@@simplyabandoned9547 Look, women have different "anatomy" from men, so when two women want to "dance the bed tango" they need to improvise. TLDR: When you don't have a key to a keyhole, you lockpick.
6:38 I don't see a lot of people jumping in to say that an opposite sex couple could just be a brother and sister taking care of the kids while the other spouse takes a break.
8:49 I'm pretty sure the geckos the person is talking about isn't all geckos, but this one species called the 'mourning gecko' which, yes, reproduce without males. They are parthenogenic, which means they reproduce asexually; once mourning geckos reach sexual maturity they lay eggs, which are clones of themselves (since there is no male to add genetic diversity). However, one mourning gecko cannot reproduce on its own, and does need the presence, and yes 'stimulation,' of another mourning gecko to reproduce, so who's to say they aren't lesbian geckos ;-)
The term for the gecko's who reproduce without males is parthenogenesis! It's a phenomenon where a female animal can fertilize her own eggs, and reproduce this way, which makes males unnecessary in the species. This also means that, outside of some little mutations, all those geckos are genetically identical, so basically clones!
She may be confusing geckos with the desert grassland whiptail. The DGW is a single species of lizard that does reproduce through parthenogenesis. I don't think that all species of geckos are lesbians.
When it comes to the whiptail lizard, they also engage in a lesbian courtship ritual to initiate parthenogenesis, even though there's no mating involved.
Parthenogenesis also isn't exclusive to lizards. Boas for instance can occasionally reproduce through this way, although it's only one baby that's born instead of the usual 16 (can go up to over 50). And due to this, it's unlikely you'll notice until the baby hatches and they finally come out of the mother (boas incubate internally), because the mother won't have the standard gravid appearance due to only having one egg. It is very rare though.
ima say this as a guy, likeing 'girly' things is 'gay' the girliest' thing is the world is a girl so the most GAY thing in the world by that logic is to marry a girl aslo how the heck did gay go from meaning happy to an insult?

Somewhere around 14:00, That egyptian is Hatshepsut. They are called the forgotten pharaoh. Idk if they were trans or not but basically the next in line for pharaoh was a kid. They tutored him and essentially acted as the pharoah while the kid grew up. They made alot of progress and I believe they ended up as a co-pharoah. They also ended up presenting as a masculine figure and renamed themself Mahatkare(might have that name wrong) about halfway through their rule and idk if it was to be more respected or if they were trans but yeah that's how they ended up in a male coffin. When they died their co-pharoah destroyed alot of the memorabilia of them so they were effectively erased from history for quite awhile and not much is known about them and that's a big deal for egyptians bc alot of their afterlife beliefs have to do with memory/legacy so ye. I hope me trying to chaotically explain something I spent like a day studying when I was bored a couple months ago is somewhat helpful or entertaining and at least makes a bit of sense. Edit: in case I didn't make it clear I am pretty sure they were trans.
Are you saying they found Hatshepsut's coffin, but didn't know whose it was? Because if they did know, they wouldn't have had to come up with this "mortician's mistake" example, since Hatshepsut presenting masculine is a really well-known thing. However, I don't know why I hadn't considered whether Hatshepsut was trans before. It usually gets explained as a "Oh, a woman can't be pharaoh? Well, what if I wear a beard, then?" kind of thing, which isn't AS implausible for back then as now (when strict gendered career roles are less a thing). But since I've lately been applying the rule of "if they lived as the other gender for basically their entire life, rather than to accomplish some time-limited goal or as a clear fashion/political statement, then they were probably trans"...probably should apply that logic here too. So thanks for that!
@@PirateQueen1720 I don't know exactly what you mean by the question but they had already been essentially ruling for awhile before they started presenting as masculine and though the majority of pharaohs have been male due to the connection between the pharaoh and Horus but there have been multiple female pharaohs. Edit: let me know if I worded any of that weirdly.

5:18 t reminds me of an interesting fact: the character named James in the song Betty by Taylor Swifft is based on the name ofJames Taylor, and that's the name Taylor Swift's mom chose Taylor's name from (because her mom wanted a name neutral if she was born a boy or girl, and if she were to use her name publicly in some profession, like JK Rowling did to avoid sexism). So indirectly James could be Taylor's alter in music. But as Taylor Swift says, she wants her fans to think about their relationships and not hers when listening to songs so she didn't like to reveal who (which boyfriend) the song was based on.
the song "Michelle" by Sir Chloe is presumed to be a girl trying not to fall in love with Michelle someone commented something similar to this and another person replied saying something like, "stop trying to make everything gay"
I think she is talking about morning geckos not all geckos are like that and morning geckos do still produce eggs they just strictly reproduce parthonaginically

@Olivia Carrender Intersex, is when somebody is born with genitals that don't follow the gender binary. It's different from transgender. Transgender is when somebody is assigned a gender at birth but they know that that gender isn't correct. They're both umbrella terms. Now I'm not intersex or transgender so take what I say with a grain of salt and if any intersex or transgender people correct me take their word not mine. I'm just sharing what I've seen online.

I'm pretty sure the geckos the person is talking about isn't all geckos, but this one species called the 'mourning gecko' which, yes, reproduce without males.
And what they mentioned, whiptail lizards, are actually a separate family from geckoes caused by hybridization.
Not all geckos are all female but there is a parthenogenetic Australian gecko who are.
An entire species of roommates.
Really good contents insurance too.
An entire species of besties🥰🥰🥰
In a historical sense 😏
The term for the gecko's who reproduce without males is parthenogenesis! It's a phenomenon where a female animal can fertilize her own eggs, and reproduce this way, which makes males unnecessary in the species. This also means that, outside of some little mutations, all those geckos are genetically identical, so basically clones!
She may be confusing geckos with the desert grassland whiptail. The DGW is a single species of lizard that does reproduce through parthenogenesis. I don't think that all species of geckos are lesbians.
@@david2869 Mourning geckos actually reproduce this way, and are relatively easy to keep in captivity.
@@david2869 Not all species, but at least eight can reproduce by parthenogenesis, and mourning geckos have no more fertile males ^^
It is very rare though.
ima say this

the girliest' thing is the world is a girl

because aparently to cool kids being happy is bad, girls suck but remember you can't be gay either!
ik like what logic and human decency was thrown out the window there
Fun fact: things that most consider girly were made for men. Like high heels, dresses(for men and women), makeup, wigs, ect. So when people call u girly for ever wearing any of this just remind them that these things were made for men and women.😁

So indirectly James could be Taylor's alter in music.
But as Taylor Swift says, she wants her fans to think about their relationships and not hers when listening to songs so she didn't like to reveal who (which boyfriend) the song was based on.
