Im new to the hobby, this is my 4th kit and Ive been really struggling with painting the kits. this kit was PERFECT for me. This kit is basically nothing but painting. It made it so I didn't have to pay attention to all the building and glueing etc, I had one thing to worry about, the paint job. So I focused and really prepped the paint. so far its my best paint job hands down and I feel like the kit taught me a lot.
Actually. I also pay more attention to the coloring process.. I don't care about the correctness of the object itself or the details of the interior..
just enjoy yourself and hav fun!!

Very nice Model car. The Gunmetal color looks awesome in this car. I see that this model one doesn't have an engine but instead a half engine view from the underside.
yes,this kit without engine..I don't really care about it,I put most of my attention on the exterior of the car..thank you for watching!!😊😊

- yes!
hi,about color coat,it depend on the color effect I want, usually I put 3-5 layers of color paint..
the clear coat is depand on the surface..to achieve a smooth surface need at least 3-5 layers..
I usually sand down the defect between layers, so after the final coating,the thickness of paint is much thinner than expect.

請問你在上漆的最後階段用了3000號砂紙去打磨瑕疵，之後就上亮光漆了。
沒有在打磨之後再上一次gun metal嗎？ 這樣打磨的痕跡不會受影響嗎？
你好.其實不會喔..因為色漆的厚度足夠.3000號海綿砂的目的是整平..接下來的透明漆也會上5-6層後再打磨....以這台車為例.由於底色是金屬色..對於透明漆比較敏感.所以前兩層透明漆的濃度較濃.用乾噴的模式噴塗，底色上3000號砂紙的打磨痕跡在前兩層的透明漆後就可以補平，車體的亮度是靠最後的拋光完成的...以上是我慣用的方式...每個人作法不同，一點心得分享..謝謝你的觀賞!!😊

HI!😊你好，我在這裡使用的是一種叫做"施敏打硬 CEMEDINE透明模型接著劑 CA-089"這種膠的好處是可以用砝瑯漆溶劑去除多餘的膠，以這台保時捷的例子來說..如果透明零件的邊緣較為餘裕的狀況下.可以先用少量的瞬間膠固定之後.再用上述的透明膠補強....一點心得分享..希望對你有幫助..😊

You really use brush and tooth brush to clean the dried paint? Those brushes are too brutal for newly dried color paint layer. They will create a lot of fine scratches. Why did not you use compressed air to clean your dried color layer before 2K clear?
thank you for your comment, the brushes are ok for me..and I don't use 2K clear.. I just don't get use to 2K clear, I just use the normal lacquer base clear..
@@MRLINSSCALEMODELING I see. As I come from detailing for real cars, the brushes are so scary to me (at least) no matter how soft they feel/look. But your final product looks great. How long did it take you to finish this build? This is my dream car, too. I would love to make one myself.
