Today I learned Canadians say "sorry" so much that The Apology Act was passed in 2009, declaring that an apology can't be used as evidence of admission of guilt.

When Canadians say sorry for bumping in to people, we're not actually sorry. It's just a nicer way of saying "get out of my way, and leave me alone."

H3 Podcast is hot garbage and Ethen just talks about the dumbest things, makes drama, or reacts to dumb shit and since he surrounded by YES men, he gets worse. He doesnt have the skills to be a decent podcaster, it was just the trend at that time to start one so they invested alot of money and did. Years later, Ethan is still a terrible host and is painfully stupid, and spreads disinformation about so many things. I was an old H3H3 fan when everyone liked him, then he sold out years ago and became SJW leftist shill.

Hey guys, little known fact about ships is that EVERY ship dumps their blackwater tanks once they are in international waters. Every US Navy ship does this, and I'm sure cruise ships do as well. I used to help build Landing Helicopter Assault ships (LHA6 specifically) - the ship was built for 3000 people, and they would dump their tanks.

I'm from Argentina, once the marine corps captured one of this Chinese vessels and China was " we don't know them"....
To be fair they aren't the only ones doing it. Britain is probably worse because the Falklands are quite near.
At least fish is not an important part of the Argentinian diet, i remember reading about these international vessels completely destroying the marine habitat in some countries in West Africa. They used the fish they captured there to make this food used to feed the fish in their fish farms. So stupid...

Also Laird is a gender neutral term because if referring to the landowner, they'd say Laird similar to how we use they/them for general people.

What was weird and it gets annoying once you noticed it/ look for it. Wren has this annoying habit of taking over the conversation from someone else. It was obvious Niko here wanted to talk about the flight himself, but he pauses for like a mili second and Wren quickly take over. He never even lets himself pause for a moment, just spitting out information. I wanted a deep insight from Niko, but Wren just took it over. He has this habit alot in the podcast, yet when someone cut him off look at his face. He visually looks bother that someone did that to him when he does it all the time.

Wren I can see why Tom likes having you on Latitude. Eveyone at Corridor all the way back to everyone to VGHS & Rocket Jump seem like great people to hang out with. Your all seem such vivacious people.
But Wren hearing you talking about such a diverse range of subjects, suggests that your very much like Tom. I don't know Tom personally but he is a friend of friends of mine. The whole small world principle. So I hope your enjoying as much as I am the testing going on around Starship. Also have you come across another LA based actor TH-cam Podcast called ShuttlePod? It's presented by a British & an American actor who were part of the Starship Enterprise show & they are having really discussions about acting not just their involvement in the Star Trek universe but their lives both before & after.
One question & recommendation before I go
Obviously you will all have been watching what has been happening at NAB these week, but I don't know if any of you were interested in what happened at NAMM...
As If that's your sort of thing can I recommend another TH-camr a fellow Brit by the name of Warren Huart whose Channel: Produce like a Pro is also LA based & is to Audio Engineering to what you are to VFX based movie creation.

I'd like to point out that it's not speed that gives you the weightless experience in vomit comet and these suborbital flights. It's the downward acceleration of the craft that matches the gravitational pull (on Earth around 9.81m/s²). Plane in atmosphere has to work to achieve this while those suborbital hops get it while unpowered high enough to not have any significant air resistance.

Many people are actually afraid of the silence because they don't know what the other is thinking, which freaks most people out. For example, I'm the shy, introvert kind of guy, only saying what I think when I see it's worth it. Most of the times I listen, don't do much small talk to "fill the void" and I'm very comfortable with silence. But most of my friends are not, or my family. So many times someone asks me something which is just to make small talk and I answer with simple "yes" or "no", not because I don't want to talk, it's just I don't have much to say about it, that's it. Of course, people get weird out and start talking about something completely different, to the point where I try to say something and they just talk over me.
That's how much people are scared of silence. I think.
About language and what Wren said, the inconsistencies of language and how we use the same word for single and plural and the same word with different pronunciations mean different things. That's something from the English language. Other languages are actually pretty rich in words, synonyms, masculine, feminine, etc. But I think that's what makes English so easy to learn (for example my native language is Portuguese and it's a pretty complex language because it's very diverse, but I can speak English fluently and pretty much learned it by seeing movies and TV shows - since in Portugal we don't dub the shows we end up learning it phonetically, while the writing we learn it in school).
That's one reason why if you come to Portugal, you will probably find a bunch of people that know how to speak English (and some also speak Spanish and French).

I definitely think the "VFX and Stuntmen react" series should be longer than 13-15minutes. After the 2-3 minute ad placement theyre only like 10 minutes and i always feel like as soon as im just getting into it, its over. I dont know how much you guys cut out but having more banter on the couch or scenes that are reacted to that get cut out should stay in the edit in to make them longer. Especially if you have a guest. I was really disappointed when you finally got Scott Atkins on the show and it was still only a 15 minute video. Personally I think shooting for the 20 minute mark would amazing but idk the reasons you keep them at 15min.

I feel like the whole dead air thing doesn't really matter for podcasts. I'm guessing it came from radio. I feel like if I heard a 10-second silence on the radio I would be like what the heck. But on a podcast it's normally always some form of a conversation so it seems normal and doesn't bother me. I doubt it bothers anybody else either. I'm probably something that everybody thinks matters but it doesn't really.

Ya and Niko talking about using the term "Indian" being weird. As a Canadian that term is pretty racist here today. We find it weird that Americans still use it...

You guys should definitely get a different couch for the react series. That think is nasty! Its flat to all hell, its made from that sticky uncomfortable faux leather, and every guest on the show looks super uncomfortable being sucked down into the giant green bean bag. Take the sponsor or not and get a nice comfortable couch if only for your guests, we all know youre all fine with using that nasty janky thing, lol.
