As a former gap employee this is 100% accurate. Folding the shirts correctly was mandatory Staff chastised you in a way where you didn't feel berated. All upper mgmt were white women who were syrupy sweet.

I loved working in retail. This makes me miss it so much. It was the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. I miss the environment; i miss the banterrrr with my fellow coworkers..
I think the Kardashians learned to speak by watching this skit over and over. Kris probably parked them in front of the TV while she looked for a new sugar daddy.
Think they need to bring the GAP Girls back. Have a few from the new cast play the new employees while Sandler and Spade guest star as either managers or former employees/customers RIP CHRIS FARLEY

The 2 lines about abortion & Taco Bell would be deemed "controversial and inappropriate" now & would get alot of backlash. Back then they werent scared about edgy comedy & the two characters were just examples of mean high school valley girls of the time and everyone understood that. Times have sure changed from the free for all comedy of the past

i was all i wonder if they help setup the scene fast...the actors like spade and sandler... cause setting up all the clothes and shelves... but then thought naw its a liability but i bet if a guy like danny devito was there he would be insisting on helping.... fast forward a couple minutes...DANNY walks into the scene ...i had absolutely no clue he was in the episode ,im on a 90s playlist...hahaha i wonder if he helped...cant believe he was in the skit and i tohught of him this way without knowing...i hear hes a class act to the help!
The fakest thing I was ever told by a salesperson when I wasn’t sure if I should buy a bright orange button down: “It’s brings out the highlights in your skin.” 🤦🏼♂️ What does that even mean? I bought the shirt for $50.
