    Your videos are amazing! You are patient, humble, you do not assume everyone else has the same level of knowledge that you have, you explain little by little. Excellent, simply excellent. Love you videos!

    I'm driving on the controller still, but have been playing ACC since release and it's by far the best controller racing game out there but.... watching all your vids to learn as much as possible as in 2-3 months I can finally afford a wheel like a cultured human being. Much support, long time fan!

    This TL;DW series is amazing!! I've watched tons of video's explaining theory on setups, but after watching your video's I'm finally getting the feeling that I "understand" how to do setups. Before, when I felt something in a car which I didn't like, I had to look at a "cheat sheet" I found on the internet to tell me what to do. Now I just know instantly what to change. And the changes I make actually work most of the time. Your video's changed doing setups from a boring thing you have to do to get better performance out of a car into something which is actually quite fun to do. Keep up the great content!!!

    Hi Aris, this new ACC content is amazing, Thank You. I'm sure once the SIM community watch the ACC series of videos they will be blown away by the amazing Graphics/Sounds/SIM immersion ACC provides us SIM racers.
    I Laugh when i hear Iracing fanboys talk about their overpriced SIM platform, when i load up Iracing I'm ashamed at its 1990's graphic engine, I can't understand why SIM racers pay heavy monthly subscriptions for such poor graphics. If only ACC could improve the multiplayer side of the SIM I feel no other SIM title could come close to this near perfection SIM title.

    Aris, if you said:
    > Pirelly tyres have a significant drop after 3 laps
    > Pirelly tyres want to work between 27 and 28 psi
    And given that:
    > Aggressive setups pre-inflate the tyres between 24-25 psi
    > It can take up to 3 laps to reach that 27.5 psi pressure
    Should we assume that for a qualifying session our setups should inflate the tyres at more than the default 25 psi (maybe 26, so that at the end of the out lap we have both the ideal pressure and the maximum grip from the tyre)?

    • @ArisDrives
      @ArisDrives  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is a valid theory but you'll need to try it out and see. The laptime is the final judge. If you're trained enough you can shoot your fastest laptime instantly. I need 2-3 laps to "heat up"

    Hey Aris, great video as always. On a technical side - is it possible to enable audio compressor within your streaming software? I know this time was different, but even with the app for the previous streams I think this could help smooth out the audio quality.

    • @ArisDrives

    The tyres should degrade lap after lap so that by 20 laps or so you cannot get within 1-2 seconds of your fastest time. I’ve seen Jardier gets his fastest lap time after 30 laps on his tyres. Like real life, you should be a lot slower, so that If someone has a different strategy and pits later for new tyres, they will easily be 1-2 seconds a lap faster. Is there any reason why this doesn’t seem to happen? I really appreciate your thoughts.

    Aris, im a new subscriber great channel, great game, but, I can't figure out the tyre structure in setup. How do the tyre set quantities relate to each other in the (fuel and tyre box) vs the (pitstop strategy box). Is there a video that explains? this aspect of the game. I've learned alot from your channel but confused by the tyre set-up. Thanks

    The big challenge I have is to even control the car the way you do and follow your line with the basic aggressive setup... it is nearly impossible for me to keep tthe corner speed and brake at the same points as you do - what the hell am I doing wrong? Sitting in my first little simrig with a G29 feeling like an idiot :(

    i have a question,
    is there a guide for track temp to psi needed. e.g if the track drops 5degrees in temp when transitioning to race from qually.... -5deg = +2psi??
    or does it involve setting up many practice runs and take note of track temp and what pressure is needed?

    • @MrUwU-dj7js
      @MrUwU-dj7js 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have the same question, but saw this on r/ACCompetizione
      adjust the tyre pressures after roughly 3 laps of driving so that they end up at ~27.5 psi for slicks and ~30psi for wet tyres

  • @drougfree592
    @drougfree592 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    so you get less understeering if you lower the front wing and raise the rear wing? . This change could make the car more unstable ?

  • @mitchelljosephthompson1ub444
    @mitchelljosephthompson1ub444 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, why did you put the rear right tyre to 27.3, how did you get the calculation to get to the 27? Why did you need 2 psi more on that tyre and only 1 psi more on the other 3. The last reading on the right rear was 25.5. And you said you need to get to the 27s... why is that many Thanks. 👌

    • @gregpugliese
      @gregpugliese 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I believe it was because the right rear pressure under load was 1 psi lower than the rest, and so to get all pressures up to ~26, it required increasing the other 3 by 1 psi and the right rear by 2 psi.

    • @ArisDrives
      @ArisDrives  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You change the pressures based on the hot pressure you achieved after a couple of laps. Check this playlist, the very first video explains well how to setup the pressures. They are the most important thing.

    I just got ACC on PS4 but I can’t use the paddles on my G29 to shift? Only way I can drive in manual mode is to use the buttons which are set as the shifter in control bindings. Any suggestions. I also have AC’s Ultimate Edition and the paddles work in it without me having to do anything.
