I was wanting another dog but needed time. My other dog just seemed so lonely and depressed so I finally decided to start looking about a week and a half ago, and God brought a puppy into my life that I wasn’t expecting. I was looking into rescues and found one I wanted but apparently God wanted me to have this one. And he is adorable!!! I pray that your new fur baby will bring you and your family years of joy and love! ❤️❤️
OMGosh! I feel like that's how it happened with us too!!!! My heart was not ready to open up to another dog... but not having one by my side was just as painful! Fostering seemed like a safe transition until I was ready! Nope! Bam, she came in and that was it! LOL So glad you have new love and joy in your home and heart.

What a great idea for doubling the storage capacity! I love that you adopted the mama dog! We also have a mama dog we adopted three years ago. She was named Sweetie by the rescue who found her pregnant and wounded in Texas. After giving birth, she and her pups were transported up here to the Chicago suburbs and the puppies were quickly adopted while Sweetie stayed in foster care to recoup and recover. Always so appreciative of the care she received, Sweetie truly lives up to her name! After seven months in foster care, we were the lucky family she chose to spoil and love her forever.💕
We considered that name for our girl - because that's just what she is!!!! I'm so glad you were chosen to spoil Sweetie.... we are proud to do that for our Yzma too. Thanks for watching!

I would mention that a Utility Knife - what was called a 'sheetrock knife' when I was a child, will cut the heavier cardboard, well any cardboard, much easier than the craft knife will...you might want to try that...and yes, I use a square for cutting straight lines as well...I make plaques and other items using cardboard, I've cut a lot of it! I'm thinking since I make my cardboard 4-5 layers thick, a band saw or even a scroll saw might work better, but yes, try a utility knife. Blessings!

CONGRADULATIONS on your new family member !!! I have a rescue Yorkie something. The vet calls him a Yorkie Mix. He was left out in the desert and my daughter found him and brought him to me full of cactus and scared to death. That was 6 years ago and he's WONDERFUL. I also have a rescued pure bred, papered Bichon Freese. She was shown and then turned into a breeder after winning in coat and confirmation. When she was turned into a breeder she no longer received human attention ever. At 6 years old she was retired as a breeder because she's a little small for a breeder and couldn't have enough puppies at one time. She was given to my daughter for me. She is now 11 and is still adjusting to getting attention. Watching her personality grow and come forward has been such a gift. Thank you for all you are teaching me and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR RESCUEING A DOG WHO WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. I am a widow and turned 72 today and they are such a joy in my life. You will find the same from your new baby.

There are some people who should never be allowed to have a pet. Makes you wonder how well people parents they are! God bless you for helping heal her and fall in love and keep her. I am beyond happy for the puppies and their mom finding homes. I'm so glad you got mama and she's working out well. The tray inside the box is a great idea. I have a lot of Christmas small items I store in shirt boxes and these would be really handy so they aren't scattered. They could even make use of wrapping paper to cover the box. Really clever. I have boxes the dog food arrives in and was going to get rid of them but now I know what I will be doing! I am so glad you have found a lovely new doggy companion for your family. I am sure you will have lots of fun with her. I just can't understand how people can just dump a dog like that. I will be looking for a new kitty very soon as this is the only way I can cope with loss of a pet. My handsome eighteen year old Bengal cat was run over by a car two days ago and the driver didn't even stop and I am an absolute heap! The house is so quiet.

Only two weeks old at the moment but that gives me time to try and tidy my chaotic home and buy toys and other things he will need! I'll collect him mid June. He can't replace my Oscar but he will help me to get over losing him. How are you getting on with your lovely new companion? You are wonderful to foster a dog. I wouldn't have been able to part with her either.
Your new little dog is lovely, I have always found that a rescued cat or dog are the most devoted pets you can ever have. They have been through hard times and are so happy to have a new loving home. We do not choose them, they choose us. X
OMGosh! That is totally how I feel!!! When we went in for the interview with the Rescue, she was there and came over and layed in my lap! I should have known when they asked us to foster her it was already a done deal. LOL

Congrats on your new addition! We lost our Beagle to cancer about the same time you lost your pup. She was a rescue also. Someone had beat her and left her for dead. Cracked her skull, had absesses on her tummy and over 100 ticks! 🤯The vet did not believe she would live. We took her in anyway and she gave us almost 15 joyful years! She definetly left pawprints on our hearts!❣How could someone be so cruel and empty is beyond my understanding but I do believe these dogs make the best pets! I know your new girl will fill your hearts as well🥰 btw, I also really liked the box!😆

I love this crafty creation! I’d like to cover them with contact paper because I can see me or the cats tearing a beautiful wrapping paper. But I could use wrapping paper on the inside tray. I’ll probably use wide ribbon for the inside handles because I have quite a bit that’s just too big for my cardmaking. You make creativity fun. I just love your channel. It was so sweet of you to adopt Yzma. I’ve never seen that movie but when I looked it up I saw Eartha Kitt voiced Yzma. Miss Kitt was my role model when I was a little girl. What a starlet. Gotta watch that movie.

I feel the same (plus I’m too picky) but may try adding the tray to an existing box. If the box has hole slots for handles, keep that in mind for the tray position and height.
Brilliant idea - love the tray! I actually have a couple of lovely boxes that could really use trays to maximize their storage potential! I always feel invigorated after I've seen one of your videos.
Each time I watch one of your videos I am again reminded of the Bible verse about angels walking among us. I believe you must be one of those. Your kindness and love radiate and spread peace and joy. And the decluttering/organization tips are also hugely inspiring and motivating. The story about Domino and your new rescue touch me deeply as I have for about 30 years worked in dog rescue and have myself kept many rescued dogs I fell so deeply in love with. I have a particular soft spot for old dogs that aren't adoptable. I don't understand how anyone could have a dog for many years then just abandon him/her. I lost one of those precious ones two weeks ago to old age (he was about 18 years old and I'd had him 14 of those years) so I share your sorrow and grief for the oss of a fur baby. This is lengthy enough, so thank you for enriching my life with your thoughtfulness, goodness, generosity, and caring. Blessings to you and all members of your family, including the new lucky lady. Congratulations on your new family addition. She is adorable. I do not understand how people can do that when all they have to do is surrender them at a shelter. Maybe theirs has a fee to do that, some do...can't speak for all, but they also had a night drop...you just write down if it's a found animal or if you are surrendering it, information about it. No $. They have cages with food and water and a blanket. I believe they also have a night person who checks on them. There is no excuse for abandoning any animal. So many just hang around the area waiting for their person to return. How cruel. Thank you for giving her a furever home and she will return the favor with unconditional love and help you and your family heal. I love your box with the tray. This would be perfect for my Christmas ornaments. Maybe even use the leftover cardboard to make dividers for them. Thank you so much for being there for us. Awe I love you for keeping Mama dog! All my dogs come from animal control or the Humane Society...And thanks for the box tutorial...that is gonna in handy ..
us too, except with ua, it's cats, mostly black adults (we were told at our SPCA that people don't adopt black cats (still superstitious in our "modern times" adults (everyone wants kittens, of course) or bonded pairs,. still, sadly there are not enough people adopting kittens to keep up with supply and many shelters end up euthanizing them if under 6 weeks (they need help feeding and eliminating and there are not enough volunteers to help out) - spay & neuter, please!!
You just helped me to get motivated to get my craft supplies organized. I actually had less supplies than I thought after purging all of my already finished projects. I have only my living room to craft in so I keep the thing I use most around me there. My husband and I share a spare room for both of our hobbies supplies. That is were I organized my little corner and we also have an old computer station in there where all of my husbands supplies go. It also has a table that folds down. I just need to do some more purging of decor I do not find usable any longer. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos of encouragement.

Years ago I loss mine and six months later I adopted another one from a lady who got in touch with me wanting me to adopt her dog because she couldn't keep her any more. I am LOVING this. We will be moving from NJ to Tennessee this year and this looks like it will be very useful for packing certain things and then I can use these boxes in my craft room, storage area, garage, etc. You are a flipping genius! The tray inside the box is a great idea. I have a lot of Christmas small items I store in shirt boxes and these would be really handy so they aren't scattered. They could even make use of wrapping paper to cover the box. Thanks for all the great ideas and good luck reaching your goal. Ear scratches for your new fur kid.

Really clever. I have boxes the dog food arrives in and was going to get rid of them but now I know what I will be doing! I am so glad you have found a lovely new doggy companion for your family. I am sure you will have lots of fun with her. I just can't understand how people can just dump a dog like that. I will be looking for a new kitty very soon as this is the only way I can cope with loss of a pet. My handsome eighteen year old Bengal cat was run over by a car two days ago and the driver didn't even stop and I am an absolute heap! The house is so quiet.

Only two weeks old at the moment but that gives me time to try and tidy my chaotic home and buy toys and other things he will need! I'll collect him mid June. He can't replace my Oscar but he will help me to get over losing him. How are you getting on with your lovely new companion? You are wonderful to foster a dog. I wouldn't have been able to part with her either.

OMGosh! That is totally how I feel!!! When we went in for the interview with the Rescue, she was there and came over and layed in my lap! I should have known when they asked us to foster her it was already a done deal. LOL

Congrats on your new addition! We lost our Beagle to cancer about the same time you lost your pup. She was a rescue also. Someone had beat her and left her for dead. Cracked her skull, had absesses on her tummy and over 100 ticks! 🤯The vet did not believe she would live. We took her in anyway and she gave us almost 15 joyful years! She definetly left pawprints on our hearts!❣How could someone be so cruel and empty is beyond my understanding but I do believe these dogs make the best pets! I know your new girl will fill your hearts as well🥰 btw, I also really liked the box!😆

I love this crafty creation! I’d like to cover them with contact paper because I can see me or the cats tearing a beautiful wrapping paper. But I could use wrapping paper on the inside tray. I’ll probably use wide ribbon for the inside handles because I have quite a bit that’s just too big for my cardmaking. You make creativity fun. I just love your channel. It was so sweet of you to adopt Yzma. I’ve never seen that movie but when I looked it up I saw Eartha Kitt voiced Yzma. Miss Kitt was my role model when I was a little girl. What a starlet. Gotta watch that movie.

I feel the same (plus I’m too picky) but may try adding the tray to an existing box. If the box has hole slots for handles, keep that in mind for the tray position and height.

Each time I watch one of your videos I am again reminded of the Bible verse about angels walking among us. I believe you must be one of those. Your kindness and love radiate and spread peace and joy. And the decluttering/organization tips are also hugely inspiring and motivating. The story about Domino and your new rescue touch me deeply as I have for about 30 years worked in dog rescue and have myself kept many rescued dogs I fell so deeply in love with. I have a particular soft spot for old dogs that aren't adoptable. I don't understand how anyone could have a dog for many years then just abandon him/her. I lost one of those precious ones two weeks ago to old age (he was about 18 years old and I'd had him 14 of those years) so I share your sorrow and grief for the oss of a fur baby. This is lengthy enough, so thank you for enriching my life with your thoughtfulness, goodness, generosity, and caring. Blessings to you and all members of your family, including the new lucky lady. Congratulations on your new family addition. She is adorable. I do not understand how people can do that when all they have to do is surrender them at a shelter. Maybe theirs has a fee to do that, some do...can't speak for all, but they also had a night drop...you just write down if it's a found animal or if you are surrendering it, information about it. No $. They have cages with food and water and a blanket. I believe they also have a night person who checks on them. There is no excuse for abandoning any animal. So many just hang around the area waiting for their person to return. How cruel. Thank you for giving her a furever home and she will return the favor with unconditional love and help you and your family heal. I love your box with the tray. This would be perfect for my Christmas ornaments. Maybe even use the leftover cardboard to make dividers for them. Thank you so much for being there for us. us too, except with ua, it's cats, mostly black adults (we were told at our SPCA that people don't adopt black cats (still superstitious in our "modern times" adults (everyone wants kittens, of course) or bonded pairs,. still, sadly there are not enough people adopting kittens to keep up with supply and many shelters end up euthanizing them if under 6 weeks (they need help feeding and eliminating and there are not enough volunteers to help out) - spay & neuter, please!!

You just helped me to get motivated to get my craft supplies organized. I actually had less supplies than I thought after purging all of my already finished projects. I have only my living room to craft in so I keep the thing I use most around me there. My husband and I share a spare room for both of our hobbies supplies. That is were I organized my little corner and we also have an old computer station in there where all of my husbands supplies go. It also has a table that folds down. I just need to do some more purging of decor I do not find usable any longer. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos of encouragement.

Years ago I loss mine and six months later I adopted another one from a lady who got in touch with me wanting me to adopt her dog because she couldn't keep her any more. Was the best choice I ever made.🥰

I am LOVING this. We will be moving from NJ to Tennessee this year and this looks like it will be very useful for packing certain things and then I can use these boxes in my craft room, storage area, garage, etc. You are a flipping genius!
