America on the Road - RoadTest: 2025

Chris Teague will evaluate another vehicle from an American brand, the 2025 Dodge Hornet. The Hornet is designed to help Dodge turn the page from its musclecar - and some would say muscle-bound - past. Its goal is to maintain the brand’s performance image but putting it in a new context. Chris and Jack will discuss if it lives up to that billing.

The current Dodge Hornet share its platform and underpinning with the Alfa Romero Stelvio. Which is a very good vehicle. Unfortunately. People of the west often misunderstood. That all Italian cars are bad. Not true. So was the Chrysler 200 / Dart (discontinued). It was also based off another Alfa Romero. Sleeper cars wayyyy under the radar. Great cars with no marketing.

The Dodge Hornet is a well engineered SUV with some Italian flair! It's just a little overpriced!

This shouldnt be compared to a rav4. Rav4s are made to last and worth the money. This is an unrefined lease special (scam) for non-car people.

Americans love European cars. just look at the number of bimmers and mercedes out there
