let Him) use you and anyone!!!!!!

In the last 5 years i have had attacks both times were after stress and growth, both times they came through dreams. The first time I was terrified and moved to bring God into the moment this was happening after I woke up it was on instinct but the second time was diffrent I was away at bible college so away from family, money was tight and so forth it had some stress and i didn't want to let control go but as soon as I did that attack came in the 3rd week at the college and I knew instantly what was happening and I by choice not just instict brought God into the attack that was still kinda was taking place. I will say that I don't know were God will take me in the furture but I know he is someone I can trust even in moments it seems he may no longer be present but he is and so asking him into those moments and I know that having typed out leaves out a lot of information but this gives a idea.

How does this compare to "prophecy" true biblical stories of prophecy and the progressive church prophecy that is so prevalent in churches today? I would love a follow up video on comparison of the two. My gut said that these " prophets " we see so often today are nothing more then a repackaged physics.

Thank you Melissa and Jenn for sharing your stories. Quick question about burning sage to “protect your space” 😒 Is it actually the opposite? What is it about burning sage and are other burnings similar like incense, etc. Thanks and many blessings. Praise Jesus ❤️

Burning incense could be just for the nice smell. Burning incense in church is a symbol for the prayers of the faithful going up to God, and it also makes the service more festive - nothing magic…

Question: What's the difference between a Psychic attack on a Christian and a legitimate dream from the Lord? Does the Lord give dreams? How would you know if it's God giving a dream vs it being demonic? Thanks

Hold the contents to the test of Scripture. Is it consistent with God's word? Does it hold consistent doctrines?
If it teaches "new" doctrines, glorifies you instead of God, or in any way contradicts the Bible it absolutely cannot be from God. God can give good gifts of beautiful experiences; we praise Him for them and hold them to high standards of scrutiny.

This stuff appeals to our flesh so usually there isn't an immediate desire to ask questions.
Questions come when what I bought versus what I was sold no longer line up... that can be years.. decades later

Regarding demons not knowing the future, what they do know is human behavior. They know statistics. And those two together can APPEAR to predict the future. This is why police try to use statistics to predict crime and advertisers use it to predict purchases etc.
They could also, theoretically, organize circumstances (nudge a little here nudge a little there) that might validate the "prediction" they made.

So I've heard her story before. And i wonder how psychologists would view her story. Like, would they just brush it off as schizophrenia, psychosis etc and not anything spiritual or supernatural?

Yes. He is well. Just living life. Not called to be an online personality. He is a youth pastor at his local church and working a regular job (at least last I heard) . (He attended my friends wedding in september).

I've always said that logic classes should also be taught in the church. The church needs to compete with the university to educate the upcoming generations.

Awesome video. This is the meat of Christianity not the peas. “If that makes sense.” Would love to hear more. Three hours would be good. Although I’ve never been new age or any of that, it really resonated with the universal struggle with evil at any degree that we deal with as Christians today.

Completely aside from this video, off topic. I recently found your channel, despite the long form videos you produce (which I typically avoid), I find myself glued to your content. I strongly desire to be right with God and not mislead, so with my simple mind, I try my best to learn as much as I can from his word and am helped in making sense of some things by extra-biblical sources like the content you produce. I would love to hear from you regarding Dr. Heiser and his teaching. Thank you for your kingdom work, God bless.
