I went through medical school a few years after my brother Mike. So I thought I had all the juicy secrets. But it turns out that after I tried his methods, my grades got worse and I was struggling more than before. It took some time before I realized that everything I knew about studying was wrong. In fact, I was lied to by most successful students about how I should be studying. The thing is, everyone can only give advice based on what they know or what works for them. But we have to learn what works for US. The first step in self-discovery is to learn about our brain type. It guides us to focus on the right things and our behaviors. Dude I HAVE to take notes!!! Like have to!! If not I miss out one the help of muscle memory. Sometimes I can be righting things down then my teachers like this will be on the test. I usually put stars next to it. Then later on I recall it soooo much easier not because my teacher said it but because I remembered writing it with the stars. It's my how to for the day.

Loved this! Kitsune here. I've realized that I do better with creative tasks - new projects I have never done before, design etc, and I get bored doing the same thing very quickly! To stay motivated, I have to be doing several things so that I can switch from one thing to another when I feel stressed. I also multitask well and anxiety becomes the push I need to meet deadlines.

im also tora but im also can speak georgian and english and thats a sign of a bilingual brain basically a bilingual brain makes up to speaking two defrint languages and half of te world has that ability to speak two langagues or even all languages

Your videos are so good that before I start to watch it, I add it to my student tips.
It's a very interesting but also difficult set of questions to answer. I realised I don't really know myself that well. I always dreamt of having many skills but I never got to actually learn any of them. Your videos make me realise I just never really approached it right and instead of being discouraged I should just start learning. I think after I do that answering those questions would be easier, and my answers may change as well. I'm looking forward to getting to know myself more and seeing what I'm really capable of :D
me too, i feel like i could nearly cross all the answers .. for example sleep : i fall asleep very easily, but i also wake up often in the night. in the mornings tho, i have a really hard time getting out of bed. which answer should i write down now? :D

Hmm, perhaps you are still a adolescent, teen, or kids. Once you reached age 19, ideally you will know yourself better. Because experience ideally growing along with our ages and from that experience we will able to observe ourselves.
Team Tora here! I liked the test,but i think we should look for all the answers statistics,cause we all have some differences at the learning and studying process,so it's normal and more accurate to look over your results to see your style at that specific area.
I think that Cajun Koi Academy could make some more profound videos acording to that answers.And put some videos to the parts we got so divided in two alternatives,so we can learn more about what's the biased option,and the secondary one,which we could have more difficulty with that,or it is already a fixed part of our style.

I'm a Tora as well and I totally agree that we should study about all of the 3 bcs then we could find what parts relate to what type. I researched and discovered I'm a Tora who tends a lot to be a Kitsune as well. I don't think it's necessary to make different videos for everything, we can discover those things for ourselves if we consider learning about all of the types.

This is actually why I ranked my answers. I ranked 7 As 1st but I also ranked 7 Bs 2nd (also found myself thinking hard if my answer was actually A or B*). I also watched both Tora and Kitsune vids. Although I am in team Tora, I wanna see if incorporating some tips from the Kitsune would help me with my goals and daily activities.

I got a tie between A's and B's I honestly feel more related to "B" on burnt out days or reset days And related to "A" throughout the rest of the week. I take my time and space while seeing things from multiple perspective.

I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the video. Typically, I go into quizzes like this with the specific mindset of “they can’t perfectly adjust these questions, so they can’t have perfect answers”.
I tied between Tora and Kuma, so I’m pleased to see how balanced my brain is! As fun as it would be to pick a group of like-minded individuals, I do strive to be well-rounded, stable, yet adaptable.

The 1st time I answered the test, I was Tora, then the 2nd time I was Kitsune. I assessed myself, because sometimes I think I know myself but I really don't. Sometimes I like this thing then a voice in my head would say " remember when this happened and you did this?", so I get second thoughts. I think Tora is someone I'm aiming to be, but deep inside I am a Kitsune. I have problems of a Kitsune and mindset of a Tora. My grades and mindset have been deteriorating since few years ago, and I was hoping I could get back on track. Thanks for everything you do. It helps me a lot. :>

I tested in two different ways.
First is based on my experience and actual action right now
Second is based on my natural self and what I've been doing in my past
It was like... Experienced Nature vs born Nature
ExpN _ A, A, B, A, B, B, A, A, A, A (most are A)
BornN _ B, A, A, B, B, A, B, C, A, A (5A, 4B, 1C, so... most are A again)
In conclusion, I was conflicted Tora in the past but now I'm evolved into complete Tora.

It’s really interesting to watch these videos. I’ve matched into both tora and Kuma multiple times when I take the tests and it gave me some insight as to how I work. I can be extremely passionate, dedicated, and hardworking when it comes to achieving my goals, and I also like to take the lead in group projects, like a tora. But when it comes to interacting with others, I tend to be easygoing and I don’t like to have others stress out about things like the way I do, so I also try to be the calm and “go with the flow” one like Kuma. I like to just help out in whatever way I can. I enjoyed delving into my own personality like that.
I feel the same way! As I went through the test, I think I became more convinced I'm a Kuma but I think I can be a mix of the two, depending on the situation (which is after all what personality is lol)
I have the same problem but with Kitsune and Kuma. My guess is we can be both. Like he said we all have all three types within ourselves where is primary and others secondary. Which mean that those types of brains are a spectrum and not definitive squares were you can only be in one. So guess that makes me half Kitsune and Kuma, while you are half Tora and Kuma.

Team Tora here! I'm often a planner and going with the flow isn't my strong suit, my mother and I would often plan vacations and events weeks or even months in advance then hit them all once the time comes. Any interruptions in this will annoy the crud out of us even when we don't show it.

As i read some of the comments and had my experience with the test i can say this that the most important thing out of all is that you have to self reflect and try to assess what works for you the best and not try to fit into the clubs; the clubs just show you a common path towards the goal, but as every person is unique we need to take the clubs as a base and build off our own path according to how we thrive!
Personally i had relatable traits from all the three clubs even after watching the seperate dedicated videos of each club....

After watching the individual videos I noticed that I'm a strong mix of different traits of all three, making it hard to figure myself out. Though my test had mostly As and some Cs, I found that the traits described in both were quite relatable to me, including Kitsune. I'm going to look more into the videos associated with them to try and figure myself out more.

In quite many cases, i would have done a mix of several options.
(largely depending on context.)
It's a fun little self-test, but i usually don't like putting a label on stuff and limiting it to that.
It's just hindering and counterproductive to do so, because it easily leads one to the false conclusion of believing to know all of it.
Even though humanity sure has a knack for doing so with basically anything.

I watched all three of the types videos and I'd say I'm 50% kitsune, 40% kuma and 10% tora. Oddly enough this test here said i mostly relate to the tora.

Sooo... I have A=4, B=3, C=3. Which would mean I'm Tora but that also means I'm 40% Tora and Kitsune and Kuma each 30%. Meaning there is nothing that actually gets a majority.
I'm just replying because I got A=3 B=3 C=4 and that seems like a toss-up to me because for some of the questions, I just picked the best available option. I really didn't find this quiz very helpful. I'm surprised there aren't a ton of responses like ours.

You can check Ayurvedic medicine and its three doshas. It's very similar - but with more information about what is good for your gut or what you should look after healthwise. And also, you are always a mix, not strictly one "type" but a mix of all. Very nice stuff you did here, and it just makes you think how much of the knowledge from about two thousand years ago is now, again, something new to discover for us. Amazing stuff

The types remind me a lot of the Tridosha, an old Indian concept: Kitsunes are close to Vattas and associated with air; Tora as Pitta which are associated with fire, and Kuma as Kapha which are associated with earth or water.
I was thinking exactly this. I study ayurveda and right away thought this too. Even the names given are the anookatva given by shushruta Acharya in his discription of the prakriti types

I'm definitely a mix of all, but mostly Kitsune.
THIS IS CRAZY, I didn't do particularly well in school for various reasons, but there was one thing I've always known. I LEARN FAST or my brain is ''fast'', I'm a speedy writer, a fast talker, and a fast listener (I watch YT videos/films and even educational videos at 2x speed and it's still a little slow to me).
My memory is also good but not as much as some madmen out there🤣 My motivation is 80%, Memory 80%, and Learning 100%, Which is PRETTY ACCURATE. I WANT TO MAKE ALL OF THEM 100%, especially my memory, I feel it has plummeted bc of endless internet scrolling for about 2 years. YT has been helping, thanks to all the creators!

Do you have links to studies ( the preliminary science you are referring to) that underpin this brain type classification and learning method correlation ? Not to diminish the conclusions based on your experience, but the more I read and watch videos about learning and pedagogy, the more it's seems that there are tons of hypotheses, but rarely are there proper (scientific due diligence) evidence/proofs. I know it's a hard problem but still.
thats partially an artifact of the particular difficulty in studying cognition do to self reporting limitations, yea i agree it is annoying.
