R.I.P. Bill, I miss your dry humour and sound advice, your vids have given me loads of' food for thought' over the last few years!👍I enjoyed our occasional little chats via your vids!
Your videos reflect the title of your channel, and for a writer and largemouth bass fisherman like me I really enjoy the change of pace these videos offer.
Nick Rogers Hi I’m glad you liked the video. I do try to show basic fishing techniques and baits because it is aimed at beginners. I agree that is a lovely little river and I wish it was at the bottom of my garden! Tight Lines
Thank you bill you are doing a good job the sponsers should note that the beginers you do it for are there customers of the future love it keep it up bill
French Fishing Hi I’m glad you enjoy this type of fishing. It is such a simple tactic and deadly and has probably accounted for more big roach than any other technique on rivers but isn’t practised by many anglers. Cheap as well. Tight Lines
fitman42 . Hi I can’t name it as it is a club water and I don’t want to upset the club. Suffice to say it is in Bedfordshire and is a tributary of a tributary of the Gt Ouse. Tight Lines
barrie jenkins . Hi yes it is but following advice from Alan Scotthorne I put three twists in which makes the knot much stronger! Have a look at my video ‘2 essential knots’. Tight Lines
Dave M . Hi small rivers are certainly capable of surprises. I know one that has produced double figure barbel and roach over 2 1/2 lbs! For many years my pb chub came from a small stream. Many people ignore them which is fine by me! I hope you are enjoying my video’s. Tight Lines.
cns180784 . Hi this river is club controlled but I know several others like this that are free. One runs through a park near to my old school in Surrey and I haven’t seen it for 40 years but this year I plan to fish it again if it’s not been taken over or fishing banned. Tight Lines
Good to know there are free ones or rather free stretches of rivers out there, theres' a good part of the river Anker thats free to fish near where i live, but these small streams just look so chilling to fish (chilled out i mean...more relaxed) will have to try one at some point.
BUSHCRAPPING . Hi just a very cheap Sony cx 450 and a Canon powershot 610. On another note when fishing the lift method I just thread a single float rubber on and push the bottom of the float in that, easily adjustable and if a big fish tears thru’ snags the float just pulls free. Tight Lines
I like you and I believe that you would give me a honest answer, have you ever eaten sweets and have you ever drank sweet drinks and have you had semolina? If so then why do parents and grandparents tell their children and grandchildren not to?
A short session on a small river/stream, using a very simple but deadly tactic and bait.
