He has such a lovely smile and gosh that voice!! Really a phenomenal actor. Still in love with his portrayal of Edward fairfax Rochester in jane eyre ( 1983).
dark bond? craig blows him out of water in that dept. dalton was horrible he said his bond movie 87' was a box office record? 70s roger moore bond made all more money than he did, what a liar. there is a reason why he quit nobody wanted him back then really , brosnan was highly more popular and shoulda been playing bond since 1987
I was surprised that I actually liked “ The Living Daylights,” more than “ Licence to Kill,” but I wish he would have done one more Bond film... just to see. I would probably place him 2nd or 3rd.
@@soccer1970-f5f i'm not russian you fucking degenerate it's just a screename, are you new to the internet kiddo? anyway i can tell you Connery himself didn't think much of Dalton, he said Dalton underestimated the role and lacked the coolness of bond. NEXT!
Wadsy dalton had no charisma...if you knew anything about movies you would understand you need someone popular to run your franchise, dalton was deadwood from the start. moore was a huge movie star heightened by bond.
right...that explains why the bonds after that with moore were all tremendous success including wiping out connery's NSNA...ok booster age doesn't mean shit Moore looked good until 1985 IMO which was a dreadful bond anyway
It was pathetic, already in for your eyes only he was like a dad to Bibi the girl, same in A view to a kill, the girl was 30 and he was 58, pathetic. And they obviously put many older women in many of the movies for the same reason. Bond is between 35 and 45, So Lazenbys 29 was ok since he looked older, And Roger Moores 51 was ok in The Spy who loved me since he looked younger.
dude it's nearly 2019 it's 35 years ago give it a break, roger moore was a fine bond for the time; he was highly more popular than dalton was...deal with it!
Thank You for sharing this. I am a big fan of Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Both The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill are two of my favorite films in the series.
Timothy is a brilliant actor . I liked him in The Living Daylights but not keen on Licence to Kill .He was great in Flash Gordon as Prince Baron. Plus he was in Doctor Who as a Time Lord.
He was magnificent from a die hard bond fan who loved Moore I really really rate dalton as one of the best if not the best bonds looking back on them all
Roger Moore is still my favorite Bond. But I did like Timothy Dalton as 007. "The Living Daylights" is my favorite James Bond score and John Barry's last, which he went out with a bang.
Cromwell is a British 1970 historical drama film written and directed by Ken Hughes. It is based on the life of Oliver Cromwell, who rose to lead the Parliamentary forces during the later parts of the English Civil War and, as Lord Protector, ruled Great Britain and Ireland in the 1650s. It features an ensemble cast, led by Richard Harris as Cromwell and Alec Guinness as King Charles I, with Robert Morley as Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester and Timothy Dalton as Prince Rupert of the Rhine.
Darling sweetheart Timothy, I thought I gave a comment earlier regarding your 007 film! I did give it a thumbs up for sure and I feel that you are simply the best 007 ever created! I wonder why? I think it may be that your good looks ooze charisma in so many ways that it shows and the public can spot it and that is why basically your JB films are such a hit or should be very popular with a more younger public who are wise about 007 films! So good luck with all your films! May you reach the stars one day and beyond! Haven't I asked you to marry me already or have you asked me? Dont leave it too late, Iay be taken by sharks who are after me! Love you to bits like always! Take care till we meet! Love. Safia Ali. Creator God most highest.
I think he's kinda underrated in the James Bond role. He has only two Bond movies but was excellent in both. No. 1 Connery, No. 2 Dalton, then a long gap and then other Bonds.
Dalton loved the character and played him perfectly. I definitely prefer him to Daniel Craig, Craig's lacking in the class and suaveness which Dalton had.
Interesting how Pierce Brosnan committed to this role, did all the negotiations, and MGM screwed him over with Remington Steele, Timothy Dalton did an excellent job in this movie though, a great Bond
I think Dalton was the right Bond but at the wrong time. His serious take on the role was so different from Moore's light hearted portrayal. I don't think audiences were ready for it.
I think was the right man at the right time and had to play in ''A View to a Κill''. Moore was 58 and his era finished with ''Octopussy''. But Dalton was unlucky, because he came to the end of the Cold War (a basic theme in Bond's script) and in the years 1990-1994 without a Bond movie.
Swoon. The Daltonator.😍😍😍 Doom Patrol (2019). Chuck. Hot Fuzz. Framed. Hawks. The Informant. Penny Dreadful. Jane Eyre (1983). Wuthering Heights. The Beautician and the Beast. The King's Mistress. Dr. Who.
The Living Daylights was a brilliant bond film 10/10 with Tim at his very best as Bond...shame about the follow up Licence to Kill, as it was nowhere near as good, like many of you I would've liked Dalton to have done 4 Bonds.
After the season of comedy and parody with the right man Roger Moore (except the last film), Timothy Dalton - must play in ''A View to a Kill'' - was the right man at the right time. But he was unlucky, because he came to the end of the Cold War (a basic theme in the Bond films script) and in the years 1990 - 1994 without a Bond movie.
It would have been better if Dalton has carrying on with the role four more times, it really sucks seeing him doing only two and because of that i can only watch one and that is LTK.
Yeah, yeah yeah Sean Connery was very good, but Dalton was better. Roger Moore ?..... nope, not all, he was too much the British Dandy, didn't like him at all in the role . Timothy Dalton was the BEST, but then isn't he always, in every role he has ever undertaken. This was one mega talent of a man, yet he was so underrated.
agree - very well played Bond. shame he did not get more. this interviewer though...didn't even watch the movie. I'm sorry..what?! how disrespectful and lazy
He has such a lovely smile and gosh that voice!! Really a phenomenal actor. Still in love with his portrayal of Edward fairfax Rochester in jane eyre ( 1983).
Yes!
Best voice of the gentleman... Best actor...
He sounds like Patrick Stewart
The dark Bond. He's a Shakespearean stage actor and he took this role very seriously. My second favorite Bond after Connery.
dark bond? craig blows him out of water in that dept. dalton was horrible he said his bond movie 87' was a box office record? 70s roger moore bond made all more money than he did, what a liar.
there is a reason why he quit nobody wanted him back then really , brosnan was highly more popular and shoulda been playing bond since 1987
He grew on me. He is a brilliant actor.
I was surprised that I actually liked “ The Living Daylights,” more than “ Licence to Kill,” but I wish he would have done one more Bond film... just to see. I would probably place him 2nd or 3rd.

NEXT!
Yes, it was a shame there were only two Dalton films.
his voice is music to my ears
Dalton was definitely closest to the Fleming character. He deserved at least a third Bond film.
Wadsy dalton had no charisma...if you knew anything about movies you would understand you need someone popular to run your franchise, dalton was deadwood from the start. moore was a huge movie star heightened by bond.
Moore was too old, The spy who loved 1977 me was the last film he should have done.
right...that explains why the bonds after that with moore were all tremendous success including wiping out connery's NSNA...ok booster age doesn't mean shit Moore looked good until 1985 IMO which was a dreadful bond anyway

Timothy was one of the most rounded actors to be casted as James Bond, he had everything going for him, the charm, wit, and enthusiasm.
Timothy was hands down an incredible Bond. Goldeneye should have been his.
Someone made Dalton's Goldeneye for fans here!

I was the 007 fan in my family, but my sister was sooo in love with Timothy Dalton!

Next thing I expect AI to do is create a 24 hour podcast of him talking. I could go on forever with that soothing voice
Gorgeous man, great actor and I love him as Bond! A more complex, edgier and realistic interpretation of Ian Fleming's character.
Timothy is a brilliant actor . I liked him in The Living Daylights but not keen on Licence to Kill .He was great in Flash Gordon as Prince Baron. Plus he was in Doctor Who as a Time Lord.
Damn Dalton is smooth
Красавчик мужчина Тимоти Далтон. Твои глаза магнит. Любимчик всех женщин
OMG that accent though. I loooove it O_o
It still suck and a shame that he did only two, it really would have been better if he had done Goldeneye at least.
The Best Bond!!! love Dalton. His Bond Tattoo proudly on my arm.
I love #TimothyDalton..so eloquent..
He was magnificent from a die hard bond fan who loved Moore
I really really rate dalton as one of the best if not the best bonds looking back on them all
My favorite Bond. T.D. played bond as bond should be...
Oh my god. I was 3 when this was aired. :)
Roger Moore is still my favorite Bond. But I did like Timothy Dalton as 007. "The Living Daylights" is my favorite James Bond score and John Barry's last, which he went out with a bang.
So underrated......
THIS IS JAMES BOND
Best Bond ever!
Timothy Dalton is Seductive AF!💙💯💯

One of the best bonds. One of the most underrated bonds, ever.
For me the best Bond, he is definitely Fleming's Bond! Should of got more movies!
I would have loved to see him in Goldeneye!
Here you can see him in Goldeneye!

Какой же он красивый

Oltre il resto che voce, veramente profonda
best bond
Interesting how Pierce Brosnan committed to this role, did all the negotiations, and MGM screwed him over with Remington Steele, Timothy Dalton did an excellent job in this movie though, a great Bond
I'm glad they did, cause I can't think of anyone else as Bond in The Living daylights and its my second favorite Bond movie.
Biomechanoid Agreed, this is still one of my favs, I couldn't see Brosnan doing this at all
Indeed. Dalton was born to play Bond in TLD IMHO.
THE BEST BOND AFTER SEAN CONNERY
Best Bond Everrrrrr

BEST Bond...well I actually dislike James Bond but wowza who can hate Dalton????? X
Agree. Best Bond.
Is a very big shame that he did only two.
best bond.
she appears not to pay attention to what Dalton says instead she's insisting to the lines she v been told to say from before
Swoon. The Daltonator.😍😍😍

I disagree here, I thought it was brutal at times, but excellent!

This second scene looks like taken from "The Bold and the Beautiful" lol
I think he wanted to do one more but they wanted him to sign a multi film deal so he declined
It would have been better if Dalton has carrying on with the role four more times, it really sucks seeing him doing only two and because of that i can only watch one and that is LTK.

That second clip is a hell of a spoiler

That's Kathleen Sullivan.
ahem.i want Lord Milliori
agree - very well played Bond. shame he did not get more.
this interviewer though...didn't even watch the movie. I'm sorry..what?! how disrespectful and lazy
Whit a stoater
130 millions isn't much of a success timothy
Dalton wasn't bad, definitely better than Craig, but not better than Connery, Moore or Brosnan.
PhenomProductions23 He was way better than Moore and Brosnan.
You're insane.
