Hi mike ill be doing a large # of tools in this series!! i feel its inportant!! thanks my friend!!!!
Williams is in the house!!!
Go USA!!! hope you guys are enjoying the USA series!!!!
I love that screwdriver set. Cant beat old school hard handles.
I agree josh!! thanks for checking in!!
The Bingo basket is cool Jeff, but its that (cow) bell that puts the contest over the top!
Will keep doing it!! you guys seem to love it!!stay tuned, thanks my friend!!
I like this Williams set! This is a handle style I like (call me weird). Of course, I like the London Pattern variation on the classic Craftsman screwdrivers too. Thanks for sharing, Jeff!
Hi Bruce i like this style the best also!!! thanks Bruce!!!!
Williams tools are a great option. Thanks for showcasing "affordable" made USA tools.
Should be a good series!!! thanks remfj!!
Got a set of these a few months ago. Love them and should have gotten them years ago. These are snap on all day long!
They are nice!! thanks booster for joining in!!
Thanks, Jeff! Top shelf set of screwdrivers there!
Yea i love these!! thanks my friend, stay cool!!!!
Old style handle is great when they get dirty easy to clean it up
They sure do larry, thanks for joining in!!!
I have a set of vessel screwdrivers that are in my opinion, the best screwdrivers your money can buy. There is not a better, more durable, or a more fairly priced screwdriver set on the market. Period. They are perfect in every way. They are tang through, they have bolsters, the grips are perfect, the Phillips end have little non slip biting marks, and they perform better than any other screwdrivers on the market, end of story. I did however purchase the 8 piece Williams screwdriver set, but not to use the way you'd think. I bought them for 1 reason and 1 reason only, to use the hard handles as donor hard handles for my non snap on ratchets lol. Sometimes you have to drill the center out a little more, but they work great!! The whole set is less than the price of 2 snap on hard handles, and you get 8 hard handles out of this set. I know snap on offers many other colors, but I prefer the black because it doesn't get all messed up so quickly.
i like the Vessel screwdrivers, there in my rotation, lol!! great idea for the williams screwdriver handles!! how do you get them off, without damage?
Agree on buying USA tools whenever possible...as long as the quality is there, which it typically is.
Yes sir!!! i have lots in this series, should be good!!! thanks my friend!!!
Great video!! Williams has a nice line of USA tools! And you are correct prices are going up so get them now!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Yea they have gone up since i bought them!!! thanks blueboy!!
Williams is in the house!! Have a great day man!
Thanks Greyguse,stay cool!!!!
Great deal thanks for the video on the USA screwdrivers!
Thanks luke for joining in!!!!
I really liked that handle design. It gave a great grip. Williams have the grip. Now all they need to do is put them on some ratchets. A nice 36 tooth long handle 3/8 flex head 11" overall length. I can live with the black handle. 🤣🤣
You think they would, you and i would buy the whole lot, lol!!! thanks my friend!!!
This would make a great Christmas gift for someone!
Sure would marko!! is it hot where you are,its hot here, lol!!
@@jefftovani5535 Im fairly close to you. I'm in the Hudson Valley, NY, Putnam county
Thanks, Jeff!
Good stuff!
Thanks Jay for taking the time to watch!!
I love the all phillips set. I have the SO set and I love them. Take care Jeff
Same here jethro!! seems more practical then a mixed set!! for a mechanic that is!!!thanks my friend!!!
I like the hard handles. I looked at these but took other roads. Good lookin set for sure. Thanks Jeff. Keep em comin
Thanks james for joining in!!!
From what I've read, if the williams tool part number starts with a letter, its USA made. If its all numbers, its most likely imported.
Thats true!! thanks for sharing with the channel!!!
Bought the Williams screwdrivers a week ago. They are very nice.
Great to hear you like them my friend!!! thanks for joining in!!!
I already had the Snap On hard handle screwdriver set and picked this up as a back up/road set. One warning with Williams, if you buy the set with flat tips, the tip may not be lined up perfectly with the handle.
I heard that about the flat tips!! one reason i got the all phillips set!! thanks mike for sharing with the channel!!
I like the handles they feel good in the hand
Thanks paul for sharing that!!!
Those look like some old-time Snap On ones from way back in the day.
They sure do google, thanks for checking in!!!
They are. Snappy used that handle in the 1980's and '90's.
@@ronaldjohnson1474 So did Husky (Stanley Works at the time), as did MAC. I have several like that. For a time, HD was taking any name brand tools as trades against Husky for free. I swapped out several older units (nothing great) for a set of Husky USA at the time (circa 2000).
I wish a USA made brand would put out a line of JIS tipped screwdrivers for us powersports jdm guys. If you own anything made by a Japanese brand, you need JIS tip drivers to keep the screw heads from stripping out. And, they work just fine on regular phillips head screws. There's a few more Vessel drivers i dont have yet but, after that, I'll be purchasing a decent set of USA made drivers to replace the old Gearwrench set I've been using for years. It'll probably be Mayhew or Klein, i like the handles on both of those.
Been looking at the mayhew screwdrivers are they still made here like there pry bars?
I recently bought the Williams ratcheting wrench in metric. They are good quality and price but made in TW. I wish this screwdriver set also includes JIS type.
There ratchet wrenches are nice!! i wish they had a JIS set as well!! thanks for checking in!!
I gotta get this set now since you showed how good they are. I have been thinking about them. I did pop on a 10" long Snappy Ratchet screwdriver on eBay. Then, later, I got a sweet deal on a regular length Williams ratcheting screwdriver also. They are both really sweet and smooth as ef. But I do believe the Williams is a bit better, to be honest. They are absolutely identical except for the color. The Williams is actually blue, not black. I would absolutely pop on the Williams again without a thought. I definitely gotta invest in more Williams tools. Great video Jeff and I gotta go and make sure I commented on last Friday's video.
Williams tools are nice, even the Taiwan ones!! im buying another williams screwdriver set for a future give away!!!!! thanks my friend for sharing your thoughts on williams!!!!
These William's screwdriver handles are the best ever for mechanics. The newer Snap-On handles are made for "technicians".
I agree ron!! thanks for checking in!!!
Hard to beat a Williams , l have always said that Snap on are the Williams bo bo line ha ha , l have never had any of there screwdrivers but a Jeff time tested and rated excellent tool would be agreat investment. Radio says temp will hit 110 again Thanks again Jeff
110 boy i would be hiding inside with the AC on drinking a ice cold beer watching you tube, lol!! thanks my friend, stay cool!!!!!
Jeff, please disregard this if you already said this, or if someone else addressed this.
Just wanted to share this, I believe it’s correct.
When it comes to Williams tools, if the part number has both letters AND numbers, then it’s USA made. Part numbers with letters are their USA line.
If the part number is numbers only then it’s Taiwan or other offshore.
If I’m wrong someone please let me know but I believe that holds true
Your correct my friend, thanks for joining in!!
Thanks for this series Jeff I think it's a great think to point out that there is still some great tools being made in the USA. I know Ernst don't make tools but they do make some great organizational items for your tools and I think they are all made in the USA. I also try to buy USA tools when I can my friend.
Hi joe i thought there was a need to do this series!! some people dont know whats still being made here!!! thanks joe for joining in!!!!
Love that handle.
Hi jim they are nice!!! go USA!!! thanks my friend!!!
Great looking screwdrivers at a 1/3 the cost of Snap-on that's a bargain if you ask me. Thanks Jeff great series
Yea there a nice set at a decent price no doubt!! thanks mike!!
I love the old black handle drivers. If you have a Japanese car you will need a JIS screwdriver too.
Hi sooper yes a JIS screwdriver is a must as well!!!! thanks my friend!!!
Ill tell ya, The Wright round head ratchets with the smooth grip, not the knurled, are my favorite ratchets of all time. And a heck of a bargin, would love to see them reviewed to get some more eyes on them, they are way under rated
wright ratchet is in the series, stay tuned my friend!! thanks!!
The reason to put your hand behind something to achieve focus is to block the background that has an established focus. Since you can't seem to do this with success... get a piece of black construction paper to use in place of your hand. Once the camera focuses on your whiteboard or the Chevy mat with all that crisp writing... you can't just block out 40% of it to get the camera to choose a new point to focus on. Simplify your background. Keep your cue card off screen. Elevate production value. Less is more.
USA tools are in the house. Very nice screwdrivers mr jeff
One of my favorites!!! thanks hardnose for checking in!!!
Every ones in awhile i find them in a pawnshop and ick them up
Hi Papa thats a great way to buy them!!!
PH3 crops up more often than you'd think, but I'm not sure that I've ever needed a PH4 screwdriver. As far as the made in USA series, how about covering some Mayhew, Starrett or Lang? They're all great American tool companies.
Yes my friend will have some you mentioned, stay tuned, thank you!!!
Williams has a Taiwan line and USA line, the ratchets look like the blue point ones you have shown before.
Hi Tad thanks for joining in!!!
Their USA sockets are also worth a look.
Hi chris we used them at work, they hold up well!!! thanks chris!!!
My favorite brand of screwdriver is Klein, also made in USA
Hi seth its in the series!! stay tuned, thanks my friend!!
Hay Jeff, I have 5 of this type of screwdrivers stamp with snap-on when snap-on still carried them. I have the 4" #2, stubb, #1, #2 8" and 8" flat head, I love the handles
Thanks Rob for sharing that with the channel!!
I have the old snapon ones that look the same they have held up for 30 years
Thanks john for joining in and sharing!!!!
This set would go good with my Snap On and Tekton USA sets. Lol
There really nice screwdrivers!!! thanks for joining in!!!!
I guess I'm going to have wayyyyyy too many screwdrivers pretty soon. :) Oh well, time to weed some out and put 'em in the upcoming garage sale.
Hi Starship, same here, lol!! thank for checking in!!
Those really look nice. I have USA craftsman screwdrivers...which are decent but not great.
Thanks M4 for taking a gander!!!
Jeff, I bought both the Williams and the K-tool screwdriver sets on your previous recommendations. FYI, I also have and like the Craftsman V-Series screwdrivers.
Thanks for sharing that my friend!! i always try to give honest reviews and let you guys decide whats rite for you!!
All Phillips? Never saw a set like that. Cool.
Hi louis yea i like that!!! thanks my friend!!!
Right on
I like the handles
There nice, feel great in the hand!!! thanks WTBM for checking in!!!
This set is just as good as Snap on IMO you can mess these up and still afford many more sets , as opposed to , buying the Snap on ones are all about the name IMO
Hi marc your spot on with your thinking!! thanks my friend!!!!
Jeff this is going to sound kinda dumb BUT, I’ve spent the money on the Snappys….. mostly because I went with the Hi Viz simply because they’re easier for me to spot from across the shop. And I know they’re good quality. My other favorites are the Wihas especially where torx is concerned. Used the crap out of them in the machine shops I’ve worked. Them and then Bondhus ball end allen keys.
I’d take the SK wrenches even though I already have a set. They are nicely executed.
Hi my friend nothing dumb about not wanting to loose your expensive tools!! i myself am blind!! its what ever works for you thats inportant!!! those Bondhus t handles are very nice,i own some!!! thanks my friend for joining in!!!
Nice set 👍👍
Thank you Harry!!
Williams ratcheting flex head wrenches are made in Taiwan. Still very nice, but not US made. Their Super Combo wrenches are US made and are great.
Williams ratchet wrenches are nice, even though Taiwan!!! ill be doing a series on flex-head ratchet wrenches in a few weeks!!! thanks for checking in my friend!!!
I buy the same screwdrivers from my Caterpillar dealer - rebranded by CAT
Hi scott thats a great option!! thanks for sharing!!!
great review like to see review on garage .maybe get some ideas on mine
Hi john ill slide a video on the shop soon, stay tuned!!!
I am going to have to get a set of these I prefer the original Snap on the red Mac were a good copy I will check with the Strap on dealer Thanks Jeff 👍😎👍
Glad you like them pieman, let me know if you get them!!!
I was going to buy these last year but talked myself out of it because I already had 3 sets of snap on 1 set of Mac and of course plenty of other.
This set being all Phillips is definitely the draw for me. I have a lot of toolbox real estate taken up by flathead screwdrivers that barely get used and probably really belong in the prybar drawer.
Being all phillips was one reason i bought them as well!! very nice set, thanks matt for joining in!!
I prefer to buy American made tools but I am not opposed to buying a quality tool made in another country.
Everybody is different. Buy what you like. If you can only afford Chinese tools right now, they are better than nothing. Everyone starts somewhere.
Yes barry your rite!! i just wanted to do a series on USA tools because there was much interest in it!! thanks my friend!!!
USA for the win
Yes sir!!! this is a good series to do!! thanks warren!!
I'd like to think the tekton set I have is pretty comparable with these. Tough to say without having them side by side. *Hint hint*
Hi Rob thanks for the suggestion, will do at some point thanks my friend!!
I just picked a few Tekton #2 phillips and they fit screws so well i can hold the screw and the screwdriver stays right in it. wonder if they are made in the same factory as the Williams.
Im not sure who makes Tekton screwdrivers, thats a great question!! thanks for joining in my friend!!!!
Good Morning Sir
Yes sir my friend, stay cool over there in New York!!! thanks for checking in!!!
@@jefftovani5535 ohh no Sir , I'm also in Mass. Lynn (the city of sin) to be exact
Oh ok!! sorry for the mistake,im usually on top of it,but i talk to lots of you guys!!!i love the feedback, and just love talking with you guys!!! take care!!
In my quest for some nice screwdrivers i ordered a few of these. On the ones i received the crome was absolutely terrible. I sent them back. I love this style handle and williams tools in general. I sure was disappointed.
Hi leanord that surprises me,that the first negative complaint ive heard on this set!! sorry to hear that, mine were fine!! every brand has lemons!!! thanks for sharing!!!
That's right, nobody is perfect all the time. Maybe I'll try again. I did get some vessel screwdrivers after i sent the williamsback. Like others have mentioned, they are nice. I'm old school I like the classic square handle and craftsman handles better a bit better.
Ever review First info ratchets? They are made in Taiwan but have a nice feel to them. Amazon
No i never did a reveiw on the brand,im taking a look, thanks my friend!!
Very Good screwdrivers! USA 🟥⬜🟦
Hi don you knew i couldnt leave these out of the USA series, lol!!
Thanks Jeff, i was actually looking for a backup set of screwdrivers 🪛
I think youll like these!! thanks for checking in!!
