Google maps puts every car manufacturer Nav to shame. Mercedes, BMW... shit compared to Google. Its no shock, really. Google is a software giant, these are automakers. Garmin's tech is ehhhhh at best. Still really no competition to Google or Apple. No 2.0T is unfortunate, but I am hoping the MPG figures make up for that. Dropping the 2.0T is a very short sighted move. Its not like they didn't sell. I believe it was upwards of 20-25% of the mix because Honda allowed it on the Sport 2.0 and moved it to standard on Touring models. My gut tells me they did this because the Acura TLX exists and the Accord was a slightly better buy in some regards(especially interior space) with similar performance.
I will reserve judgment on the overall styling, but the front end comes across initially as anonymous but the older car was getting longer in the tooth.(however the rear styling is a dramatic improvement..at LONG last, LED turn signals back there).Honda's bigger problem however, may reside with Toyota and the new Camry. I was pretty upset about the 2.0t being gone but how gas prices are looking right now, I’m not EVEN mad.. the 2.0t got horrible gas mileage close to v6 status in certain conditions like having too much fun! lol I had a 2.0t so i understand the pain! I’d rather save at the gas pump instead of having a fast engine, nearly asking for a ticket… plus this new accord is stunning, especially with that new display! Sexy accord!

Have had several versions of the Accord. Actually prefer the outgoing model appearance more. The front end on the 2023 looks "cheap" to me. Im actually looking to purchase soon and believe im going to try the Genesis G70 with the 3.3. More money for sure, but from what ive seen its a great car.

  • @icculus

The front end reminds me of a Ford Taurus (❌) but the rear light looks like it was pulled right off a Lincoln Aviator (✅). That said, it’s
Nice but nothing hugely exciting. However, that usually means it will age well (unlike other cars like the Sonata) and usually with Accords I like them more over time.
