Eurovision 2024 may be over but it the music is not! It is time to check out some of our favourite artists of this year's contest songs!
Joost Klein represented The Netherlands in this years contest and after the controversial disqualification i wanted to see his new song "luchtballon".

Joost will play in the UK with his Europapa tour next year but it's already sold out. Hopefully it can get upgraded or another date can be added and hopefully Joost can play some European festivals next year

its an hidden message to his eurosong (that's why he is still in his blue suit)
"Het verleden doet zeer/maar heb ervan geleerd/en dat zeg ik terwijl ik de toekomst negeer" => "the past hurts/but I learned/while a Ignore the future" (with the future possibly his ongoing investigation in Sweden)
"Ik ben op eenzame hoogte, en dat moet je beseffen" => "I'm at a lonely height, and you have to realise that" (referring to the fact that europapa has by far the most streams of any Eurovision contestant this year)
Finally I found this comment!And also the music video is about what happened and what he feels
But its was very likely in production before Eurovision, and he did know that he would compete so some things or all might have been planned beforehand. Nothing in the song is an direct reference to what happened at least.
@@CatsLilaSalem I'm pretty sure he made this after (or at the very least altered it). And it's not that he made whole new song from scratch here, actually he just altered existing tunes (just sped up and a beat under it).
Joost often has these kind of hidden messages in his song, so thinking this isn't so this time looks a bid strange.... And the fact he still has his Eurovision outfit on and the blue bird got shot and stuff like that are direct references to Eurovision, and if you see that together with the text, than it is a clear reference to Eurovision.
(Oh, btw, i'm not smart enough to see all those hidden messages, I just read them on the dutch news sites. I just wanted to share those findings with the English speaking audience here, because they probably won't see those articles... So it's not only my own view, but shared with more people)
@@kristofsportingdogs3549 Right, it just felt kinda fast to be an response in my mind. But it is already almost an month further, it just feels so recent still the whole Eurovision stuff. Also making an too direct reference might not be wise before the investigation stuff is done

He is coming to London next year BUT tickets have already sold out. His whole tour is already (almost) sold out and some venues (or maybe all of them I don't know really) have been upgraded to a venue which can hold more people. As of today, because of the upgrades, there are only tickets available for Berlin and Zürich. Seems like the venue in London was upgraded as well as originally he was going to perform at the Omeara.

I'm such a happy camper, that I could get a good deal on a weekendticket of a festival at the end of this month, he will perform there on Saturday. Yayyyyyy. But I will go the whole weekend. Lots of other good bands as well. But Joost is the main reason I'm going😃

Hey Noosh you should definitely listen to the song ‘Joost’ by Nielson! Nielson is a well-known artist in the Netherlands and wrote a song for Joost to support him and everything he has been through during Eurovision. It’s in Dutch though, so I hope there’s a subtitled version somewhere :)
Droom Groot is also beautiful. And the best thing to see is the whole show at Lowlands (biggest festival in the netherlands).

1:25 So, ‘Luchtballon’ and ‘Luftballon’ are the really similar words for hot air balloon in German and Dutch, because English, but particularly Danish, German and Dutch are really, really similar Germanic languages. So probably not meant as a reference, no.
