Loving Fermented February and all goodies. This recipe in particular is a great way to use up bits and pieces. So many things can crawl into the back of the fridge and die a green fuzzy death, but this saves them.
I have to agree with everyone that those veggies look delicious. I never think about fermenting anything until I see someone munching on what they made. I need to start planning and doing and not procrastinating. Thanks for sharing with us.
My mom would make something similar to this. It wasn't fermented. She would use a brine and can it. She would use what was left in the garden at the end of the season. Thank you for sharing.
I was at Costco today and rather than buying the individual ingredients to make this recipe, I bought the vegetable tray that had cauliflower, celery, broccoli, peppers, green beans, and carrots in it so I can probably make 2 half gallon jars out of this, so I’m pretty excited about This and hopefully it will turn out great!
Yay, it’s Julie!!! Great to see you participating and you look fantastic! I’ve wanted to pickle this but just never have. I think now fermenting would be better. Thanks for sharing and happy fermenting!
This one sounds so good to me! I definitely need to learn more on fermenting to be able to do these sort of things. Thank you for sharing and being in this collaboration! Great video!!
Wow! The color is beautiful and looks delicious too. I would like this as a snack when I'm craving not so good foods. lol Thanks for sharing this recipe with us and for being part of Fermented February 2024!!
I'm going to make this in a smaller jar. As only 1 person that eats fermented anything in this house, I have to make small batches of things. Thank you for showing us how this is created.
I was trying to do a ferment in one of my gallon containers and my pucks didn't work out well. I never thought to put them inside a ziplock bag so I'm glad I got to watch your video. Thank you.
That’s so pretty! My husband’s family has made a mixture they called Turshoo. They are Armenian heritage and many recipes have been handed down. This is a vegetable blend that I think we would love! Thank you for participating and sharing this with us!
I need to make me a batch of that Gardiniera! What a party in a jar...:) So pretty....I've never used okra, but between you and Anna using it - and fermenting it - I'll go for it this season. Thank you for participating again this February XO
I love a good gardiniera. After watching your video today, I am ready to kick it up a notch and make a fermented gardiniera. That looks so good and as you mention, it is great for a quick snack. Thanks to Anna for her Fermented February, I have found some new channels and I subscribed here to enjoy more of your projects.
Absolutely love this recipe... thank you so very much for sharing this recipe and for participating in this collaboration. Wishing you a very Blessed day 😊
I love Gardiniera! But fermented Gardiniera sounds fantastic! Thank you Julie for sharing this recipe with us… can’t wait to try it! I love that you added Garlic to it! ❤️ 👏🏼
This looks beautiful! The crunchy sound makes me hungry. I'm so happy you demonstrated this. This will go on my list of things I need to try this year for sure. Thank you!!!
I am SO glad to have seen this, because somehow TH-cam changed my notifications setting for you, and I haven't seen you in forever. I'm glad to have you back on my radar (and settings changed back). Now I'm going to catch up on videos. Also, I'm not a cauliflower fan, but I will try this just to see if it's a way I can stand to get in some cauliflower. Thank you so much!
I have planned on pickling gardiniera, but I never thought of fermenting it. Thank you for sharing. Thank all of you who are participating in fermented February, its great. I'm learning so much. Thank you Anna. 😊
We will definitely start fermenting giardiniera! Mainly because it is a key ingredient for making the olive salad for muffuletta! Can't wait to try it out.
That jar is filled with so many pretty colours! While I have not yet heard of Gardiniera, it sounds amazing, will definitely have to be trying this! Thank you for this amazing video and for being a part of this wonderful collab!
I love that word Gardiniera, This looks so good and I love the crunch...Sounds so good, This would be good just for snacking....Thank you for sharing this great Ferment...
What a beautiful ferment. The vegetables look so great in the jar, even after fermentation. I haven't fermented much beyond sauerkraut, but I'm going to have to try more after watching this. Thank you for the video.
It is very colorful, and I bet delicious. I have added this recipe to my Youtuebe cookbook fermentation section. I will be making it this year from my garden. Thank you for sharing. Susan
That was a beautiful jar! This will be one that I try. I like what you said about the veggies more readily available. That is true. Thank you for sharing.
You make it look so easy, and it probably is pretty easy, yet I'm still a little scared to start fermenting. Maybe it's because I forget things so quickly, like checking in on it. I have a tendency to start out projects with the best of intentions & then rediscover what I started because it turned into a science project & I had to track down what died!!! Having said that, your Giardiniera looks delicious & I do want to try making it. Thanks for being a Fermented February collaborator 🥕🫑🧄🧅😁
I always have a jar of pickled veggies like this for salads and such but not a fermented jar. I love how they look in the large jar. We eat with our eyes first they say and I think this is true.
What a pretty jar. I would leave out the okra and add jalapeno. Thanks for being a part of the collaboration.
Thank you for this recipe choice, it has moved to the top of the list. Also for participating in Fermented February and Anna for this Collaboration.
Thank you for being a part of fermented February and sharing your recipe with all of us!
THAT is gorgeous. So many things to try and ferment. YAY! Thank you for joining the collaboration and sharing this.
That is a thing of beauty. I’m going to have ferments going all over my house because of this collaboration. 😊
Thanks for participating in Fermented February! I’m learning so much!
Julie, you look fabulous! I love that you can put whatever you want in this ferment. Oh the possibilities!
Thank you I really like this idea of fermenting it instead of pickling it

So excited to learn new things. Thank you for participating.
Getting to spend 15 minutes with you is the ultimate blessing. Thank you Julie. Much love.
Julie, you look so good. It’s so good to see you. Blessings
That truly is a beautiful ferment. I have wanted to do a larger jar and am thankful to finally see someone do a gallon size. Thanks!
I love it pickled so I would imagine fermented is even better. Love how colorful it is.
My mom would make something similar to this. It wasn't fermented. She would use a brine and can it. She would use what was left in the garden at the end of the season. Thank you for sharing.
It really is pretty in the jar! This is definitely on my to-ferment list! Thanks for sharing and being a part of Fermented February again!

Never knew what Gardiniera was. It looks beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to share!
I buy this at the store all the time, don’t know why I haven’t made my own yet. Thank you Julie for the Inspiration!
Glad you added the garlic. This is something we will be trying when the garden comes in this year. Thank you for the great video.
I am learning so much / my first year to watch. I can see this could be made any time of the year. Thank you so much for sharing.
Just when i think this month cant get any better, something like this comes out
Yay, it’s Julie!!! Great to see you participating and you look fantastic! I’ve wanted to pickle this but just never have. I think now fermenting would be better. Thanks for sharing and happy fermenting!
