Now I need a official classic server and I'll be forever happy.

The amount of work you put into these vids is insane, thank you for what you do in filling a massive void in the MapleStory community. Before I found your channel I was in need for MapleStory history vids for the longest time even though I stopped playing a decade ago, and I feel like that might be the case for many others. The nostalgia is incredible, thanks for helping us relive these precious memories.

Maplestory died with V93. Change my mind

hey, love these old maplestory documentaries, keep uploading more!

I/L mages had the capacity to freeze monsters using Cold Beam. Monsters would become a blue-ish hue and be stuck in a hit animation.

About Bob the Snail, there was one a stray green snail in that map for some unknown reason that people had taken to calling Bob. So, after who knows how long, Nexon decided to honor the community by placing an official Bob the Snail in its place, I think sometime after the snail had been removed altogether. It was a regular green snail of course, but it had different stats, was faster and could jump, and I think it spawned several various colored regular snails on death, but I don't know if I'm totally right about that one.

It is amazing seeing u compress the entire patch history to maple-lovers and past players, The nostalgic music in the background while seeing how the game developed really showing your dedication.

  • @Mazer19944

The new Maplestory is the best that it has ever been? Did Nexon put a gun to your head?! Are you serious? Damn I liked this video but this sentence is too much for me.

I WISH YOU MADE A VIDEO LIKE THIS ON THE HISTORY OF HACKS IN MAPLESTORY. Hacking is a HUGE part of maples history.

It's a shame that old maplestory content is so niche nowadays, you deserve so much more views and subscribers. Your videos are seriously amazing, the effort you put into them and their editing is insane.

A few missing tidbits and nuggets from my personal experience with the game during these years:

  • @bigmule7200

This longform video essay content by you is by far the best Maplestory content on youtube. So many hidden details i forgot from the race to 200 and party quest vids. Keep them up!

This is one of my most favorite videos on TH-cam. I started playing MapleStory when I was in 5th grade around the time Windia/Ludibrium was released, and I stopped playing probably around the time pirates/Aran/Eren was added to the game (switched to private servers for a few years, bouncing around between v55/v62 versions of the game since I thought they were pretty fun compared to the GMS version).

  • @gantz5258

your videos are literally a dream come true dude. some of my most fond child memories being perfectly archived.

  • @sonicyellow

Really enjoyed this video, thanks so much for making it. I played GMS back in 2005-2008, before taking very long breaks and only periodically coming back every now and then. It was really nostalgic seeing the different updates, reliving some and discovering changes I didn't even realize happened. I still love the game to this day and would love to see the rest of the history from big bang to the current version, if you're up for it.

  • @Ninshi2g

How do you only have 6k subs with this high of a production value. The work that you do is truly insane and deserves praise beyond what you have received.

  • @Alonimun

Every time i see a vid of yours longer than 20 minutes i know im in for a treat!

  • @joolean3671

Easily my favorite maplestory TH-camr. I didn’t grow up on old school maplestory, but I love learning the history of that era. I love the amount of quality and research you put into these kinds of longer form content. Keep it up 👌👌
