Now I am tempted to look at some of these to steal parts from. Two sets of wheels, the wing, the cage, surely all could be modified to fit on a plastic kit to customize. Could even hack out those rotors and calipers to work on something else. You've got me thinking...
It's a great idea to steal these parts from this kit and use them in another one. These plastic parts are much sturdier than those used in regular kits; therefore, they look a bit bulky and oversized (such as the seats), while others are quite flexible (like the wing or the cage). However, it seems it is worth trying :) There are a lot of nice parts at a reasonable price. And even if you don't find a use for them in a plastic project, you can customize the diecast :) Plenty of choices! 😀

I have got the same kit and I will repainting body shell for other color and will make some small modifications for upgrade the kit. Someday...
it is really nice! I also thought about adding some touches here and there but with ongoing Chevy project I needed some break from airbrushing 😀 and also come to the same conclusion I can upgrade repaint it anytime! :D
It's actually very good. Just snap together and no glue? Comes with its own screwdriver.

Certainly! There are two sets of wheels to choose from. No glue is required; simply snap the components together and begin playing. 😀 For some parts, you need a bit more strength, but there is always an adult to help. 😀
That is an excellent idea! I previously taught English to children, and I recall a hospital visit I made to cheer up a young boy who had requested it. It was actually he, not his parents😀 So I can imagine how boring this experience can be. 😀
