I believe if we want to become like China (in terms of growth) we have to adopt the Chinese strategy, while still preserving our heritage... We need to entice global companies to come to Indian market, we will have to incentivise the global companies to share their technology and patents with us, like how automotive industry does it, for example Hero Honda, Maruti Suzuki, we would need to apply the same pricipal to all the other industries, and also create a cheap and reliable manufacturing hub, all of this while maintaining a stable economic growth...
In my opinion if we manage to achive all that while keeping the religious issues to a minimum, we might become a superpower nation in 15-20 years.. but if we can't do that than we should probably wake up from fantasizing about India becoming a superpower....
