I always do it in groups with my classmates and I have a problem copying down things so my friends and I dictate the things while studying and when we finished with the homework we ask some questions to each other, discuss the difficult parts and in between take breaks and talk and play. I'm actually kinda different from other people but I've always done my homework with my friends of my same class interestingly and sometimes we challenge ourselves by putting a timer or challenging who would finish first.

well. you don't have to study whole year for board exams. the last three months are more than enough for scoring good marks in cbse.
