Man, the Great Flood of 1993. I lived in Missouri during that time in a town not that far away from the Mississippi River. The water was everywhere; around a mile from the river, you could eat at a restaurant and see the water flowing by.
I remember this, Charles Barkley was with Pheonix Suns. He was the host of this SNL episode and even Mugsy Bouges was the guess. 1992-93 season SNL. Good Times.
*SNL* fan since I was a little one running around excited for that hour of late night tv....the one and only night...and show that I was allowed to stay up and watch...with my Dad. God rest his sweet, silly, prankster, loving soul! May not have been the best parenting idea....but it was some of my fondest moments with him. And the *SNL* love just grew with each new generation. Now my Son is in college...on his way. He wants to be on that stage one day. He sure is good enough to do it! I'm his biggest fan and I know one day I'll see his name on that tv screen! Ya'll keep ur eyes in the watch for Benny Moore! Kid is talented!😄👌🏼 I know I sound like a gushing mom...and I am...but I would be honest with him if I didn't think he had what it takes. He can't sing....and I let his ass know...stick to what ur good at...lol...mind like a steal trap....unbelievable memory..charisma...and is always making people laugh! And...he's got the want, the drive....and the importance of knowing that a lot of rejection and criticism comes with that territory...he says..."just makes me want it more and work even harder" Soooo...thank you *SNL* for all you've done...just for my family alone! ♥️☝🏼

The fact it was suppose to be Nirvana would have been great. In the interview the talked about how they were suppose to be backstage making out with them. They did a rehearsal but had to fly out or some complication. So they got Skid Row to do it last second. Probably not hard as they were on the decline at that time. But still...would have been a great clip to look back at and see Kurt act in something.
