Nick & Wren.... Blenders literally clean themselves. Rinse it out immediately after consuming, fill them to half with hot water and a little soap. Put it back on the base and pulse for a few seconds. Takes 60 seconds tops.

NIKO! So glad you got a bafang BBSHD!!! Its an awesome ebike motor kit. Been using one for 5+ years.
Pro tip: take the motor cover off and replace the shitty white factory grease on the internal nylon gears with high quality stuff. The white factory grease breaks down really fast and can overheat causing it to break easily.
ID CHANGE THIS BEFORE YOU HIT 50 MILES. And again every few hundred miles or so.
Also buy the usb breakout cable so you can change the controller settings via computer. You can make sure the power is set to max (some sellers limit the power in CA to be legal) and change power curves and some other things.
    You’ll love this ebike kit!

Jake, part of what you mentioned regarding the Apple Tax was incorrect. They do not charge the Apple Tax on physical goods. You would not use In-App Purchases for that. You would use the Apple Pay SDK (or a vendor of your choice such as Stripe) instead which just charges usually around 2.9% + ~30c.
You can learn more by searching “App Store Review Guidelines” and then going to the “3.1.3(e)”.

When Niko started talking about Dungeon Masters in games I got a flashback to my Ultima Online days: that MMO had paid (and volunteer) staff specifically hired to progress story on the servers (until a lawsuit f'ed it up.) They basically were DM's with the ability to spawn monsters, play monsters/characters and create unique items or locations; there's still unique places on the server I was on from the storylines I was involved in 20 years ago.
It sparked my love for roleplaying; without that game I probably would've never sat down at a D&D table or spent hours drafting up backstories for my characters on RP servers. Back then I hoped MMO's would evolve in to more of that, but with a wider array of tools for the players to create their own stories. Instead we got copy/paste themeparks after the succes of WoW.

I think that Macbook Air is the model that throttles like mad since it has no fans. I think it was Linus literally just ranted about those on WAN Show how Apple failed on the "Air" concept altogether turning it from an high-end ultrabook-type concept to a cheaper "MacBook lite" model line that didn't work at all and mudded the whole line-up. I think they're fixing that mistake atm...

  • @dedrxbbit7549

21:55 it’s because Ford already owns the rights to the title Lightning. Back in the mid 90s they had a sport truck based on the F150 platform that had a performance V8. It was part of their SVT lineup, which stands for “Special Vehicle Team.” This is why you have a lot of purists who are salty with Ford about using “Lightning” for an electric vehicle. It used to stand for a gas-guzzling powerhouse and now it stands for a rechargeable battery on wheels. 🤷🏼

Re. "recycling". Organic lithium-ion batteries are not practically speaking recyclable. Or, it costs way, way, way too much to actually reuse them. They can be thrown away and destroyed without polluting too much for a relatively cheap cost, but it has not been a focus so far for producers. Basically, the reason why you choose organic lithium-ion is production cost being marginally cheaper than the alternatives.
Which do exist. Lots of smaller phones and certain replaceable batteries are made with lithium-ion cores with salt-solutions (similar to larger car-batteries from yonder days), that can be broken down significantly easier than the toxic solutions that used to be very common.
And there are lithium-polymer batteries with similar electrolyte-solutions, that can be melted down and also respun at the end of their life-cycle, which is infinitely longer than the organic batteries. This invention is from the 70s. But it's not used - for example in your Macs - because it costs two cents more on the ton to make, basically.
Incidentally, the size of your Mac and the fact that the M1 is an overclocked ARM-cortex processor is what accounts for the longer battery-life. There are multiple AMD-based products that are competitive on performance for battery-drain out right now. Meanwhile, the RISC-based processors from the olden days (as are the ARM-processors with more cores and less linear processing speed) are, again, infinitely more energy-efficient. Which is why your old Power-PC Macs lasted a very long time on a battery that was nowhere near the batteries in the MacBooks now.
So practically speaking, we could have plastic-polymer with tiny amounts of lithium, or other less dangerous metals, for base - right now - if any of the American companies who saturate the entire market with their junk, if their customers started to demand existing, significantly more environmentally friendly, technology in their products.
Instead, what we have is a few competitive products - but they are pushed out of the market, not because they're slightly more expensive (because look at Mac - like wtf). But because the companies will focus on earning 2 cents more on the ton on phone-sales if they can.
So rather than develop production lines geared towards the more environmentally friendly alternative, or the better processors, or the more energy-efficient stuff -- that will be drowned out by old organic lithiuim-ion batteries, and less energy-efficient processors -- because the difference between the production cost and the sales-price can be marginally increased by clinging to the old production-lines.
Because you guys, Americans, predominantly, buy freedom batteries that are not regulated to uninformed customers :D Funny world, isn't it! As long as it lasts, anyway.

    You asked who is using snapchat and why;
Snapchat is faster way of group chatting pictures. I have groups with roommates and ones with different friend groups. It is a faster way to take a picture and send to someone than using SMS.
Cons: Its image quality suffers because it directly taps the camera sensor instead of going through the Camera app that has image processing that at least on my Galaxy phones are really good. No sort feature for old saved messages, no search function, gets messy for anything professional.
Pros: Fast and easy paint on image, its sticker/cut function allows meme creation on the fly. BUT stickers are chronological and no way to make folders to sort different stickers.
I feel like the demographic of snapchat is 13-30 but I dont see a reason to stop using it as its become a way to communicate 1000 words into a message quicker and easier,

Ironically my new leaf plus has a ton of power. Also chademo the fast charger the leaf uses has always been a two way capable charger. The cybertruck will be no cheaper than 60k no fucking way. The lightning will self drive itself on highways just the the current mach e. Even the leaf has pro pilot wren, what are you talking about? Tesla isnt that great. I have driven cross country in my leaf plus, what are you talking about? it takes hours to drive the 220 miles, you have to stop and use the bathroom. There is a nationwide non tesla network, works just fine. The lightning will charge in 40 minutes after you drive 300 miles which could take 4 to 6 HOURS TO DRIVE. Stop and eat lunch god damn.

It still boggles my mind that people find OSX or Apple products in general "pleasing to the senses". But you know, eye of the beholder and all that I guess. To me Apple products generally just feel limited, ugly, and unintuitive to use. Plus I really don't like their walled-garden eco system. But I'm not a hater, if Apple's products let you do what you want, and you're not annoyed by the limitations or find the UI clunky or ugly, go for it. I'm not gonna judge (much).

The fastest Macbook Pro M1 is already way slower then a stable windows laptop the Gigabyte Aero 15. So if anyone buys the fastest M1 macbook, for lets say video editing, he/she is wasting money and goes for the appletax. On the other hand the cheapest Macbook with M1 might be the only worth option to consider.
Ah yes and the problem with the non existent cooling... Over the years there were a lot of macbooks with bad cooling. They would run as hot as 95°C or 203°F or even more!... Apple said its fine but many of these macbooks died in no time because obv. no processor can handle these temps for a long time... Just watch a few videos from Luis Rossmann who repairs apple stuff for a living. Inform yourself how apple shits on their customers when it comes to repair policy and other fields. :)
Btw: the "closed system - security - no 3rd party apps" is totally marketing and business bs.. apple products are not safer then any other technic products!

As much as i like corridor content, but people should research more about Nikola Tesla and less about the company. Its not like those car batteries dont need to be replaced, neither is there infinite lithium. I recommend not trusting someone prefering Edisons work over Teslas, who runs a company using Teslas name in a world like this. Not that I'm a defender of gas vehicles, but saving the energy in a battery is not an innovation in my opinion.

To reduce confusion when talking about these things; Motors have stators. Engines have pistons. Using the word motor for an engine is confusing.
