God, I love your reactions to Eminem. When The Slim Shady LP came out, I was in 7th grade and I remember going into Hot Topic and they had the CD for 5 bucks, lol. I was 8 years old and heard the real slim shady on the radio and just loved it and the next week I was at a store with my mom that sold used /new CDs and while my mom was busy looking at shit I went on a search for that c.d. I remember asking a worker if they had Eminem CDs because I was looking in the M's like m&m being a 8 year old idiot. I finally got the cd and put myself thumb over the parental advisory sticker and went and asked my mom if I could please get this Eminem cd. She thought Eminem was something like backstreet boys 😂 . I would listen to that cd non stop on my little cd player and head phones . Big ass head band head phone. I was so obsessed and can relate to what you said about feeling like he saved your life. I love watching someone hear how amazing he is and was for the first time is so fun especially when he gets into and has the same reaction you did. But ya I just think it's so crazy but amazing how one Artist can impact so many peoples lives. I am sure there are millions of people out there with this type of story of how they found Eminem and he became a big part of there life. It's more crazy to think how much we love him and how much we know about him and he doesn't know we even exist 😭☹️🙁
