The thing with kill shot is that it’s so intricate that you need to understand every sentence to understand just how much damage Eminem did. Because even they missed like 80 percent of the punch lines.
I'm in my 50s and mostly listen to prog rock, heavy metal, middle eastern music, and acoustic, but I listen to a smattering of rap. I have no clue who MGK or Ditty is. (Are they the same person?) I'll look up this feud one of these days. I couldn't even pick out most of the words the first 20 times (I have a hard time hearing the lyrics in any song), I don't get most of the references, and don't pick up on double-entendres on my best days. Yet this is one of my all-time favorite songs of any genre, certainly my favorite rap song of all time. I never get tired of it. And since I don't even understand most of it yet, I'm sure I'll just love it more and more the more I understand. I'll be cranking this one in the nursing home in not too many years.

The thing with kill shot is that it’s so intricate that you need to understand every sentence to understand just how much damage Eminem did. Because even they missed like 80 percent of the punch lines.
I'm in my 50s and mostly listen to prog rock, heavy metal, middle eastern music, and acoustic, but I listen to a smattering of rap. I have no clue who MGK or Ditty is. (Are they the same person?) I'll look up this feud one of these days. I couldn't even pick out most of the words the first 20 times (I have a hard time hearing the lyrics in any song), I don't get most of the references, and don't pick up on double-entendres on my best days. Yet this is one of my all-time favorite songs of any genre, certainly my favorite rap song of all time. I never get tired of it. And since I don't even understand most of it yet, I'm sure I'll just love it more and more the more I understand. I'll be cranking this one in the nursing home in not too many years.
