I follow both the paper posh lady and Kelly Barlow creations. Both are favorites of mine. It was very kind of you to mention kelly and her families recent loss. My heart goes out to her. I watch her videos always to support her. Sherry is the Master of coverings. With all sorts of elements. She is a darling. I love the black and white one too. It is on my to do list. Thank you for sharing with us these projects. ❤️💖🤗
I agree. Kelly needs our love and support. She will be back and her true fans and supporters, like me, will be waiting for her. Thank you Noreen. Bless your heart. Prayers🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 for Kelly and her Girls
I haven't watched Kelly's channel for age so not up todate. Is it appropriate here to mention her tragedy? I will keep her in my prayers!s@bonnieramirez2860
Thank you for sharing these tips, I really like all, but the first one is my favorite. DT sells small silicone mats, and I think I would use that for glue drips instead of the glass. All in all, great video
Thank you Norrine. I love the glue gun holder ideas!! I also do follow Kelly Barlow Creations. How sweet of you to mention to help support her, and I also follow The Posh Paper Lady, Sherry. Love all of you creative ladies!!
Oh my goodness! Your glue gun holder is FABULOUS! That b&w paper, the glass, the black trim-ALL of it-STUNNING and bonus -completely practical and doable! Ok, now I have to redo mine! 😂
Hi Norrine. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing about Kelly Barlow. Also I want you to know that I think you are looking so relaxed and happy. Glad to see that.
Norrine, I loved the black/white glue holder you made. I also follow The Paper Posh Lady & Kelly Barlow Creations. I'm so heartbroken about her loss. There's no way to lesson her family's pain but please continue to watch her channel to show your support.
Here is a tip to get ALL of your E6000 or E7000 out of the tube.."Tooth Paste Squeezer"..comes in a set of 3 or larger (Amazon)..once you get to very end of the tube..cut off at the last crimp and store in a small snap food storage container..will need to use a couple of toothpicks to get out the rest when needed..good luck!
You did a great job with these! I don’t love using a glue gun for so many reasons, but I like the idea of setting up a glue gun station. So glad that you mentioned Kelly. It’s difficult to know how to support people after a personal loss and this is a real and concrete way to support her.
Hi Norrine. It was wonderful of toubto mention Kelly Barlow and aend folks over to give her some love. I am going to make a combination of your favorite holder and the scraper holder😊. Thanks for the great ideas! I also saw the flower organizing video and am starting on that tomorrow. Thank you and God bless.
That was so kind of you to mention Kelly Barlow. My heart is broken for her and her girls. Such a tragedy . I love the same glue gun holder that you do as well As the one with the scraper but would want something that might hold up a bit longer. Thanks for all the options.
I watched this and good for you, for a shout out to Kelly Barlow. I might add that folks can easily send a thank you gift of money. I get that it was not your place to point that out, but here in comments I can.
So fun to see you making stuff again!! Adorable & clever options for the stand!! I hope you are enjoying your new space. Ty so much for mentioning Kelly, life it is just not fair sometimes 💔I liked your idea of watching her videos, I wish there was more we could do. Thank you for your hard work and look forward to the next!🧡🖤🧡
Diane, so do I and went to our $tree and they do not carry the silicone finger holder and it is not on DT's website. Maybe Norrinne could provide a link to it.
OMG I think I might be fan girling a bit right now but I never expected to see the glue gun stand I made years ago before I started TH-cam let alone have your viewers rate it number 2. This is amazing. Subscriber for life!
(🤭 I used to work in advertising at the local radio station and at the beginning you sounded EXACTLY like my old boss😂🤣🤣🤣😂) You are such an angel 😇 to mention Kelly! I see from the comments that lots of your viewers watch her as well. She is, as are you, loved by many people from all over the world! Also very kind of you to mention Sherry! Every time I see her I remember the room organizer the two of you colabbed on! The glue gun holders are fabulous! The turquoise and black one is my favorite. Maybe it's the color, but it also looks like it could weather any storm a crafter could throw at it! I hope your weekend is going well. I must say, it's great to be seeing you more often! Hugs Mini, 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
I made a larger version of Kelly Barlow's glue gun holder years ago and that thing is so sturdy and works like a charm! I literally just made a new one last week just to change the color to match the new look in my craftroom so I'll be passing on the first one to someone who needs it. I just love it so much!
Hi Miss Norrine (interesting spelling; my middle name is Norene😊). I just found your channel this morning; glad I did!My method for keeping my product tubes clean (glues, fabric paints, glitter glues, etc.), is to insert a long straight pin into the opening and then replace the cap. I have used this method for 20 years or more, and it works like a charm. Thank you for your tips and suggestions and I look forward to watching more of your videos. As for Miss Kelly, my heart goes out to her and her family at this difficult time. Thanks again for all you do.
Oh my gosh! I don't find many with my name (even if it's used as your middle name) So nice to meet you!!!! I love the idea of the long straight pin.... I'll have to add that! Thanks for watching, and I hope to see you again!
I use the toothpaste key-type roll up gizmos for all my tube glue, paints, & even tomato paste, if you use the concentrated tube type. They work like a charm! Thank you for all your videos. I learn so much. 😊
I enjoyed this video and am happy to see you being able to post more often. You had a collaboration video with you and the Posh Paper Lady that loved, and I subbed. Thank you, it is heartwarming to hear you mention Kelly. We all have our hardships to weather and/or overcome (as you can attest!), but seeing the heartfelt posts for her is truley lovely to see.
I follow both the posh paper lady and Kelly Barlow creation. They are my favorite TH-cam creators, too. Thank you for mentioning them. And my heart goes to Kelly and her girls.😊Love all the holders the contact paper one is my favorite.
These were all great glue gun holders! Yes, I guessed your favorite! I follow The Posh Paper Lady but didn't know about Kelly Barlow Creations so I will check her out! Thanks for sharing Norrine! Good to have you back! 😍
I really love your samples and will probably combine the first base and holder with the metal scraper and plastic bin of the second 😊 thank you for sharing.
Wow Norrine Eppele, these are awesome. ❤ Guess what ? you just remided me of most Important item that i was missing out on. The Glue gun Station. I almost forgot them. As i am planning to make a tiny miny craft space in my bed room. It totally slipped my mind . Thanks again. Keep rocking. 🥰
I have always loved that contact paper...I hope they haven't made their rolls smaller. So many of Dollar Tree's items have been getting smaller...the crates etc. I do love this glue gun holder. Wow! What a great tip about viewing. I am so happy for you with your marriage. Congratulations to you both. I have loved your tutorials and advice since you were the Clutter Fairy. 🥰. Thank you for your mentioning Kelly Barlow. I also follow her and am so heartbroken for her and her family. 😢 Wow! You just mentioned using an old microwave plate... I just happen to have one and kept it 'just in case'... since one never knows... 🤪
Tip for your E6000 dilemma: try storing it with the tip downward. Also, roll the wider end toward the tip, then use a binder clip to hold it in position. This should prevent struggling to get the glue out every time you use it
Norrine, i think the latch release on the bottom of the stapler is also a staple remover! I got that tip from another DIYer channel. Yes, Kelly is one of my favorite DIY Crafters.❤
Love your black and white one the best! I use a top of a candle jar from bath and body works to catch the glue drips. It hasn't been a problem and it stores away easily.
Love this video, and the possibilities are endless. My favorite too is the one with the paper. You are kind to mention both crafters. Our heart goes out to Kelly Barlow and her family.
I always take the little aluminum stand off all glue guns as soon as I get them. They just get in the way. I made a box tray, sides about 2.5 inches high, with several layers of cardboard from recycling so it is rigid enough to lift it up with everything inside. (Made with the glue gun, natch!). I placed a small metal bowl in it, and also glued a recycled open bottle next to it. Glue sticks go in the bottle. Glue gun lays pointed into the metal bowl. ***Important*** I always keep my gun plugged into an extension cord for ease of use no matter where I need to glue. When not in use, I lay the gun in, point in bowl, and coil the cord with extension around the bottle. Once a year or so, I pull the excess extruded glue out of the metal bowl. Stores easily, transports easily, and costs $00.00!
Norrine you have always been a great host, showing where the credit goes from your videos credits go to, I love the one you made for yourself with the black and white paper. I wish you well wishes. I will check out Kelly again, didn't know something had happened. Out of touch with the moving around. Hugs from Afar. 🤗
Norrine, thank you for replying to my comment, it meant a lot to me. I really wish I had seen this video before I bought my glue gun holder from Nemu. It is OK, but I would have made mine, had I seen your black and white flowered one. I too love the contact paper from Dollar Tree. It has been discontinued at my store, so I found a very similar contact paper on Amazon. Great ideas! Bye until your next video. ~Debi in Ohio
To speed up using tubes of glue, lotion, etc., I use a Leathercraft Roller that I purchased on Amazon to squeeze all the goop to the open end of the tube. Then I tightly roll the now flattened tube end toward the end with the goop. When I get it rolled as tight and as close as possible, I use a chip clip to secure the tube and keep all the glue, lotions, etc. at the open end. I roll and tighten as needed as I use the product. By the way, I make my chip clips by cutting off the clips from pants hangers. They last forever and I use them all over the house including in the freezer.
I also follow Kelly, so thank you for trying to help her out in this difficult time. DIYers are usually a great community and family. I also wTch the Posh Paper Lady from one of your prior recommendations. So glad to have you back and glad you found a husband that makes you so happy; it shows.
The best tip for getting all the glue to the top is to close it, put it on the floor and stand on the end of it with the heel of your foot - I use this for all tubes (toothpaste, hand cream, glue...)
I love all the options but had made the Jenga block one a couple of year's ago. I couldn't remember which DIY'er I learned it from until you mentioned Kelly. Yes, it is absolutely wonderful to have on my workspace and it keeps the glue-gun from falling over. TFS all of your ideas as with our crafty minds, projects are forever changing so I may make a different one in the future. RIP Ray.
Instead of glass a silicone mat (I believe dollar has some) can be cut cut down to size if need be and stapled down to attach it to the wood. I made a hot glued glue holder using this method and it works well.
Love your video content on organization for the craft room. Its so needed and you can craft your organization too. I love it instead of spending crazy amounts for organization stuff. Who has the money for that?. So please dont ever stop 😂 love this glue station ideas. I am doing renos as well as have to create a craft room in my livingroom in my 1 bedroom house so these really come in handy. Thank you. Haven't come across any content like yours before glad i came across your channel. Take care have a great weekend!😊
I use a small piece of dowel to roll, use a small piece of duck tape to hold dowel in place once you get about 1/2 inch to tape. Start your tape on dowel and press the rest of tape on tube of glue, roll when needed.
I use from dollar tree the toothpaste rollers on my tube of E6000. E700 I bought from Amazon and idk what kind of glue that is but didn't hold my project together at all. I'm a firm believer in E6000 when I 1st started making jewelry over 10yrs ago that's the glue we used and was only available at a jewelry supply store where they sell all jewelry making tools n beads etc.
Hello Norrine another fantastic video! I've been searching for glue gun holders for awhile now but you've shown us the best ideas. I really like the 1st one you made but the others are really good too. See you soon 🤗
Norrine: awesome collection👏👏👏 Something for everyone! Yes Kelly has been in my prayer list during this journey💐✝️🙏🏻 Sherry has a fantabulous channel🥰 Thank You my friend 🥰❤️😀 19:56
First, I love the lights you added! Second, I voted for the dual holder but after seeing the single one with the removable scraper …..❤❤❤ thanks for showing the differences and how easy all of them are to create. 😊❤
My glue sticks are in a square glass container. Thanks for the idea of the metal hanger on blocks to help keep the gluegun upright. I plan to use a 6" glass square from DT as the base.
You’re a wonderful instructor with a very warm loving personality. I picked up a few techniques from you today. Thanks. When I squeeze a glue tube I have a small screw or even a pushpin handy. Otherwise the opening will seal.

Thanks for the video speed tip. I see lots of people complaining about how fast videos are playing. I’ve used the play speed a lot.
I didn't know about the "speed" adjustment before but now It sure js helping. Thank you.
You did a great job with these! I don’t love using a glue gun for so many reasons, but I like the idea of setting up a glue gun station. So glad that you mentioned Kelly. It’s difficult to know how to support people after a personal loss and this is a real and concrete way to support her.

By the way, I love that black and white contac paper. It’s classy and elegant❣️
I had a couch from Ikea 15 or so years ago.... this DollarTree contact paper matched it perfectly! LOL
@@TheCraftyOrganizer That’s funny but awesome too❣️👍🏼👍🏼
I meant to tell you, Thank you so much for the Heart!😊
Kelly Barlow fan also! Thank you so.much for including her
Of course! 💜
That was so kind of you to mention Kelly Barlow. My heart is broken for her and her girls. Such a tragedy . I love the same glue gun holder that you do as well
As the one with the scraper but would want something that might hold up a bit longer. Thanks for all the options.
Yes, I like how easy the scraper projet was... but wished I had found a wood base instead. Thanks for watching 💐
Love your new space and your wonderful organizing ideas. I have used many myself. Your sharing about Kelly just shows what a caring person you are
💐
💐
A Toothpaste Squeezer, would help with the
E-6000.
I was going to suggest the same . You can get a metal key type "toothpaste" winder made for glue tube in your local hardware store
@kimmorin7847
I didn’t know that…that’s a great suggestion to!
@@kimmorin7847 I tried the metal kind and it seemed to split the side of the tube and glue oozed out. Maybe I did it wrong??
Brilliant idea!!!
Norrine this was great. Your tutorials are always easy to understand. Thanks for this video. I do feel so bad for Kelly Barlow. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
💐
I prefer the smaller tubes of E-6000. They seem so much easier to use.
Very kind of you to mention Kelly. I follow her also.
So heartbreaking. 💐
I watched this and good for you, for a shout out to Kelly Barlow. I might add that folks can easily send a thank you gift of money. I get that it was not your place to point that out, but here in comments I can.
Thank you for doing so!!! I wanted to point that out but this didn’t want to draw too much attention 💕

Wow! Thank you, Kristy!!!!
Glad u mention Kelly Barlow. Great job.
It just breaks my heart. I hope she has an amazing support system.
I love the first one also!❤ every one of them a great but the first one is my favorite!❤
Mine too! 💟
Such a cute video. Love Sherry & Kelly Barlow.

My glue gun/s drive me crazy and I’ve been planning to make a stand. Boy have you given me some great ideas. Thanks!
I absolutely love everything you send our way but black & white, tops fir me 🎉thank you.
Me too!!! I can't help it - if it's black and white - I love it! LOL
I really love your samples and will probably combine the first base and holder with the metal scraper and plastic bin of the second 😊 thank you for sharing.
Use a hair color tube roller (guessing what they actually call it) that you can get it at a beauty supply. It looks like a tube with a key in the end
Norrine, try placing the tube of glue into a container of hot water to warm it up 😊
What a great idea!!!!
I love that first one! I know what I will be making next

What?!?!!!? I’m totally gonna have to see if mine has a staple remover that’s genius!!!
I was 67 years old when I found out about the staple remover!! All these year's! Who knew!

Instead of glass a silicone mat (I believe dollar has some) can be cut cut down to size if need be and stapled down to attach it to the wood. I made a hot glued glue holder using this method and it works well.
That’s a great idea. Thank you for sharing.
I'm so happy to have you here with me! Thanks for watching!
I love the 1st one you did. Oh...I really loved the intro...it's so fun!😂😅😂
Yay! Thank you!
to get the glue out of the tube, use one of those things you use to squeeze the last of the toothpaste out
That is super smart!!!!
I use a small piece of dowel to roll, use a small piece of duck tape to hold dowel in place once you get about 1/2 inch to tape. Start your tape on dowel and press the rest of tape on tube of glue, roll when needed.
Great suggestion!!
I am so sorry to hear about Kelly Barlow. Keep her and her family in your prayers and thoughts. X 0
Hank you so much! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
You are so welcome!
For glue, I use a toothpaste roller and stick a pin down it to clean nozzle. Then put top on
Great idea
I also love your organization with you videos and how you get right to business!
Thank you so much!
@@TheCraftyOrganizer just like the Posh Paper Lady!!
I absolutely love the first one you made, so pretty! I’m definitely making that one!
Yay! Thank you!

Another fantastic video. Thank you for sharing and the wonderful ideas.
You are so welcome!
First, I love the lights you added! Second, I voted for the dual holder but after seeing the single one with the removable scraper …..❤❤❤ thanks for showing the differences and how easy all of them are to create. 😊❤
Sorry I didn’t make yours- but glad you liked the video!!
Great ideas…. I have a need….ther rest is up to me.
My glue sticks are in a square glass container. Thanks for the idea of the metal hanger on blocks to help keep the gluegun upright. I plan to use a 6" glass square from DT as the base.
Perfect!
I absolutely LOVE the same one you do! ❤
You can get little tube squeeze objects for toothpaste. Those are very cheap and work easily on Anything in a tube.
Great idea!
Absolutely outstanding video. So helpful and interesting. Thank you very much!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks sooooo much for the realsome ideas. Now, I can deal with my troublesome glue gun.
Yay!!!
You’re a wonderful instructor with a very warm loving personality. I picked up a few techniques from you today. Thanks. When I squeeze a glue tube I have a small screw or even a pushpin handy. Otherwise the opening will seal.
I am going to do that!
For the E6000 Maybe one of those toothpast tube rollers? I thought of this just as you got to the gluing on your project, so I havent tried it yet! 😂
Great idea!!!
